I have recently been experiencing right side pain and mentioned it to my GP. He sent me for a CT which confirmed mild appendicitis. Don't have typical appendicitis symptoms other than pain and some nausea. My doc says to get it taken out. I went for a consult with a general surgeon and he said he isn't 100% that's my appendix since I don't have all the acute symptoms. He said there is no such thing as chronic appendicitis and my doc says "oh yes there is". UGH...
t develop fever or vomiting with my appendicitis, reason why it was hard to diagnose, especially because it was behind my ceccum (for 1 month doctors suspected ovary pain...until my appendix burst). Can this time be stump appendicitis and doctors mistake it for cysts again?? I'm scared...
He told me that if the pain persisted, within two days, I should return to the clinic or to the ER, on account of it could be appendicitis. I am eighteen years old, broke, and under the care of my parents who refuse to return me to any doctor. m not vomiting now but the pain is so bad and it even hurts to breathe in or cough or move...is this appendicitis or something serious..?? It didn't start around my naval it started in my sides/flank area and more intesified right side of abdominal area...
What you describe could be a number of things, including pancreatitis, appendicitis, diverticulitis, ... or something else altogether.
This set of symptoms doesn't seem to be the type one can afford to ignore.

It hurts to walk and I must sit down with great care, I have performed some of the tests for appendicitis such as lying supine with my right leg bent and pushing over to the left...this results in much pain. Having been an EMT for many years I understand this could be appendicitis, however, I am confused about the pain free lapses. I live in the middle of no where with poor hospitals about 2 and a half hours away.

Right lower quadrant pain can be due to ovarian cyst or appendicitis. The intermittent nature of the pain is typical of appendicitis. now i am developing the same pain again after about 20 hours, so i want to ask can it be appendicitis even if ultrasound doesnt show it? one of my friend got operated last month, she was having the same pain but ultrasound didnt show anything even then she got operated n now is fine!
Now the next day my lower right stomach is pretty tender, nowhere else, just lower right side. Should I be worried about appendicitis? Could it be tender from extreme gas and bloating?

He gave an order for the CT with query for appendicitis or Ileocecal tuberculosis. The same local doctor said no appendicitis or mass now recommends CECT because his friend that is the new gastro advised for it. I don't have diarrohea, fever or vomitting, blood in stools but a little weight loss over a period of year as I avoided junk foods, eggs, icecreams and potato after I got chest pain problems assuming it might be against heart health.
Hi, this could be ureter stone, right ovarian cyst or appendicitis. If pulse is more than 80 and blood shows high TLC counts, is suggestive of appendicitis. In case of ureter stone, urine usually shows infection and ultrasound is diagnostic, pain is usually radiating in nature.
Well colon pain is colicky or dull in nature, do you have recent history of diarrhea?
I'm scared out of my mind that I have appendicitis but also I don't know whether it could be something psychological or a muscle pull. It's in my abdominal area, kind of lower but sometimes goes up and on the right hand side.
I've been passing gas a bit which relieves me a bit but the achy pain is still there.
t feel any pain or burning during urination that is not it. If it were an appendicitis the pain would be excruciating. Try to relax and don't stress. You can take an over the counter pain reliever and apply a heating pad to help alleviate the pain.
Also had a small fever at one time giving me chills in the night but after that it was gone
