1530342 tn?1405016490 Everyone complains about their job now and then, and members of Congress are no exception. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/members-congress-paid-enough-165641960.html A few lawmakers have suggested in recent months that despite a $174,000 annual salary, generous health care and pensions, and perks for things like travel and mail, being one of the elite 435 ain't always what it's cracked up to be.
486038 tn?1300063367 They sound easy now but once you are sitting with the interviewer they can be very tricky questions. Try googling job interviews or the most asked questions in job interviews and I am sure that you will find some information on what to expect. Like I said before, you seem to have a good head on your shoulders and I believe that being yourself is going to be your best bet...act natural and DON'T CHEW GUM!!! Believe it or not some people do and it is such a turn off.

11852 tn?1216841443 The interview went great!!! It sounds like I have the job if the company wins the contract. Salary will be around what I'm currently making, which means a big pay raise since the cost of living is so much lower in the St Louis area compared to Northern Virginia. AND the job would start around March 15th. I am sooooo psyched!!! Anybody want to buy a house in Virginia????
359321 tn?1278268890 I say DO IT!!! Don't even think about the job, because part of the reason for continuing is that now you don't have job-related stress and can conceive a lot faster... Good luck, and I'll say a prayer for you.
Avatar m tn My job pays well, the benefits are kind of unheard of (contributes 10% of my salary to my retirement to double-match my 5% contribution), I get lots of time off (well, I'm entitled to it, anyway...), etc. But it's also a really, really awful environment with about a 60-70% staff turnover rate within the first year, and two people just quit and several more are desperately seeking a way out. I've been there 3.
Avatar f tn I had a blood test scheduled for Monday, but two days after hearing about my pregnancy my husband loses his job, today infact. I don't make much at my job it fluctuates on a commission basis. Anyone have any ideas what I can do, seeing as we now have no insurance. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Avatar n tn Her genral codition is now stable and doctor has now advice for angiography, kindly suggest whether we should go for angiography and depending upon result of it we should go for further process ( such as angioplasty and ByPass ) as my grand mother age is 78. Please suggest.
615752 tn?1361867986 s paid by the government here as I worked for at least 12 months prior to giving birth) which is 67% of my salary. My husband is also a researcher and was promised a job since last October and just signed his contract last Monday, really unbelieveable, it took so long and he devoted so much time and effort especially in writing research grants and worked at least 2 months without pay and has a part-time contract (expected to work practically full-time) and only for 5 months.
Avatar f tn My Grandmother has been detected with a blockage in heart, and its not getting well by the use of medicines. Her Doctor is suggesting Angiography now. Her age is 81 by now. I wanted to take other Doctors opinion about this case.
Avatar f tn I'm an insurance agent. It's based on IRS regulations, it's 66.7% (which it's two thirds) of your salary. Whatever you told your agent you made annually when you got your policy.
Avatar f tn I ended up just being too stressed at the thought and told her no. ( this job was a job I did for fun not to actually make money so she pretty much ruined that). My other job didn't even make me fill out paper work just kept me on and sent me a blank schedule. However it's a big company and they are always short staffed where I live.
1530342 tn?1405016490 And uh no, the union did not keep people that did not do their job, and my poor mother did not make exuberant amounts of money as some claim either. I would vote no on issue 2. Just my opinion since Ohio is my state of birth I have an opinion.
4867445 tn?1362610988 I recently began my new job and i have not told my boss about my pregnancy. My position is temporary until my probation period ends. Once a permanent employee, I will no longer make hourly pay but will have a yearly salary. I just graduated from college last year and this is a perfect start for my business career and supporting my baby. I am 6 months pregnant and NOT showing .
Avatar f tn oh I didn't know that at all. in the uk u get 6 weeks at 90% of your salary and then the government pay 33 weeks at £140 a week. I'll take holiday before thr maternity pay kicks in I think.
Avatar m tn Troponin T and Troponin I are accurate and are only released by cardiac muscle. If elevated, then they usually suggest angiography because there is a very high possibility that MI has occurred. Troponin also remains elevated for up to 14 days. Should you go for Angiography? Given the results of the test, I think the question is really "is it worth the risk not to have angiography".
148588 tn?1465778809 The latest wave of foreign workers sweeping into American jobs brought Donato Soberano from the Philippines to Arizona two years ago. He had to pay thousands of dollars to a job broker and lived for a time in an apartment with five other Filipino workers. The lure is the pay — 10 times more than what he made doing the same work back home. But Mr. Soberano is not a hospitality worker or a home health aide.
