Avatar m tn t hear the word Gay without freeing out and getting anxious, looking at my child hood it was perfectly normal. I liked girls played sports, hated girly stuff... Etc. I tremble every time I think I'm gay. I pray to god every night for is problem to end. But it won't work nothing seems to work. It is like I am falling in a black hole and can't get out. I know deep down I'm straight but my mind keeps contradicting. Any suggestions? am I gay? Can someone suddenly turn gay?
Avatar f tn Exactly 4 weeks later I developed appendicitis and had it removed via laparoscopic surgery, the surgeon said it was "messy in there". I have had no other symptoms suggestive of HIV. My concern is the appendicitis was due to lymphoid hyperplasia (swollen lymph tissue) caused from a viral infection (HIV) given it occurred so soon after exposure. It seems a bit out there to consider them related however I do see it as a possibility, but was unable to find any studies to confirm.
1800585 tn?1315853521 Have you had your appendix checked or removed? One of the signs of appendicitis actually is if the pain is BETTER when pressure is applied and worse when that pressure is removed. It is possible (although not very common) to have chronic appendicitis where you get inflammation periodically, but it doesn't go into a full blown acute attack.
Avatar m tn 4. Appendicitis goes with nausea, vomiting and raised leukocytes in the blood. Appendicitis is painfull at any time you press on area. Bouncing sign is present: lye down on the back and press deeply sopmewhere on your lower LEFT abdomen, then release the pressure quickly. In peritonitis or appendicitis you should feel a sharp pain on the LRQ area. Peritonitis would also show marked inflammation in the blood.
Avatar f tn Hi, About a month or two ago, I believe I had strained some muscles while working out. The pain didn't happen right away maybe one or two weeks afterwards. At first it stemmed from my neck, shoulders, and upper back. Soon after I started to feel pain in my chest, both sides right by my armpits, lower back, and abdomen area especially on my right side. The pain is usually sharp. When I do sit for a long period of time, both my right and left sides hurt but more on my right.
Avatar m tn An appendix is usually on the right side of your stomach and you will usually run a high fever with appendicitis. However, if you are still concerned, you can call your doctor and ask to speak to a nurse.
Avatar n tn I am experiencing exactly what you described now today would be the 4th day... everyone saying I should be at the ER but I am terrified of hospitals. My pain constant in my back on the sides like the flank area and that's a constant dull ache it radiates to my abdominal but there's a sharp pain that goes straight through to the back Right side of abdomen two inches from my naval ...
Avatar n tn I have contact nausea and slight unsteadiness. I have had a CT of my head and a ECG of my heart to rule out anything extremely serious. At times the nausea gets soo bad i feel like i may faint. Also the pains in my abdomen seem to get worse when i eat or after a night out drinking. Then the pain gets very sharp and spreads to the left side and lower left of the back, i get hit by a sudden feeling of weakness and have to lie down.
Avatar f tn now i am developing the same pain again after about 20 hours, so i want to ask can it be appendicitis even if ultrasound doesnt show it? one of my friend got operated last month, she was having the same pain but ultrasound didnt show anything even then she got operated n now is fine!
Avatar f tn Im 10 weeks pregnant and got my appendix removed yesterday (saturday) they told me about the risks with the anastesia and baby, but they also told me that if i left it in and it ruptured id lose baby for sure. Anyone else have their appendix removed and had a perfectly healthy baby?
Avatar f tn 30 am with bad stomach pain (top middle), bloating, and gas. I went the the ER about 6 hours later and received indigestion meds. I felt much better outside of mild abdominal discomfort from gas still. Now the next day my lower right stomach is pretty tender, nowhere else, just lower right side. Should I be worried about appendicitis? Could it be tender from extreme gas and bloating? Thoughts?
Avatar f tn Last night I started having a dull pain on the right side of my abdomen, across from my belly button, it went away today but came back around lunch time. It went away again and now at 2am it has come back. I pressed on my stomach a bit and it send a shooting pain through my belly button area. Its not SUPER painful, just more of a discomfort. I've also started urinating WAY more in the past hour and I'm not sure if its related but my knees began aching REALLY bad out of nowhere.
Avatar n tn An appendix that ruptures is a very serious and life threatening issue and can lead to death due to blood poisoning, also known as septicemia or sepsis.
Avatar n tn d been suffering from a fever, lower/midline abdominal pain on my right side, and severe diarrhea for several days, and was told by my doctor to go to the ER to rule out appendicitis. Besides my signs/symptoms, the only abnormal finding was a slightly enlarged appendix in the ultrasound and CT. I was told to keep an eye out for things, and to go back asap if things got worse- which they likely would within a reasonably short amount of time.
Avatar f tn As soon as she left the bedside, I told my ex I still thought it was appendicitis. The surgeon got there and heard the story, saw the white count, and examined him. He said it was gangrenous appendicitis and started an IV. Then after 6 hours or something he took out his appendix. So yeah, it can be confusing sometimes. The thing they most often confuse it with is diverticulitis. That can be even worse than appendicitis though.
Avatar f tn I'm not much of a sports fan or sports person but I'll watch it. I can't get around sports cuz I'm surrounded by guys (my many brothers, dad & bf) and everyone knows when sports are on you don't distract men. lol I like soccer. I used to watch it for C.Ronaldo but then I got tired of his cockiness. I'm usually repulsed my people who think they're just so great and sadly that's found sooo much in sports.
7708597 tn?1395400152 Talk to your doc of course but your abdominal wall and uterus and the amniotic sac give the growing fetus lots of cushioning and protection.
Avatar f tn Do not get to the point where you lose your breath and cannot talk. Cardio is important and will help with you stamina during labor.
Avatar f tn They are doing an endoscopy and colonoscopy in morning so hopefully know something! He hasn't been on antibiotics he was a very healthy child and very active with sports etc eats right and exercises all the time my neighbor has chrones and said they have same symptoms all the time guess well find out!
Avatar f tn I Heard That Certain Sports Are Okay During Pregnancy I Was Wondering If Volleyball Is One ?
Avatar f tn Hi and thanks for using the forum. What you have described are classic symptoms of appendicitis. I recommend that you see your doctor as soon as possible to rule this out or go right to the ER for evaluation. If appendicitis is ruled out, this could be anything from some constipation to a stomach virus, or even somthing like an ectopic pregnancy. This really needs to be evaluated. Good luck.
Avatar n tn Two years ago my 11 year old son was at football practice and he did a simple hit nothing that should of hurt him and he got and ran off the field and said he could not fill his left side, he was taking to the hospital and they found fluid in his spine, did all the test and we found out he had Chiari, about three months later after we found out no contact sports ( he is very athletic ) he looked at me and said he wishes he die that day because he no longer has a life, this has taken everything.
316819 tn?1231257195 I dont mean to scare you and yes there are a lot of sports that are safe during pregnancy but I know a woman that was on the volley ball team, she thought it would be ok to continue because she was very fit and wasnt showing at all by 5 month so she stayed and during a game got hit in the stomach with a ball and ened up losing her baby. Things happen all the time and if it were me I would give it up for your babys sake....Its only a short time and a little sacrafice..
Avatar f tn I too play the game. Have since junior high. My doctor told me not to because it was such a heavy sport. Lots of jumping and diving and such isn't safe. First trimester is very delicate stage of pregnancy and the way my dr explained it that its very easy for it to detach from the uterus walls. So take it easy.
Avatar n tn hi , is there a relation between anxiety and fitness ? i have a proportional height and weight but idont know why i found my fitness is very low , when i play soccer i easily get tired , i can't do more than 3 pushups, I always feel dizzy !!! I've been depressed the last two years because of the stress of getting bullied in school , is that have any thing to do with my fitness?, even that my body don't look bad and i don't have eating problems .
Avatar n tn ve seen the eye doc a couple of times and he says that i have lattice (spelling?) degeneration and moderate myopia but no retinal tear, so he is not that concerned yet. I have been weightlifting 3-4 times a week for the past month (just started), and it seems that my floaters have worsened. Is there some connection between weightlifting (and/or intense exercise like hockey) and eye floaters? I don't want to give up weightlifting for the rest of my life, but would you advise that I do so?
