If you took augmentin, and it cleared up for you, it was a UTI and not an STI.
You bought her clotrimazole? That's medication for a yeast infection, which can happen for lots of reasons, and is also not an STI.
Your wife is pregnant, though, and I understand why you are worried. After you've been off the augmentin for 3 weeks, test for all STIs to be able to put this behind you.
My Dr has treated me with Metronidazole- brand name used was flagyl Nylstatin for yeast, clamycin,spandnox (for yeast), and recently had some relief with Augmentin(which was prescribed for a chest infection). When i was on augmentin all the above symptoms went away however came back 1 or 2 days after i came off the anti biotic.

I was prescribed augmentin 875 and I am taking that 2 times a day for the past 4 days now. I was also prescribed sudafed 4-6 hours that I have been taking for 2 days. Yesterday I started having trouble urinating and pain in my penis. I also had pain while ejaculating. This is still happening today. I was diagnosed with epididymitis after a surgical procedure in early August. I was prescribed doxycycline and cipro and it seemed as if the swelling was going down and the pain was easing. After a few weeks, I ended up back at the ER 8/25 from pain and learned that the epidiymitis was caused by an UTI that must've occured after surgery. The doctor prescribed me doxycycline again. Things seemed to normalize but after I decided to seek other counsel.

My internist called me and asked if I had any pain or burning. I do not. She said I prob have UTI and started me on Augmentin for 10 days. I took the augmentin for 2wks and still felt horrible. I then went to a urologist who did not do a urine test just pulled it up from the records from urgent care and prescribed me gentimicin injections. I had 4 of these. All these time I felt like I had a UTI and yeast infection so they also treated me with the diflucan on multiple occasions 100mg for 5days and also 150g take one and another 3days later and also using all over the counter available creams.
I have been sick since 22 June 2022, I went to the hospital and met the urologist for a check and ultrasound found that there was an epididymal cyst on the left testicle, minimal hydrocele, and bilateral testicular microlothiasis.
at that time it was only the cyst that hurt, the doctor gave the antibiotic augmentin for 7 days until 29 June 2022.

I had a hysterectomy 4 weeks ago (large broad lig fibroid) and I hoped that might make a difference. last week got an infection, was given augmentin for 7 days (again) and 2 days after finishing the course, it is now back again. Heavily swollen, very tired, uristrip showing white blood cells, protein, cloudy pee.
I questioned my doc as to why they keep coming back and she says she doesn't know, she is not a 'clever doctor', and just keeps giving me 7 days augmentin.
I was wondering if anyone else has taken Augmentin. I was prescribed it for a double ear infection. Originally I was given acetic acid drops but they aren't working.
I plan on calling my OB in the morning to double check. They are pregnancy category B. Although they are thought to be safe not many studies have been done on them. I'm nervous about everything. This is my first pregnancy and I am only 18.

Gram negative rods most likely e. coli, sounds like a UTI. Diplococci can be gonorrhea. It seems like they are still waiting for the culture results. Typically they initially look at the cells and are able to tell their shapes and stuff, but after a few days you can culture and get the exact name of the organism.
