My question is it is a month already and the redness still did not go away completely and my muscles still ache and my temperature is still at 37.

so I took my STD test but before I got the result I panicked thinking of gonorrhea or syphilis and took Augmentin for 3 days. My Dr has treated me with Metronidazole- brand name used was flagyl Nylstatin for yeast, clamycin,spandnox (for yeast), and recently had some relief with Augmentin(which was prescribed for a chest infection). i went to the the doctors and tested negative on a rapid strep test for strep throat. i also tested negative for mono through a blood test. they gave a culture to a lab for a more thorough strep test, that has not come back yet. to treat my throat they gave me augmentin (amoxicilin and clavulanate). so far i have taken one pill and i will take another in 12 hours.

I can't believe that I found this forum. Like everyone else (it seems), my doctors know nothing about this condition and are unsure how to treat it. I've been suffering for two months and in that time I've had a mammogram, ultrasound, core biopsy, 6 rounds of antibiotics, and two abscesses drained and packed. I am very tired of this (though I know most people have suffered longer - I'm just not very patient).

certainly you need to return to be seen again. get properly tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally. also ask them to do a gram stain on it to see if it's an overgrowth of lactobacillus too if none of your infectious causes come back as +.
They placed a rod in the tibia and did nothing with the fibula. Now I have a staph infection. I was put on augmentin and now the doctor says the results of the culture will not be accurate. Is there any way I can find out for sure if the infection is in the bone or has contaminated the rod? My doctor wants to do surgery to replace the rod.

Gram negative diploccoci typically means gonorrhea but should be confirmed with a urine test or culture. There are other Gram neg diploccoci out there as well.
It's impossible to tell who carrried the STD first unless your wife can prove she did not have any sexual encounters. However, how would you know 100% that's the truth?
It's unlikely that you would carry a gonorrhea infection for that long without knowing, but it's possible. You could have been asymptematic.
