Avodart no prescription

Common Questions and Answers about Avodart no prescription

avodart

Avatar m tn No do not change your medicines if Flomax works. Even if you stopped or switched to another type you could still have floppy iris syndrome. If it works keep on it and tell your eye surgeon. Special techniques and instruments and drops make FIS not the problem it use to be when we first saw it.
Avatar m tn When I developed gynecomastia (which is minor and I ignore) I lowered the dose of AVODART to one twice a week which is 8/month (from 15/month). AVODART has a long half life. Will 8/month still work? I wrote to GLaxo who make Avodart and they said what you said "ask your physician". My physician is very busy and I don't want to waste his time. My next appointment is in June and I will ask at that time if I don't have an answer by then.
Avatar m tn What is normal time to stay Avodart ? The doc give enough for 3 weeks but I would think I would need to stay on for longer than that. I have had no side effects as I know of and I believe it has helped. How long has others stayed on this ? Thanks for any help.
Avatar n tn Propose that your partner try Avodart. I think it really helps with prostate enlargement. That is what the television commercials say anyhow. Unfortunately it also can cause a large reduction in semen production. AND women wanting to become pregnant should NEVER touch the pill as it can cause birth defects if they are exposed at all to it. You can Google Avodart read all of this yourself from a variety of sites, including Avodart's manufacturer.
Avatar m tn I'm 68 years old and have had Cataracts for over 2 years. I've been taking Avodart for over a year. Should I stop taking Avodart and wait awhile before cataract surgery or will the informed Dr be able to work with my eyes? I've never taken Flomax and have heard the warnings from the commercial and read about Flomax. I'm concerned about any complications. I'm also pretty active. Can I still swim after surgery and what are the chances of the lens shifting or coming loose?
Avatar m tn I am a 61-year-old, white male. In the past, I had been VERY heterosexually active. I’m not gay. I am now in an exclusive, monogamous relationship and have been for quite some time. Three years ago, I was diagnosed with BPH, and prescribed a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. Urine stream improved. Frequency abated. I asked my urologist to consider putting me on the standard dosage of Depo Testosterone, strictly as an exogenous source of free testosterone, due to malaise, fatigue, etc.
Avatar f tn Even getting older an cause it, smoking, taking various medications (not just avodart), gaining weight, etc. Do you find you also have erectile dysfunction? Avodart, unfortunately, is associated with these side effects. It's unclear though how long they will last. What does your doctor say? What prompted starting the med? Your psa looks pretty good.
Avatar m tn I am suffering from BPH for the last 4 years and I am taking DUTASTERIDE (AVODART) and Alfuzosin . Unfortunately , these meds do not help much since few months ago. I also about a new procedure named: gat-goren (GG), that sounds as non-pervasive. Did anyone hear about the GG procedure and can share experience or knowledge about that ?
Avatar m tn It depends on the test. Do you know if it is ELISA or Herpeselect?
Avatar m tn Hi. I am a 61 year old, white male. In the past, I had been VERY heterosexually active. I am now in an exclusive, monogamous relationship. Three years ago, I was diagnosed with BPH, and prescribed a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. My urine stream improved. Frequency abated. So the drug worked. I asked my urologist to consider putting me on the standard dosage of Depo Testosterone, strictly as an exogenous source of free testosterone, due to malaise, fatigue, etc.
Avatar m tn I say this because there are certain medications meant for men, like Avodart for enlarged prostate, that women are told not to even handle. They say so on the commercials for this medication. If women are told not to even handle Avodart, which would mean that it can be absorbed through the skin, I would think you may be right about the possibility of you absorbing the hormones from the IUD. But, I suspect some doctor may refute this, although I don't know why.
Avatar m tn I had a foley catheter put in 6 days ago to drain my bladder. (no infection, prostate swollen from meds). it was VERY painful on insertion and removal. it was in for about 10 hours, then removed. it has been 6 days since removal and i still have small traces of what appears to be skin and dryed blood in my urine.looks like small pieces of red thread in my urine. is this normal? I seen the doctor 4 days after removal and he said it was probably just from the catheter.
Avatar m tn Feelingundone is right. This government website says that the average incubation period after exposure is 4 days (range, 2 to 12) http://www.cdc.gov/std/herpes/stdfact-herpes-detailed.
Avatar m tn I'd recommend that you see an internist, they specialize in figuring out "the puzzle", are familiar with entire body system interplay. I'm going to have administration refer this post over to Urology to see if you can get more info there (this is a forum for pelvic organ prolapse, a female health disorder). Hang in there, I'm hopeful you will find the answers you need!
Avatar n tn observation if another biopsy done in 04/09 shows increase in positive cores to 3 or more or if any one core shows 50%+ positive for cancer? Also, is there any current opinion regarding use of Avodart or Proscar while in Watchful Waiting mode? I understand there would be a likely reduction in PSA, but that new PSA baseline be established and return to monitoring of PSA velocity. Not sure what, if any, benefit this would provide.
1657684 tn?1307375035 Very likely, the Urologist will prescribe a medication, such as Avodart, since the symptoms are severe enough to impact his quality of life. He might also try Saw Palmetto, which is available online, and at any health food store. I know folks who take this, and claim it works very well. One other reason for him to see a Urologist is that it could just be an enlarged prostate, but it could be more serious.
Avatar f tn Can my doctor refuse to fill my prescription for diabetes unless I get the covid test? Is this legal?
Avatar m tn I have had an ultrasound of the prostate which checked out fine and have been tested for chlamydia and gonorhea, which both came back negative. I am currently taking uroxatral and avodart daily, and am curious as to why I am still having symptoms. Is it possible of being overmedicated? Or is there something that has been missed? If so what other possibilities are there?
Avatar m tn No, don't do any of the above! Narcotics are to be filled 30 days after your last refill. It does not matter if your doctor gave you a new script you must wait. Why would you need to refill early? you stated you have some left.
1967424 tn?1325633780 Sure, I knew I could have I could have probably taken a couple without her even knowing it but I had no desire at all. I have even opened the bottle, put one in my hand, poured her a glass of water and taken them to her when she was too sore to get out of bed. I know I'm kinda playing with fire but it makes me sick to even think about taking one. I honestly almost gag. I've come too far to throw it all away.
