My feet, body and head go down two sizes when I take antibiotics. For awhile I went with the low dose antibiotics to keep me moving (American College of rheumatology uses it as first line of defense against RA).
Now I am convinced I need to high dose (think actimycosis) and treat topically at same time. When I take a shower or sauna my skin peels off. I can literally remove the inflammation. Or whatever it is that causes me to get suicidally sick.
I was on Doxy 100mg for about a month for antimalarial reasons, saw a slight improvement in my skin, and was then prescribed Doxy 50mg for acne indefinitely. I’ve been on this for about 3 weeks.
I have definitely noticed fewer pimples, but I still have the odd one here and there. I’ve also been using 10% Benzoyl Peroxide gel which I think has worked wonders.
I would like to go off Doxy 50mg to see if it is the Doxy or the Benzoyl which has helped my skin.
For A long time now i get these really big pimples on my nose. i rarely get them any where else on my face. as a kid i would pop them some lefts marks. some went away completly and some left bumps on my nose. The bumps on my nose are like pimples underneath my skin of some sort..kind of hard to explain.does any one know suggestions of how to get rid of the embrassing bumps on my nose and help stop pimples from forming.
After two months i started getting pimples again . So for a month and a half i had antibiotics again but they were completely not responsive. My acne got worse than ever before. I did not have systic acne but it was pretty bad . I had big red stubborn pimples all over my cheeks . At 17 and a half i was put on accutane again and the course lasted for six months . By that time i just turned 18 . My skin cleared up but i still have acne marks on my cheeks . I am off accutane since 3-4 months .
They do not seem like the blisters I see in the herpes pictures, but the open pimples do resemble ulcers. Since I started antibiotics, the area has gotten kind of itchy, which may be due to genital thrush (I have a history of getting this problem after taking antibiotics). I made a follow up appointment with the doctor six days from now, but I'm not sure these doctors are that knowledgable.

Fungal rash will not present as pimples and since the rash is presenting with sensitive pimples, it can be due to irritated hair foillicles in the area or due to herpes sores (chances are less). Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful.

who has small white pimples all over his nose and forehead? Is it ProActiv ? I got Differin from the doctor and used it for 6 months with no results. Is he to young to start to serious ritual? About two weeks ago, I started taking the birth control pill Cryselle. A few days ago, I started noticing pimples in my pubic areas. I know I do not have an STD. So i was places on a series of antibiotics and injections. but till now, i will see about 2 pimples, it hasnt cleared out.but the itching has stopped.
Best guess would be that you are probably feeling a lymph node that is reacting to the pimples--lymph nodes react to infections for a living. If you can get the pimples to clear up, the lymph node should then shrink back down. If it doesn't, I would get it checked out. Antibiotics from your general doctor may speed the resolution of the pimples.
Cortisone is not as useful as antibiotics, but if it works for you, you could try it. It sounds like the stuff on the back is more of a general infection, though. If you are going to use an over-the-counter product, try for one of the "sporins," like Neosporin or Polysporin. But if they are too mild or don't do much, see your doctor. This is not a difficult problem for a doctor, they see it all the time and know what to prescribe.
My acception would be Polysporen but Polysporen has only 2 antibiotics. I use Polysporen once a day for those pimples but I think I should use it about 3 times daily to see an effect. I can not find Neosporen anywhere which I would like to buy since it has 3 antibiotics in it to cure infections. As for what Paxiled recommended about tea tree oil, I will definitely buy.

Hi, since some years i've been getting pimples on my buttocks and it is really embarrassing for me. I come from mauritius, and in mauritius i never got this kind of problem. I was in the uk before and this problem started there... I went back to mauritius, there it stopped and now i'm in canada, it started again and even more. What can be done without going to see a doctor? Can anyone please help me out with some remedies? Thanks.
ive suddenly developed pimples on the top of my upper lip. i dont know what they are..they have puss in them and once i popp one another one comes up. I have no idea if this is normal. What can i do to stop getting these "pimples" on the top part of my upper lip, just below my nose?
However for the oral antibiotics,a prescription from a dermatologist is needed.But I believe that the bumps will go away after cleaning and topical antibiotics.

Folliculitis when managed using the right antibiotics should not last for months .Unless frequent touching or direct skin to skin contact is observed which may transmit the infection to other parts of the body. Certain activities such as frequent shaving and engaging in exercises associated with profuse sweating may actually increase the risk for colonization of the bacteria and eventually they may infect disrupted skin.

I have a dozen pimples, above my penis. Redness, in the same place. Pubic hair, is growing out of the white tip, of the pimples. I'm not sure what it is. Both my girlfriend and I are scared. She doesn't have it though. She's the only one I sleep with. Wondering what it could be. Please help me.
they are just tiny ive had them for a long time. and ive only slept with 2 ppl. they dont hurt and they have not grown. cant be anything serious because i have been seen by doctors quite often. but if you are worried then just go see the dr :) best of luck!!
Before I begin - thank you for your time. I first noticed a pain in my pubic hair area in the center of the left side only. There was no redness, rash, or pimple, but the area was sensitive to touch. I thought it was a bug bite. Four or five days later a group of approx. 12-16 pimples appeared of to the side of the painful area and in between my scrotum and inner thigh, in an area about 1x2 in. some of the pimples have formed a head.
