But she is suffering from soars on her legs and pains when she walks.

Avatar f tn Angiography is a minimally invasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. Angiography uses one of three imaging technologies and, in some cases, a contrast material to produce pictures of major blood vessels throughout the body.
Avatar m tn I have had about a dozen episodes over the past three years where I have a linear flash of pain in my heart area and then my legs seem to cut out and lose blood flow -- mostly when running up hills. This only occurs after an hour of intense running or two hours of jogging. I have passed all stress tests (too short in duration) and none of the scans can detect a bridge easily. Doctor is against a coronary angiography due to its risks.

Avatar f tn Well, I'm home from having had my CT Angiography of the brain and heart. Now, I just have to wait one week until I go back to the neuro to find out the results of it. The Neuro said my last MRI was the weirdest and unusual MRI of the brain that she had ever seen. The report said something about Vertebral Basilar Insufficiency and something about an enlarged vessel or something. My brainstem has moderate damage (Chronic Gliosis) and it didn't sound like it was damaged from the MS.
Avatar f tn I had an mri angiography of the head, due to occasional numbness that starts from tongue, and radiates to my entire left side of head and down to the tips of my left finger. I also had multiple labs, eeg, holter monitor, all were normal, with an exception of my angiography. It showed fetal origin of the posterior cerebral arteries bilaterally from the carotid circulation. It also said the basilar artery is small and appears to give rise to both superior cerebellar arteries. What does this mean?
Avatar f tn For the last couple of weeks my legs are always cold with chill bumps even when it's 75 degrees in my house. Sometimes they ache for hours. The only way to get any relief at night is to wrap them with a heating pad when I go to sleep. It's a miserable feeling and I have no energy, I'm tired all the time. I'm only 35 years old, what in the world could be wrong with me? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar f tn My Grandmother has been detected with a blockage in heart, and its not getting well by the use of medicines. Her Doctor is suggesting Angiography now. Her age is 81 by now. I wanted to take other Doctors opinion about this case.
Avatar n tn I waited on my fiancé during his angiogram, 1 hour of waiting and 3 hours of supervising from the nurses then home we went
Avatar n tn Her genral codition is now stable and doctor has now advice for angiography, kindly suggest whether we should go for angiography and depending upon result of it we should go for further process ( such as angioplasty and ByPass ) as my grand mother age is 78. Please suggest.
Avatar m tn Troponin T and Troponin I are accurate and are only released by cardiac muscle. If elevated, then they usually suggest angiography because there is a very high possibility that MI has occurred. Troponin also remains elevated for up to 14 days. Should you go for Angiography? Given the results of the test, I think the question is really "is it worth the risk not to have angiography".
Avatar n tn But she was moving fine, until 2 weeks back she had Angina attack and we got her Angiography done yesterday which revealed that her one of the artery is blocked over 90% near the beginning. Docs recommend her to go for Stent implant. Now seeing her past history of ASD,and low platelets count. Would you recommend to go for it or not? Any risks involved in that?
2143720 tn?1336229648 Second, the low end of the laboratory reference range is too low. This is why most studies underestimate true levels of deficiency. Many B12 deficient people have so-called “normal” levels of B12. Yet it is well-established in the scientific literature that people with B12 levels between 200 pg/mL and 350 pg/mL – levels considered “normal” in the U.S. – have clear B12 deficiency symptoms. Experts who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of B12 deficiency, like Sally Pacholok R.N.
Avatar m tn Moreover, I would love to shoot an email with the snap shot of angiography if some expert plz give his email. So that he might give me more insightful reply. Thanks alot. Waiting for .....
Avatar f tn Should I be concerned about a CT Scan that shows 30% blockage of arteries? I have a family history of heart disease on my mother's side of the family. Almost all of her brothers and sisters have had heart attacks and blockage. I would like to know if there is any other tests that I should have done at age 48?
Avatar n tn On the basis of this cardiologist advised to get CT coronary angiography. The result of the CT coronary angiography as given below: 1.Eccentric calcific in the RCA and distal LAD causing mild (20-30%) luminal narrowing. 2. No evidence of hypo perfusion or perfusion defects in the resting first pass myocardial enhancement. Now our cardiologists has advised to get catheter angiography to rule out further. Please advise me what should me my course of action.
Avatar n tn He was undergone a Treadmill test, a few weeks ago and the Doctor observed borderline positive Treadmill Test and suggested an Angiography. He undergone Angiography a couple of days ago and the report said that the Right Coronary Artery is 100% blocked. According to the Cardiologist, who performed Angiography, the blockage is old. But, my father has no pain (Angina), no fatigue and other common symptoms of Coronary Artery Disease. He’s perfectly alright.
Avatar f tn Cold and tingly arms and legs can also be due to peripheral vascular disease or disorder of the circulatory system outside of the brain and heart. Other causes of cold extremities are hypothyroidism, eating disorders like anorexia, Vit B12 deficiency, Addison’s disease, adrenal causes like pheochromocytoma, anemia, Buerger’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome and Raynaud’s disease.
