Avatar f tn Hi, About a month or two ago, I believe I had strained some muscles while working out. The pain didn't happen right away maybe one or two weeks afterwards. At first it stemmed from my neck, shoulders, and upper back. Soon after I started to feel pain in my chest, both sides right by my armpits, lower back, and abdomen area especially on my right side. The pain is usually sharp. When I do sit for a long period of time, both my right and left sides hurt but more on my right.
Avatar f tn He told me that if the pain persisted, within two days, I should return to the clinic or to the ER, on account of it could be appendicitis. I am eighteen years old, broke, and under the care of my parents who refuse to return me to any doctor. I doubt I have appendicitis on account of my stomach has had pain for at least a week, and there's been no sign of any rupture.
Avatar m tn For a while now, maybe a week and a bit, I have had LRQ pain. It seems to move around, from the appendix area to the groin, and wraps around to the back and kidney area. As well, a mix of constipation and then diahrrea. I'm really quite terrified of it being appendicitis or worse yet, peritonitis. I have seen two health professionals, one at a clinic and the other in the emergency room, both of them saying its nothing, perhaps just a pulled or strained muscle.
9497408 tn?1404140019 I've been having this pain in my lower right abdomen for weeks, now, and it has slowly moved towards my upper right abdomen and on the side. I went to see a doctor, but he told me I was constipated and gave me meds. I've been taking the medication and now the constipation is gone, but the pain is still there, and getting worse. The pain is mostly on my right lower abdomen, and when I put pressure on it and release it, it get's worse.
Avatar n tn If you believe you are experiencing appendicitis pain, please call your doctor immediately. If s/he is not available, a visit to the ER. Vomiting with appendicitis is usually due to an emergency situation, so you don't want to wait until that happens. Be well.
Avatar f tn I have lower abdominal pain, constipation, 99° temp, nausea, but no rebound pain. I’ve had this since saturday and it’s just getting worse. should i go to the doctor or just wait?
Avatar f tn I recommend that you see your doctor as soon as possible to rule this out or go right to the ER for evaluation. If appendicitis is ruled out, this could be anything from some constipation to a stomach virus, or even somthing like an ectopic pregnancy. This really needs to be evaluated. Good luck.

Avatar n tn I have recently been experiencing right side pain and mentioned it to my GP. He sent me for a CT which confirmed mild appendicitis. Don't have typical appendicitis symptoms other than pain and some nausea. My doc says to get it taken out. I went for a consult with a general surgeon and he said he isn't 100% that's my appendix since I don't have all the acute symptoms. He said there is no such thing as chronic appendicitis and my doc says "oh yes there is". UGH...
Avatar m tn Hello, I'm a 19 year male college student, and I have had this problem for several years. At random moments, usually pretty rarely, I will get a sudden, sharp pain in the lower right area of my abdomen. It will cause me to panic for the brief second that it lasts (i'll clutch it etc..), because it feels really severe. It always goes away though, and since it's been a problem I've had for a long time, I don't really think it's a big issue.
Avatar m tn Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, infection in kidney, kidney stones (possibly missed on ultrasound), constipation, ovary involvement in women (cysts, hemorrhage, tumor, torsion-all ruled out in your case), ectopic pregnancy in women (ruled out), mesentry (a thin tissue that carries the blood, nerves and lymphatics for the intestine) involvement with low blood supply, enlarged lymphnodes, and an abscess in rectus abdominis muscle or psoas muscle (these two are unlikely is there is no localized p
Avatar f tn ve looked into appendicitis symptoms and wondered if I should be seen soon, or only if the pain returns?
Avatar f tn I could easily all be constipation. Try this and see if it helps with the constipation. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WVYB8Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?
Avatar n tn chronic involvement of appendix (many a times ultrasound misses this as the appendix in such cases is hidden behind loops of intestine and typical symptoms of appendicitis are absent), involvement of kidney and inflammation of your intestine. Lower right abdomen pain is commonly due to appendicitis. The pain, can at times come and go and not give the classic picture.
Avatar n tn My bowel movements seem pretty normal. Any loose stool or constipation resolves itself in a day. I do have hemorrhoids from giving birth to my kids. They never really bother me( a little itchy sometimes) so I have opted not to have them surgically removed. So I do occasionally have some bright red blood when wiping but was told that was the hemorrhoids. I dont know what to think now. I truly thought it was kidney pain and all related to that. But the tests seem to becoming up negative.
Avatar f tn I have either an upset stomach or constipation and daily dizzy spells where I also feel nauseus (sp?) and weak aswell. Living in the UK I went to see an emergency doctor as with my job and studies I don't usually have time to see my actual Dr. They told me to see a nurse who checked my tummy for swelling and any pain by pressing it in certain places. She also tested me for a UTI and pregnancy. Everything came back negative.
