Common Questions and Answers about Amount of glucosamine in monavie

glucosamine

Avatar f tn pdf With an ORAC score of 2698 and phenolics totalling 175mg in a days serving of Monavie, the nutritional value of Monavie can be derived from eating half of an ordinary red delicious apple. That is, if you’re prepared to overlook the issue of sodium benzoate which Monavie is preserved with and the price of Monavie which retails for $45 a bottle.
Avatar f tn He gained 17 lbs on that diet, (what a shock that was), anyway his vet had us change to dry food, 2 c in am and 1 c in pm. That seems too little to me. Tyson is not an overly active dog. Thank you for your time.
490183 tn?1361213953 I was wondering if anyone out there drank MonaVie while prego? Or, anyone out there drinking it currently, prego or not? I've been drinking it while TTC, and it makes me feel great. Since I've been on Prometrium, I don't feel the usual zombieISH, drowsy feeling while I've been drinking MonaVie. Who knows, maybe it helped me get my BFP??
Avatar n tn She is a physician, though not a neurologist, and has done a huge amount of research on MS. She has helped scores of us here, and probably many more who have not posted but who have read what she's written on this forum. It is surprising how many people who post here have had their disease discovered by accident. A couple were just trying out new MRI machines since they worked in the field. Others have had CT scans or other tests that led to MRIs being ordered.
Avatar n tn To start, you feed 2 chews in the am and 2 in the pm for one entire container. Then, taper to one chew in the am and one in the evening. He loves them and he's been normal ever since. They can get pricey, but it's worth the health for your dog. The osteo bi-flex can't be digested properly, it doesn't have the amount of vits they need, and it's just a waste of money. Use them for yourself and try they phycox. We've been using it for 2 years now.

441382 tn?1452810569 Ginger, thanks so much for your quick response! I am going to send DH off tomorrow in search of tablets that only contain glucosamine/chondroitin. His knees are really hurting him, as well, so both he and Kate will be on it as soon as he finds what we're looking for. I hope it works as quickly for my little family as it did for yours! Thanks again!
Avatar n tn I have serious Restless Legs Syndrome. Can you tell if any evidence that MONAVIE with acai is at all helpful?
Avatar n tn Has anyone tried using n-acetyl glucosamine in conjunction with their normal insulin regamin (UCI study in August showed it might help)? My 10 year old type 1 diabetic son (diagnosed in 2002) has been taking 3 mg of n-acetyl glucosamine each day for 3 months, and we have seen a reduction in the amount of insulin he needs of about 10 % and a "evening out" of his blood sugars.
Avatar m tn But an analysis of studies looking at glucosamine or chondroitin for osteoarthritis in the hip or knee did not show that these supplements slow joint destruction or relieve pain. It's kind of gone by the wayside. It was found to not be the wonder supplement it was once thought to be. Multiple studies revealed that they will not help you more than a placebo. However there are still ppl that swear they help them.
Avatar n tn Stick with it, it is in a class of its own. The person I get this from is great and they are very helpful. I know how people feel because I have been there, so if you have any questions on it I will ask her/him (marrried couple) or just email them. Best of luck to you.
161647 tn?1280608163 The only thing I can think of was that my mom started taking Glucosamine last year. Can the Glucosamine affect eye vision. Or does anyone have any suggestions. My mom is worried that there is something seriously wrong because the doctor said the next step is too see a retina specialist. Thanks for any advise.
Avatar f tn Im having pain in the L4 L5 area in my spine. It hurts to walk. Would glucosamine chondroitin help with the oain ? If so, how much do I take? What is the dosage amount ?
Avatar m tn 5 pound schnauzer and has been limping a bit after exercise. I have started giving her 500 mg of glucosamine a day and wanted to know if this is the right dosage?
1093971 tn?1257833640 What form is the glucosamine in? What is the total daily dose? Are there any other ingredients? What type is the glucosamine? How pure are the ingredients? If you’re considering taking glucosamine with chondroitin you have another ballgame. Since you didn’t ask about the latter I’ll stick to glucosamine by itself. If you search the Internet you’ll see inconclusive evidence of glucosamine having negative effects on blood sugar.
Avatar f tn I am a 62 y/o w/f. A few days ago I ate something hot. Later, I noticed that the tip of tongue was numb. I thought it would resolve itself but 4 days later, but 4 days later it remains numb (just the tip). Also, I recently started taking liquid vitamins and monavie red. Blood pressure is under control with intake of lisinopril. If the cause was from eating hot food, how long will the symptoms persist. It does not hurt, just numb. Any thoughts?
Avatar f tn Also, feed in tiny amounts every 2 to 3 hours, so the total amount fed in a day meets the intake volume for the breed and size of your dog. These smaller meals given 2 to 3 hours apart will help the kidneys, as they won't need to try dealing with a large amount of toxin by-products all at once. Tremors are not uncommon. It is usually due to neurological disfunctions - and weakening of the muscle tissues. Getting the blood values under control will help.
351404 tn?1299489130 If needed, calcium can be released from the bones, so the amount of calcium in the blood is fairly constant. If we go for years and decades with insufficient calcium intake, the bones can get weakened as they are drained for calcium. This is known as osteoporosis. If we do not have this problem (insufficient calcium intake or diseases that drain the bones for calcium), supplements are just expensive and unnecessary (= unless your doctor say you need calcium, why take it?).
Avatar f tn but for some reason my contact lenses have become very dry is that a side effect of the glucosamine??. I have used this type of soft contacts for a long time but never experienced this problem. Thanks.
Avatar n tn Obviously, the more those muscles are used, the more chance of them building up. But he sounds as if he is getting on in years, and has maybe slowed down generally? How old is he? And what is his general condition? If arthritis is causing weakness in his legs, maybe if you could alleviate the arthritis somewhat, he would be capable of more vigorous exercise? I would certainly give him a Glucosamine/Chondroitin supplement.
Avatar n tn I have a 3 year old shepard and lab mix. I have noticed in the last couple of weeks hat she is limping on one leg. This usually occurs when she is sleeping for a long period of time. The strange thing is when I walk her she does not limp at all and when I take her to the park to run free she runs very fast with no limping. I feed her a good diet, give her vitamins and walk her around 1 mile a day.
