My stomach is constantly making gurgling noises and it feels like there are gas bubbles inside of me. I am really, really scared that something serious is going on with me. I am an anxious person in general so I have been researching all my symptoms, and it always comes back to appendicitis.
I have an appointment with my doctor in two days, but I am just so afraid something really bad is happening to me. I tried to tell her that but she just said sorry, I will see you when I can.
Given that my pains are not concentrated in the right and not that intense, does it seem unlikely to ne appendicitis? Could appendix symptoms drag on this long (it's coming up for a week). The pain has got no worse and if anything seems to be improving. Also, would appendicitis symptoms usually go after eating a meal?
I'm extremely anxious and worried right now. Appreciate any advice!
m hungry I just get those noises all over my stomach and especially on my right side near the appendix. I saw my doctor in Sep or Oct and had told him I had the same issues on my right side like I do now and he told me I had a stomach flu and told me to take Maalox and it went away and I never thought of it again. Until now.
Exactly 4 weeks later I developed appendicitis and had it removed via laparoscopic surgery, the surgeon said it was "messy in there". I have had no other symptoms suggestive of HIV.
My concern is the appendicitis was due to lymphoid hyperplasia (swollen lymph tissue) caused from a viral infection (HIV) given it occurred so soon after exposure.
It seems a bit out there to consider them related however I do see it as a possibility, but was unable to find any studies to confirm.

Bouncing sign is present: lye down on the back and press deeply sopmewhere on your lower LEFT abdomen, then release the pressure quickly. In peritonitis or appendicitis you should feel a sharp pain on the LRQ area. Peritonitis would also show marked inflammation in the blood.

About a month or two ago, I believe I had strained some muscles while working out. The pain didn't happen right away maybe one or two weeks afterwards. At first it stemmed from my neck, shoulders, and upper back. Soon after I started to feel pain in my chest, both sides right by my armpits, lower back, and abdomen area especially on my right side. The pain is usually sharp. When I do sit for a long period of time, both my right and left sides hurt but more on my right.
An appendix is usually on the right side of your stomach and you will usually run a high fever with appendicitis. However, if you are still concerned, you can call your doctor and ask to speak to a nurse.
I am experiencing exactly what you described now today would be the 4th day... everyone saying I should be at the ER but I am terrified of hospitals. I have contact nausea and slight unsteadiness. I have had a CT of my head and a ECG of my heart to rule out anything extremely serious.
At times the nausea gets soo bad i feel like i may faint.
Also the pains in my abdomen seem to get worse when i eat or after a night out drinking. Then the pain gets very sharp and spreads to the left side and lower left of the back, i get hit by a sudden feeling of weakness and have to lie down.
now i am developing the same pain again after about 20 hours, so i want to ask can it be appendicitis even if ultrasound doesnt show it? one of my friend got operated last month, she was having the same pain but ultrasound didnt show anything even then she got operated n now is fine!
30 am with bad stomach pain (top middle), bloating, and gas. I went the the ER about 6 hours later and received indigestion meds. I felt much better outside of mild abdominal discomfort from gas still. Now the next day my lower right stomach is pretty tender, nowhere else, just lower right side. Should I be worried about appendicitis? Could it be tender from extreme gas and bloating?

Last night I started having a dull pain on the right side of my abdomen, across from my belly button, it went away today but came back around lunch time. It went away again and now at 2am it has come back. I pressed on my stomach a bit and it send a shooting pain through my belly button area. Its not SUPER painful, just more of a discomfort. I've also started urinating WAY more in the past hour and I'm not sure if its related but my knees began aching REALLY bad out of nowhere.
It started when I was in Asia, so naturally I thought parasites could be likely. They did blood and urine test when I was in Indonesia to rule out appendicitis, and kidney stones. If you get a fever with this pain i would go to the Emergency Room.
But yeah my pain started right where my appendix is, sort of radiated up that side, and the pain changes from one kind of a pain to another. I do feel it more when I drive, i assume just the position of the chair.
d been suffering from a fever, lower/midline abdominal pain on my right side, and severe diarrhea for several days, and was told by my doctor to go to the ER to rule out appendicitis. Besides my signs/symptoms, the only abnormal finding was a slightly enlarged appendix in the ultrasound and CT. I was told to keep an eye out for things, and to go back asap if things got worse- which they likely would within a reasonably short amount of time.
2 and 195 pounds, fairly active, have a fairly healthy diet, no significant medical history other than an appendicitis when I was 9, and no one in my family has any health issues or cardiovascular disease.
Recently I had blood work done and a lipid panel was as follows: total cholesterol - 117; triglycerides - 53; hdl - 33; ldl - 73.
The only abnormality was the HDL at 33, which is low. However, I am wondering if a LDL of 73 qualifies as low and perhaps as hypobetalipoproteinemia?
As soon as she left the bedside, I told my ex I still thought it was appendicitis. The surgeon got there and heard the story, saw the white count, and examined him. He said it was gangrenous appendicitis and started an IV. Then after 6 hours or something he took out his appendix.
So yeah, it can be confusing sometimes. The thing they most often confuse it with is diverticulitis. That can be even worse than appendicitis though.

What you have described are classic symptoms of appendicitis. I recommend that you see your doctor as soon as possible to rule this out or go right to the ER for evaluation. If appendicitis is ruled out, this could be anything from some constipation to a stomach virus, or even somthing like an ectopic pregnancy. This really needs to be evaluated. Good luck.
He then took a screening CT in the lab and gave the report as Chronic appendicitis with 7mm thickness. Ficolith inside the appendicitis and advised to remove it whenever you feel free but not an emergency. The Gastroenterologist was not convinced and he asked me to take a Contrast enhanced CT. But the local doctor said it is not necessary and i don't have any acute episode and there is no such Chronic appendicitis.
Sometimes, when I have sex or engage in other highly physical activities I get this sharp pain in my abdomen, maybe an inch above my bellybutton and an inch to the left, as well as a more general pain that switches from my lower left side to my lower right side, and back again. This is accompanied by a visible and palpable protrusion of the abdominal muscle directly under the skin where the sharp pain is located. The pain there intensifies to the point where it's unbearable.
She even tried to help locate the area by touching and feeling around my stomach..and sadly the day I go to my doctor's office, I wasn't able to detect the pain.So now as we speak, I'm starting to get this pain again. From time to time I'm also getting these weird digestive noises in my stomach. My stool has started to come out soft and yellow as well. I'm going to go to my doctor's again so she can at least assign me an x-ray or something. but my question is...
If pulse is more than 80 and blood shows high TLC counts, is suggestive of appendicitis. In case of ureter stone, urine usually shows infection and ultrasound is diagnostic, pain is usually radiating in nature.
Well colon pain is colicky or dull in nature, do you have recent history of diarrhea?
ve been noticing for a while now that certain noises annoy/irritate or even anger me. Examples of said noises are chewing, deep voices, typing on computers and most repetitive noises. Its beginning to affect my day to day life and I'm wondering what I should do!! Chewing is a huge problem as I have to leave the room if someone begins to eat, my family tiptoe around me and its a horrible problem to have.

I am currently 34 weeks is it normal for your stomach tonmake these loud growling noises? I just ate and I dont know why it is doing that.
