I was overdosed for 18 months or more on this medication (80mg instead of 40mg). I ended up in a walker with impaired mental function. I now have periferal neuropathy & severe balance issues. I need to know where I can find out if this is a result of the overdose or if it's coincidence.
I'd be interested to know what input you get about this. I have been having what seem to be allergy episodes -- nasal congestion, watery eyes, clear mucous -- for a day or 2, then it's gone. I don't use decongestants as I have a history of Afib, pac's & pat. My first episode, I woke up with Afib and ending up needing to be electro-converted. I am abut ready to see an allergist, as I can't identify a trigger. Is the omeprazole a proton pump inhibitor for reflux?

In the first place Zyrtec tends to make you drowsy and Allegra tends to perk you up. It would be pretty weird to take them together. I take Zyrtec daily and when my allergies act up I take a single dose of Benadryl which is short-acting. that works well for me.
how much is a laxative overdose? i have had 2 bottles of magnesium citrate, one at 6 pm yesterday and one at 4 PM, 2 dulcolax tablets 4pm, MoviPrep 32 ounces of MoviPrep and will be taking another 32 ounces of MoviPrep at 4 AM in the morning.

I have been on Allegra D all year round for about 4-5 years. Ok this information is coming from him. As I piece it together he stuck his nose in the bag containing a quarter ounce of coke and tried to sniff it all up. I don't know how much he got up there but for him to call me means it must be a lot cos I don't like him much

s when I decided to try the Allegra for the Paxil, problem. Just to let you know, I ended up taking 1/2 of an Allegra and the symptoms went away again. I woke up this morning feeling fine. The zaps usually start late in the day and are not bad.
Just to reassure everyone....I have a doctor appointment Monday morning at 9am!!! I will not, however, take another Paxil! Thanks for all you help and input..
ve noticed, while the internet CAN be a good source of information, including medical information, it can sometimes take time to receive answers - and sometimes time is not on your hands when you're dealing with medication. Poison Control can very easily tell you if the symptoms you're experiencing are related to the medication you've taken and what you need to do - whether it be wait it out, induce vomiting, go to the ER, etc.

Is it safe to take both Allegra-D and Zyrtec. In short, I suffer from allergies. I find that I feel best when I take a single pill of Allegra-D in the morning and a single pill of Zyrtec at night. In part, I have been doing this because I haven't had to go to the doctor (or Canada) to get more Allegra D so I can take it twice a day. I was wondering what the possible side-effects, besides fatigue, are of the regimen I'm taking? I've felt much better since beginning it.

Congratulations! If you were my patient, I would advise you to take the absolute minimum medication that you can get away with during the first trimester especially. BUT having said that, Allegra is pregnancy category C which means that it CAN be used in pregnancy if the benefits out weigh the risks.

Something alarming happened today. I took two allergy pills around 10:00pm. Around 12 pm I had a baowel movement. The stool looked... fluffy. Not diareah (-sp?) like, but spongy. There were two white things floating. When I looked closer I realized they were the allergy pills I took. It was Allegra D. Could this be the reason they haven't been working like they used to? I mean, they hardly looked like the outer coating was gone. Should I go to the doctor? Be alarmed? That was kinda freaky.
Benadryl is safe.
