It's the non - stimulant type, I was thinking the stimulant form of medication would suit me better with such as an Amphetamine based one. I was a user on speed awhile ago and when I was on I felt established, in control, I could concentrate and express my inteligence.

I only figured out that I was A.D.D. because my friend gave me an adderall because I was super exhausted and she said it would wake me up (I don't usually take other peoples medication). Did you give the drugs some time to see if this was just a start-up side effect rather than a lasting one? But sometimes we just can't take certain meds and there might never be any way to know why. If it's a mild reaction, and you seem to not be getting what you need from other meds, maybe it's worth the trouble -- they all have some side effects even when we don't notice them.

I have a 16 year old daughter who is a Junior in high school diagnosed with ADHD (Attention type) in elementary school and OCD and processing issues at the end of Middle School. My son is 6 yrs old weighs 40 lbs and is 3'10". His twin brother is 47.5 lbs and 4' tall (they only weighed 4 ozs and 1/4 inch apart at birth). They are both very active and seem healthy except the youngest seems underweight. His Dr has mentioned it several times but thinks he may just equal out when he gets older. Both boys eat very healthy and prefer fruits and veggies over more fattening meat. Should I put him on a weight gain diet or just let it go?

I also experienced extreme irritability and heat intolerance increasingly when I was taking twice as much atomoxetine as I as should have been unknowingly - 160 mg. Symptoms. For me went away when I reduced the dose.
