Common Questions and Answers about Allegra x-12 manual

allegra

Avatar m tn I think it is okay to take 12 hour Allegra in the morning and 12 hour Zyrtec at night, especially if they are helping your symptoms. As long as you are not taking them together at the same time, you should be okay. However if you are concerned, you can call a local pharmacist and ask them. Hope this helps.

Avatar n tn My oldest son is on Risperdal,as well as three other meds. He has done quite well with Allegra for seasonal allergies, and even better with Zyrtec. Zyrtec is OTC but allegra is not. Both are well tolerated with Risperdal. Benaadryl is not good with Risperdal. My son, age 17, is zonked out when he takes both. He basically is out like a light and doesn't wake up in the morning (until about 12 hours later) the few times he has taken it. Not good at all.
Avatar m tn Around 12 pm I had a baowel movement. The stool looked... fluffy. Not diareah (-sp?) like, but spongy. There were two white things floating. When I looked closer I realized they were the allergy pills I took. It was Allegra D. Could this be the reason they haven't been working like they used to? I mean, they hardly looked like the outer coating was gone. Should I go to the doctor? Be alarmed? That was kinda freaky. I have recenty made dramatic changed in my exercise and diet routine.
Avatar f tn Its rather annoying and seems to come and go. As per my medical treatment, ive had a x-ray which showed nothing according to a pulmonologist and a breathing test (PST or something similar to diagnose asthma). All came back negative. Ive been on a few antibiotics such as Cipro and Avalox along with less powerful clyndamacin. Out of those the Avalox seemed to stop the cough the best and actually prevented me from coughing for a good month after going off the pills.
Avatar f tn I had the EBV Ab VCA, IgM test with result of 12 not flagged so I guess it was normal. I had the Mononucleosis Test, Qual with result as Negative and something called RPR with result as Non Reactive. I did have Mono in 1989. The reason for the EBV tests was because of my complaint of fatigue. I was told the EBV Early Antigen AB, IgG test was ok even though it was flagged as "High" because of the mono infection I had back in the late 80s. Is this correct?
Avatar n tn I went on a cruise in June 2010, On the last night of the cruise I came down with a cold or virus. I have had chronic drainage and a cough ever since. I finally got a chest x-ray and the results were slight hyperinflation of the lungs. What can I do for this constant drainage, I take zyrtec daily and it is not really helping me with my allergies anymore.I am 48 and smoked when I was younger but quit 18 years ago.
Avatar n tn electric swings are easier and quicker to use than manual, and you wont get sore hands either lol.
Avatar f tn Can taking sixty to one hundred eighty milligrams of Allegra make my kidney disease worse or hurt my liver.
Avatar f tn Check ur insurance but when I had my son I had to buy my own I got a manual cuz it was cheap and en electric for work and ended up using the manual fora yr cuz it got way more outta me. I could sit in the locker room and pump play on my phone and eat lunch while pumping and alot of times had the bottle overflowing in 10mins one side I struggled getting 3oz in 10mins with the electric.
Avatar m tn Well I have had Hashimoto for the past 10 years, and I also have had allergy problems and have taken Allegra D for the past 4 years. I don't think allegra had anything to do with my hashimoto/hypothyroid.
Avatar m tn I would try some OTC allergy meds like Claritin or Allegra. If you can afford to (sort of pricey at $20 for a 2 week supply) I would get Claritin-D or Allegra-D. They have an antihistamine as well as a decongestant. You have to get them from a pharmacist (behind the counter) and show your ID. I take Claritin-D daily for the same symptoms you have. I get bad headaches at night and my nose gets stuffed, with sneezing and runny eyes.
Avatar m tn No she does not smoke , we went through a complete health check up including a chest x ray and all parameters are normal , no history of lung cancer in family , we met a doctor and he prescribed taxim-o and allegra -180 for 3 days and now the cough has gone away , is there some other test or screening which i need to do for her?
Avatar m tn In the first place Zyrtec tends to make you drowsy and Allegra tends to perk you up. It would be pretty weird to take them together. I take Zyrtec daily and when my allergies act up I take a single dose of Benadryl which is short-acting. that works well for me.
Avatar f tn s when I decided to try the Allegra for the Paxil, problem. Just to let you know, I ended up taking 1/2 of an Allegra and the symptoms went away again. I woke up this morning feeling fine. The zaps usually start late in the day and are not bad. Just to reassure everyone....I have a doctor appointment Monday morning at 9am!!! I will not, however, take another Paxil! Thanks for all you help and input..
Avatar n tn I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I haven't seen a doctor yet(I'm waiting for my insurance to go through) I've been so sick that I can barely function all I think if is being naseous is this normal?
Avatar f tn Plus, suction was amazing and i could do both breasts in 10-15 minutes. I was able to pump enuf after he nursed for him to have breastmilk thru 12 1/2 months, but i stopped nursing at 9 months. Also, there is a thing called Milkies that is supposed to catch the dripping milk from the unused breast when the baby is nursing so you can save it and it doesnt just get tossed in a pad. I'll be trying that out this time.
1336491 tn?1340619541 I have a wall hugger on order that is due sometime in August. The one we have is manual. I had my husband add a piece of plastic pipe (2" wide, 12 inches high) on the lever. You can screw it into the wooden lever. Don't laugh (this is the artist in me!) I then pushed an umbrella with a big wooden handle into the pipe. I love reaching out to grab something I can hold on to and it makes it easier for me to push it back and forth.
Avatar f tn Hi! Congratulations! If you were my patient, I would advise you to take the absolute minimum medication that you can get away with during the first trimester especially. BUT having said that, Allegra is pregnancy category C which means that it CAN be used in pregnancy if the benefits out weigh the risks. Hope this helps!
Avatar n tn Loratadine is considered a placebo by many doctors (and many patients that I have talked to). Zyrtec and Allegra are good choices. Since Allegra just came OTC, it will be much more expensive the Zyrtec generic. I take Zyrtec. Take care and feel better. God bless.
