I don't know about the bowel movements. She has only recently been able to drink "gatorade", and keep "some" of it down. I am aware of the possible "dehydration", and I told her last night, that she needs to go into the ER. I will keep you posted.
When you repost this please include any and all labs and values you have currently, what the doctors have said, and what his symptoms are. Yes, unlike doctors we are very interested in symptoms. We believe that is the heart of auto immune and it goes so commonly ignored. I really hope you get some answers soon!
While in the ER they took a ultrasound and found out that I had appendicitis. I was in surgery later that night. I was doing very well after surgery and was able to get back to skating within a week. I started going back to ballet classes a couple of days ago and since then have been feeling really nauseous. I went back for a post OP today and they said that everything looked fine and that I should be able to go back to any physical activity that I wanted to.
Go to your parents and have them take you to a doctor at an er it could be a bad gallbladder or appendicitis or a very bad urinary infection. With that much pain and vomiting you half to start to worry about dehydration.
The Bristol stool chart indicates the hard stool is a sign of dehydration and the color and consistency of the “tail” is normal. While not being able to completely evacuate is not normal. I drink water regularly though. Even tried drinking more often with no sign of change. (Hard to do if your not thirsty). So what gives?
If its different then described it because I'm currently sick.
2 weeks ago, I had pains in my lower right abdomen, got it tested, its not appendicitis, but I figured out it was dehydration, cause I drank more water and it gradually went away, cause its been over 100 degrees here, but for the past 2 weeks I have had no appetite, no nausea, no vomiting, just no appetite, but yet I've been eating and drinking (drinking mostly) and using the bathroom as usual, when this started I wasn't doing too good emotionally, and I'm still not doing so good in
Exactly 4 weeks later I developed appendicitis and had it removed via laparoscopic surgery, the surgeon said it was "messy in there". I have had no other symptoms suggestive of HIV.
My concern is the appendicitis was due to lymphoid hyperplasia (swollen lymph tissue) caused from a viral infection (HIV) given it occurred so soon after exposure.
It seems a bit out there to consider them related however I do see it as a possibility, but was unable to find any studies to confirm.
4. Appendicitis goes with nausea, vomiting and raised leukocytes in the blood. Appendicitis is painfull at any time you press on area. Bouncing sign is present: lye down on the back and press deeply sopmewhere on your lower LEFT abdomen, then release the pressure quickly. In peritonitis or appendicitis you should feel a sharp pain on the LRQ area. Peritonitis would also show marked inflammation in the blood.

About a month or two ago, I believe I had strained some muscles while working out. The pain didn't happen right away maybe one or two weeks afterwards. At first it stemmed from my neck, shoulders, and upper back. Soon after I started to feel pain in my chest, both sides right by my armpits, lower back, and abdomen area especially on my right side. The pain is usually sharp. When I do sit for a long period of time, both my right and left sides hurt but more on my right.
An appendix is usually on the right side of your stomach and you will usually run a high fever with appendicitis. However, if you are still concerned, you can call your doctor and ask to speak to a nurse.
I am experiencing exactly what you described now today would be the 4th day... everyone saying I should be at the ER but I am terrified of hospitals. My pain constant in my back on the sides like the flank area and that's a constant dull ache it radiates to my abdominal but there's a sharp pain that goes straight through to the back Right side of abdomen two inches from my naval ...
I have contact nausea and slight unsteadiness. I have had a CT of my head and a ECG of my heart to rule out anything extremely serious.
At times the nausea gets soo bad i feel like i may faint.
Also the pains in my abdomen seem to get worse when i eat or after a night out drinking. Then the pain gets very sharp and spreads to the left side and lower left of the back, i get hit by a sudden feeling of weakness and have to lie down.
now i am developing the same pain again after about 20 hours, so i want to ask can it be appendicitis even if ultrasound doesnt show it? one of my friend got operated last month, she was having the same pain but ultrasound didnt show anything even then she got operated n now is fine!
30 am with bad stomach pain (top middle), bloating, and gas. I went the the ER about 6 hours later and received indigestion meds. I felt much better outside of mild abdominal discomfort from gas still. Now the next day my lower right stomach is pretty tender, nowhere else, just lower right side. Should I be worried about appendicitis? Could it be tender from extreme gas and bloating?

Last night I started having a dull pain on the right side of my abdomen, across from my belly button, it went away today but came back around lunch time. It went away again and now at 2am it has come back. I pressed on my stomach a bit and it send a shooting pain through my belly button area. Its not SUPER painful, just more of a discomfort. I've also started urinating WAY more in the past hour and I'm not sure if its related but my knees began aching REALLY bad out of nowhere.
I just had to go see my ob for that and it turned out to be appendicitis! I had to undergo emergency surgery for it. This was last week. It was very risky being 26 weeks along so I would not take pain in that area lightly. They tried to tell me it was round ligament pain at first. Fortunately I have a wonderful ob who could tell something was very wrong. He had a surgeon and a whole team on standby for me.
d been suffering from a fever, lower/midline abdominal pain on my right side, and severe diarrhea for several days, and was told by my doctor to go to the ER to rule out appendicitis. Besides my signs/symptoms, the only abnormal finding was a slightly enlarged appendix in the ultrasound and CT. I was told to keep an eye out for things, and to go back asap if things got worse- which they likely would within a reasonably short amount of time.
As soon as she left the bedside, I told my ex I still thought it was appendicitis. The surgeon got there and heard the story, saw the white count, and examined him. He said it was gangrenous appendicitis and started an IV. Then after 6 hours or something he took out his appendix.
So yeah, it can be confusing sometimes. The thing they most often confuse it with is diverticulitis. That can be even worse than appendicitis though.
With my last pregnancy i was put in the hospital 3 times for dehydration. Thankfully my boyfriends mother went out and got me saltines and gingerale and i have been able to hold that down. When my mother comes to get my daughter for the weekend so i can rest and not have to worry or stress and so i can hopefully go to work she is bringing me Pedialyte pops... i guess they are mainly used for babies when they gets sick so they dont dehydrate u am going to try those.
I suggest u start drinking a loooot of water and now. I got dehydrated at 28 weeks and started vomiting and got severe diarrhea and about a couple hours later i couldn't take it and went to the e.r. turns out my dehydration threw me into labor bcus i was contracting and 3 cm dilated they stopped it and gave me steroid shots for the baby.
