What you have described are classic symptoms of appendicitis. I recommend that you see your doctor as soon as possible to rule this out or go right to the ER for evaluation. If appendicitis is ruled out, this could be anything from some constipation to a stomach virus, or even somthing like an ectopic pregnancy. This really needs to be evaluated. Good luck.
4. Appendicitis goes with nausea, vomiting and raised leukocytes in the blood. Appendicitis is painfull at any time you press on area. Bouncing sign is present: lye down on the back and press deeply sopmewhere on your lower LEFT abdomen, then release the pressure quickly. In peritonitis or appendicitis you should feel a sharp pain on the LRQ area. Peritonitis would also show marked inflammation in the blood.
The typical symptoms of appendicitis is pain in the lower right of your belly. You may get nausea, vomiting and diarrhea with fever. You do not have all the symptoms.
Sometimes pain or discomfort in the lower right belly area (or in the belly of children) may be due to Mesenteric adenitis which is inflammation of the mesenteric lymph nodes.
Sometimes it is hard to know if it is the mesenteric gland or the appendix that is causing the problem and an appendectomy has been carried.
This classic pattern of migratory pain is the most reliable symptom of acute appendicitis. Vomiting may then occur, in contrast to the repeated bouts of vomiting that typically accompany viral gastroenteritis or small bowel obstruction. Fever then usually occurs, followed by the development of an elevated white blood cell count. Of course not all patients present this way. For example, not all patients lose their appetite.
White count was high and X-ray showed probable appendicitis. Admitted to hospital and CT was done. No appendicitis but a 6mm Appendicolith was found and referral to general surgery next week.
my twelve year old son has been vomiting for the past week. He says he feels fine and he has a regular appetite. The only other symptom he has if that he is hurting on his right lower side. He has had no fever. The doctor checked his blood and urine this morning and said it all looks fine. Of course they won't keep him at school when he is vomiting. What could possibly be wrong that needs to be checked that the Dr. is missing?
I have a 5 year old boy and he is running a fever of 102.6 is is complaining of abdominal pain around his belly button. He is very lethargic and he will not eat. He is not voiding as much. What could be wrong with him. There is no diarrhea or vomiting.
I have all if the appendicitis symptoms ( bloating, diarrhea, constipation, severe abdominal pain followed by vomiting) but aren't these all pregnancy things to? I'm 41/2 weeks.

m not vomiting now but the pain is so bad and it even hurts to breathe in or cough or move...is this appendicitis or something serious..?? It didn't start around my naval it started in my sides/flank area and more intesified right side of abdominal area...
ve searched for my simptoms online. This way I found out about stump appendicitis and I got mortified it could be that. Could the CT scan have missed it? All the other organs seemed fine.
Last year, I didn't develop fever or vomiting with my appendicitis, reason why it was hard to diagnose, especially because it was behind my ceccum (for 1 month doctors suspected ovary pain...until my appendix burst). Can this time be stump appendicitis and doctors mistake it for cysts again??

During the first episode, the pain was so bad he could not walk. They suspected appendicitis, but an ultrasound turned up nothing and surgeon determined it was not appendicitis. During each episode, the inflammation markers in his blood rise (ESR 20, CRP 67), but then fall to normal levels after the episode ends. An X-ray showed nothing.
With appendicitis you would feel very ill, have a fever, possible diarrhea and vomiting. The pain would settle and be more in on the right side.
If you are concerned, even with your constipation, make an appointment as see your doctor. The doctor will examine you for any possible obstructions, and prescribe you with a prescription, or give you advice.
You can get suppository gels and also over the counter medications to loosen up the stools and help with the elimination.
I went to an aftercare and was told it could be appendicitis so they sent me to the er. The pain just kept getting worse and worse even at the er. They gave me a dose of hydrocodone and it did not even touch the pain. By now I was up to about an 8/10 for pain level. Then as the hour went on my pain became a 12/10 to the point where I was literally moaning and crying in pain in my lower right side all the way around to my back. They gave me two does of dilated at it did not touch it.
Lung infections like pneumonia and bronchitis can irritate the diaphragm and cause vomiting. Pancreatitis is another entity diagnosed by blood tests and ultrasound. Renal stones can cause vomiting and pain. The stones may be too small to be picked up by an ultrasound. Inflammatory bowel diseases can also be the culprits. Discuss these options with your doctor when you happen to meet him.

Right side abdominal pain of a few days duration, associated with loss of appetite, nausea and occasionally vomiting, fever, feeling generally unwell in anyone between the ages of 9 and 39 is appendicitis, until proven otherwise. Even more so if you are male.
This does not mean that appendicitis do not occur out side that age bracket. It is more common within the first three decade of life, and can occur at any age.
