Hey, I've just been diagnosed with ADHD and I'll be taking Atomoxetine. It's the non - stimulant type, I was thinking the stimulant form of medication would suit me better with such as an Amphetamine based one. I was a user on speed awhile ago and when I was on I felt established, in control, I could concentrate and express my inteligence.

I was diagnosed with ADHD 9/9 in March this year by a phsyciatrist at a harley street in London(remotley)
I tried stimulants dextroamphetamine and listamphetamin but they didn't agree with me. I was then prescribed atomoxetine. I took these for 4 weeks- start with 10mg then 20mg then 40mg and called my harley phsyciatrist as I was running out.

0) after being on a dug trail for Atomoxetine, (last year, at age 45 yrs) by an A.D.H.D. specalist team in Northampton England. Aparently many medical teams around the world dont belive a.d.h.d goes into adulthood, belive me it does! I have it extreamly badly, and after a disastor with Rittaline im now on Strattera (atomoxetine, which is not yet licenced in u.k.) is there any other adults out there that have been, like me, misdiagnosed for years because . .. when I was a child a.d.h.

I am currently taking Atomoxetine – a medication used to treat ADHD in adults. I take 40mg once daily in the morning and it really helps me to concentrate better and function the way I need to etc…
One of the main issues I have is the effect it has on my penis and testicles.
Hi. There is no current study that prohibits Atomoxetine (Strattera) users to take creatine supplements. However, caution should be made when taking supplements, since both drugs can alter kidney function and cause urinary symptoms (e.g. stones, dysuria) when not taken properly. It's unbelievable that I made so many mistakes just writing down my problems, the worst is I forgot I entered this and entered again tonight. I've been having problems for 7 years until diagnosed. I'm not sure how this site works. This cognitive problems is not good. Questions is this a problem of MG, drugs, alzheimer's, a stroke or depression. I haven't called the my nerulogist yet. The drug I’m referring to is specifically Ritalin not Ritalin SR (sustained release). Ritalin is made in 5, 10 or 20 mg tablets. This question involve the dosage Ritalin is prescribed. I’ve read that the average dosage for adults is 30 mg/day. I’m a 25 year old male. I weigh 220 lbs. and am 5’11”. The only other medication I’m on is 100 mg of Zoloft/day for the treatment of depression. I have no prior medical issues.
It is equally unknown whether MG can cause silent PID or only with symptoms like low abdominal pain. Regardless of cause, for most PID the symptoms are mild, not sufficiento to be any kind of "medical emergency".
I continue to have burning at the base of my scrotum and penis 9 months after contact. I thought that MG could spread to other parts of the body especially through oral sex.
But my problem is some of my other symptoms are not related to MG. I have problems walking, my giat is wide, I have a Babinski reflex, I have horrible involuntary muscle movements in my legs at night and problems with disfunctional bowel and bladder problems. My doctor ran another blood test and it showed twice a very high fatty acid level or VLCFA. But DNA test did not show ALD. My doctor started me on Zanaflex for the leg muscle problems when she thought I had ALD.
Hi there. Ocular MG is a disease of the neuromuscular junction resulting in muscle weakness and fatigability. This is an autoimmune disease where anomalous antibodies are produced against the acetylcholine receptors in voluntary muscles. The most common presentation is double vision and eyelid drooping or ptosis wherea the pupil is spared. Diplopia is seen when MG affects a single extraocular muscle in one eye, limiting eye movement and leading to double vision.

Another conversion chart says that 60 mg of Armour is equivalent of 75 mcg of T4. For the latter, that would have been 120 mg of Armour instead of 90. So, just be aware that you most likely will need an increase, for that reason as well continuing to have symptoms.
Another couple of things to consider is that any med with T3 in it is best taken by splitting the dose in half and taking 1/2 in the morning and half in the afternoon.
The doctor just started my Mom on Zyprexa 5 MG today, she has Alzheimers and is taking Tradazone and Buspirone . An hour after taking the Zyprexa she was confused and thought my nephew was her child.She is 80 and lives alone,My sister her main caregiver lives next door and takes care of her meds and food, We are afraid she will not sleep with this new med.and wander outside.any thoughts from anyone..
