Hot tap water is usually hot enough, and cool it down with cold if you have to.
help with my beagle, she,s had been on antibiotics from surgery on leg , she has now developed irritation in skin folds around the vulva ....red and swollen pretty sure its yeast infection/fungal just wondering can I use human products like canestan/clotrimozole cream on that area.. would it hurt her if she licked the cream. I am taking her to the vet on Monday but in the meantime I would like to try ease the discomfort she is constantly licking the area.
I don't think they have antibiotics in liquid form only supplement and vitamins. I believe if it is a fluid they have to give it thru an I'V.

At first I thought maybe it was from handling something in there.I was purchasing something called "Nature's Miracle" which is a product used to clean up cat urine stains and odor. I bought about 6 bottles of the stuff and I have been treating the carpet in my spare room ever since.
Mothers who have breast feed before, do you get a lot of milk supply to freeze or is it hard to get any extra?
They say take a weekend and just snuggle with baby, rest, drink water and feed baby or pump as often as possible and the supply should increase. I do know that when you start supplementing with formula your supply goes down anyways. But if formula ends up being the result that's just fine too, as long as baby is healthy.
Can you open a capsule with amoxicillin or ciproflaxin and mix water with it and give it to a kitty with an upper respiratory. Or can you sprinkle it on some canned food?
What helped me drink extra water was actually logging how many oz I drink in a day. I found an app called "water log" to keep tabs on how much. I do that plus I have a cup where on the sides tells me how much water I drink. I've gone from drinking about 30-40 oz all the way up to over 100 oz. It has all so helped my colostrum come in.
I have a slight pain at the point where the head of my penis and the shaft meet. It feels somewhat like a cavity does and I only notice it when I'm in the shower; once the water hits the area directly. There is no inflamation, bumps, pus, burning urination. It's the only symptom. I've had an STD panel done and all negative. I was prescribed two different steroid creams to use but the pain still exists.

Fungicide is just another word for antibiotic -- meaning it kills living things. Iodine is a very potent antibiotic, and is just as effective as chlorine if we wanted to use it to protect our water supply. The reason we don't is that iodine is toxic to the thyroid in large doses, so it's harder to use safely, though chlorine is toxic enough to people. Iodine would actually be safer, and many have advocated for its use.
I used it too long...2 days in a row and couple hours each. But this was better than the antibiotics for me. They made me really sick. I had mestitis twice, with different babies. Best wishes...
Have you tried washing him down with ice water? Some use lots of rags, wet them in a little tub & lay them on his body. Then repeat. Or put him in a bath tub with cold, cold water in it & wash him off.

My doc told me to try and drink 3-4 32oz cups of water a day. As it gets hotter to try and at least add another 32oz to it. I'm due in Aug, and I feel as though I live in the bathroom!
t have your baby in 16 hours after your water breaking they will say you need antibiotics because the risk for infection. But as long as you don't have a lot of cervical checks you will be fine. Also they will probably want to put you on pitocin. But you don't have to do anything you don't want to. This is coming from experience with my first. I had my baby 26 hours AFTER my water broke, no pitocin, no antibiotics, no epidural. My birth story is on my journal entries.
