Avatar m tn It appears any odd growth is classified as a cancer, but it might just be something else, like mycoplasma colonies. No money for the surgeons if antibiotics or a simple plant will kill them. Right here on this forum I read of people with thyroid problems, had it removed, visual problems, had several operations, had gallbladder problems, had it removed. I feel so much for them, for often what has been removed are organs necessary to completely heal.
Avatar f tn I had the final stage of root canal 4 days ago. Today is the 4th days. Within 24 hours after the final stage, my tooth is having constant dull ache and sometimes throbbing if I move too sudden. One the second day, the pain is still there but it is lessen as I took painkillers. Went back to the dental clinic, another dentist gave me painkillers and send me off. We are approaching a wait and see method. On the 3rd day, I woke up with lesser pain even when I press on the tooth.
1308221 tn?1295634622 Lyme is a tricky disease to treat because it hides from antibiotics not only in cartilege but also in hidden cyst-like areas it creates inside the body, which protect it from antibiotics. (Bugs with a storm cellar, which anyone who has lived in the Midwest can appreciate. Ha.) Those cysts can be busted by certain antibiotics, but I'm not sure if doxy is on of them. Anyone got a comment on that?

John McCain, an old fashioned militarist, is on the floor of the Senate condemning Obama for abandoning Iraq. What else is new? What is happening? The Fall of Mosul and Tikrit, and the Likely Siege of Baghdad Tikrit, Iraq — hometown of Saddam Hussein — fell today. The Islamic State of Iraq (ISIS), a Sunni creation, took the city by force, just a day after they took over Mosul.

148588 tn?1465778809 Yeah, it sounds that way to me, too. It sounds like it could get pretty bad. I mean, let's be clear. It's already terrible in Libya. I mean, the situation is bad and getting worse without any help from outside countries. You know, you have this patchwork of rival cities and tribes and militias choosing up sides for a kind of national conflagration for the first time. That's already very bad.
Avatar f tn I agree with Gorbybelle's comments. I've never seen any studies as to why it supposedly takes a tick "X" hours to infect you. I also have never seen any statements that you can't get malaria from a mosquito unless it bites you for at least "X" seconds. Not logical in either case. That you are getting doxy and did so so very promptly is very good news. If you can get the MD to extend the treatment for a bit longer as Gorby suggests, might be worthwhile.

535822 tn?1443976780 As I said in another post...if the west gets involved in Libya, where does it end? It seems half the world is in some sort of civil war right now. All kinds of atrocities taking place..Syria is another good example. It's everywhere.
144586 tn?1284666164 I wouldn't say that means he won't listen. The president consults with the secretary of defense and much of what they discuss is done in secret and then decisions are made from there. That's the way its always been. The decision to send 10,000 troops to Afghanistan is not to be taken lightly as those are potential casualities (that is our soldiers) so obviously it will be a decision as to exactly how many troops to send and where.
518733 tn?1333017015 Kflex is safe- two antibiotics to AVOID in pregnancy would be- deoxycycline (spell?) or tetracycline, which are known to have risks. Otherwise- if the dr prescribing the antibiotics isn't your OB be sure to let your OB know that you were prescribed a new medication, they may have their own preference of what you should and should not take- and always ask the pharmacist if you are unsure about any medication..

163305 tn?1333668571 _ Members of the Iraq Veterans Against the War group are leading the main protest march. About 30 of them are marching in fatigue jackets and other service uniforms, many of them with medals pinned on them. During the march, they plan to symbolically hand back their service medals. Also in front of the march are three women from a group called Afghans for Peace holding that country's flag. - NM ___ 2:12 p.m.

Mr. Law said he has known Mr.
Avatar f tn re talking about a very particular period of American history, with a lot of tumult and people coming back from a war that many of their own countrymen thought was wrong and were saying so vociferously, while those in favor of the war were moving very far to the right based on already strong anti-communist propaganda in the US and a reaction to what they saw as runaway youth and a stark change in values -- something that continues today and President Trump still is running on.
