1922425 tn?1322702653 Hi andream5, my husband is finishing week 16 today, so he completed incivek about 4 weeks ago. I would say his side effects since finishing incivek include itching (no rash), fatigue, some weakness/shortness of breath, fatigue, dry mouth/metallic taste in mouth, and insomnia. I think that the symptoms he is experiencing right now (post incivek) are very similar/identical to the side effects he had with previous two treatments. For the itching, he takes Atavan.
1246883 tn?1285547973 I immediately started to gain weight. And stopped the Seroquel immediately (mid Dec). I know this is one of the side effects. I gained about 5lbs. Being 5'9" and weighing 135, I felt the 5 extra pounds would come off with eating better and a few more yoga classes . But the weight kept coming. I got down to a dietary intake of about 1000 cals. But that mad no difference.
Avatar f tn ve seen what it does to my mom...anyone not have bad side effects like sleep walking, sleep driving or hillucinating?
Avatar f tn the white Zoldepam is 10 mg the ones that you were taking before were probably 5 mg i take the 10 mg and have for about 3 years i have had no side effects are you sure it is the ambien and not some other med i have had 1 perso tell me that they thought it was the ambien that made them sleep walk one night, but i do not know you mught look up side effects for ambien luck jo
Avatar n tn The other common side effects of Ambien are headache, dizziness, mental clouding, daytime drowsiness and allergies. Hence, it is advised you visit your doctor if you are experiencing any such side effects. The drug is considered safe for a period of two to maximum six weeks for the treatment of insomnia. If taken for a longer duration, one may develop dependence on ambien. You should discuss with your doctor about the risks of taking ambient for 2 weeks or longer.
2035835 tn?1336300786 My body adjusted to the side effects over time. But what it also did was prevent my body from sweating, and I still feel cold all the time. Also side effects from the medications. I didn't lose any weight unfortunately, I was kinda hoping for one good perk out of dealing with all the tingling. sometimes the sensation was so strong it was painful.
Avatar f tn those are some of them. There is very serious side effects that you should educate yourself on and ask a doctor before taking one. you where tapered off because of the serious side effects which include seizures, death, sweating, hypothermia, restless leg syndrome, and the list goes on! All I'm saying is be careful and ask your doctor if its ok. These symptoms occur with prolonged use and abrupt withdrawal. I just rather you be safe than sorry. Take care and good luck.
1375380 tn?1278892326 I just started taking Midodrine 5 days ago. I have the normal side effects, tingling scalp and goosebumps. Do these side effects lessen as you continue to take the medicine? It is really helping keep my BP up!
Avatar n tn But how ling before the feeling like you have a UTI side effect goes away? Mainly the tingling or burning when you pee.
Avatar f tn Weird skin sensation now like tingling and also some shaking. Maybe the shaking from anxiety? Just afraid of contrast side effects. Any side effects from MRI dye that warrant a ER trip?
Avatar f tn Is this a result of Xanax withdrawal, Ambien side-effects or sleep deprivation? It seems worse than anything I experienced during previous episodes of weaning off Xanax. I didn't have to go to work while doing this before so maybe that alters my perception somewhat. At this point I don't know whether to continue with the Ambien a little longer to see if things improve. (I've already experienced performing actions which I don't remember under it's influence.
Avatar f tn t have any of the side effects that some people report. Hopefully, someone with more experience and information can respond. Take care, dear, you are doing so well!
Avatar f tn thanks for you response. I didn't really feel anything but then again I'm not sure. I did fill it again and started yesterday. I guess I always thought I was taking too much meds. I have 2 dif meds for diabetes and I also take ambien at night to sleep. I have a hard time sleeping through. I just thought if I eliminated one med it would be that much less. I think I was wrong because I was in tears yesterday and at the store while I was in line picking up the celexa.
Avatar f tn As was stated above, there is an adjustment period with just about all antidepressants, there are side effects, but I don't think feeling like you're having a heart attack is a side effect that should be addressed by telling you to just take more Xanax. I also don't get the Ambien prescription. If you were having difficulty sleeping, the Lexapro and Xanax would have made you very drowsy. Your doctor should have been aware of that and held off on adding a sleep aid.
Avatar n tn Most of the side effects are dose related. Here is more information about the medication: http://www.drugs.com/topamax.html . Sometimes, dividing the dose into several doses throughout the day may help. Also taking the smallest dose you can take is best to avoid the side effects. Initially, many people have side effects, but after your body gets used to the med. it goes away (usually after a week or 2).
Avatar n tn Are you taking anything else? Seroquel at such a low dose probably shouldn't be causing those side effects. Have you tried trazodone or ambien or rozerem?
1218318 tn?1266808601 Hi~ I'm glad you posted this. But,sorry for what you're going through... I am not a fan of Ambien. Although I think sleep meds and anti anxiety meds have their place, not one is useful long term. Ambien has some very weird side effects for many people. I've witnessed this first hand. My Mom took it for a brief period until I flushed it!! She was doing some strange things in the middle of the night...anyway... Some folks need help with sleep,RLS etc..during withdrawals.
Avatar f tn Benzodiazepine withdrawal could be very dangerous and has high risks of seizures. Ambien has numerous side effects as well including hallucinations. You should consult with a doctor before managing any prescription intake of withdrawal .
Avatar f tn I never had the refill done. But I am wondering why a 10mg Ambien with 100mg Trazadone seems to work well with no side effects and just the Ambien CR alone made so sleepy & tired. There must be some explanation. Tomorrow will be the sixth day since my last CR dose and I'm just now beginning to feel normal like I did. I know this is long but hopefully it will help someone else also.
