I had a MRI from the hospital and got a CD, which has a viewer and images. Dr. showed me the pancreatic tumors (about 15 cysts) on the computer screen. I tried it on my computer, but I could not see very clearly, I have two computer with the display resolution of 1440x900 and 1920x1080. Higher resolution showed better images, but still less quality than what I saw in the Dr's office.
To see the better images, what do I need ? Better viewer software or better resolution display ?
Have you taken a look at the pictures on the disc? Usually the viewer is embedded, but sometimes you have to download a viewer.

Usually those files have an .exe file on them that automatically launches the viewer for the imaging program. Can you call the imaging place and ask them?
I have a bad case of artery spasms. The Dr. was able to get the spasms on video and pictures during an angiogram. The problem I have is that not just a portion of the artery spasms the whole artery on both sides of my heart spasms, the Doctors have said this is very rare and are trying to treat with medication. The meds make me very ill, and unable to cope with simple day to day activities. Does any one know if there is a surgical procedure or any thing else that can help this problem.

I know when they took my boyfriend to the Cath lab I was by myself in the waiting room and the nurse comes out to get me and says that the doctor should have already been out to talk to me and did not know why I had not already been talked to then he puts me in one of the counseling rooms and has the video of the procedure running and does not tell me anything else. So sometimes Doctors are just like that.
I guess because I was questioning him too much for his liking??...He then said he wanted to look at the VIDEO of the angiogram which was aat the hospital. His nurse called me in a few days and said" The Doctor wants to do an angiogram on your other leg on Tuesday"... I quesstioned her WHY? She said hold on...

I have just been scheduled for an angiogram and I'm scared to no end I have a 3 year old son I love to death same as my soon to be wife. I'm so scared something will go wrong during the surgery how coming are complications? Also my ej is 73 is this bad?
You better check with your doctors, I am not sure about the potential damage due to the radiation dose that you will take during the procedure.
Also if they discover blockages in your coronaries, I do not know about the risk of the medication that you will need.

My partner is having an angiogram after suffering chest pains a few weeks ago. NAD was found at the time from blood tests and ECG (done over 18 hours). Was kept in overnight. Had no discomfort since, but suffers from type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol which are all controlled and low due to medication.
His chest pains were 4 weeks ago and he's had nothing since.
my mother is suffering from chest pain now Doctor is saying to go for angiogram test?
Has anyone had an angiogram with the catheter inserted in arm or neck instead of the groin? I don't think I could take the groin without serious nerve spasms.
