I was then prescribed Nystatin oral suspension (3 bottles) and using it helped, but it did not completely clear the thrush. I went to my GP and he then prescribed Fluconazole tablets for me (50mg for 22 days). This has not cleared the thrush either.
Up till now, my thrush is still not cleared (since november 2010). I am afraid that it might have become very resistant to medication. Could you please advise me on what to do? Are there any other medications that I can take?

I recently developed a cough that contains a bright green mucous. I was diagnosed with a sinus infectiona couple weeks ago and prescribed doxycyline and a z pack. I started feeling better so I stopped taking the antibiotic. I then began to develop fluid in my ears and a stuffy nose. I took a decongestant and stopped taking my daily allegra. I seemed to feel better for a few.days. I've never had a fever or headache with any of this.
Not sure what the problem is, but when I use Allegra 120 mg things get calm down or even if I have a bath in hot water I feel comfortable. Could you please in identifying what the exact problem is?

Visited another dermatologist, she said the pins in scalp pain where my histamine attacking my hair, put me on antihistamines (allegra and benadrly). She also gave me some Luxiq (betamethasone valerate foam) 0.12% to use if i thought i needed it. She mentioned that I could double the dose of the antihistamines if required.
Well I have had Hashimoto for the past 10 years, and I also have had allergy problems and have taken Allegra D for the past 4 years. I don't think allegra had anything to do with my hashimoto/hypothyroid.

I have read your previous threads and understand that the risk of exposure to HIV and STD’s is really low considering this was my first experience.
If you perform oral sex with no exposure to ejaculation, is it in fact a no risk for hiv???

My son is 17 and having an awful time with seasonal allergies, Zyrtec seems to help a little, smae with allegra Benadryl helps more but he still looks and feels miserable.
His eyes are intchy and red and his nose is runny and congested at same time with what he describes as a "itchy feeling" behind the bridge of his nose.
why is oral a zero risk when other sites say its a low risk. and many other sites say symptoms that someone has

Genital HSV-1 sheds less than Genital HSV-2. Genital HSV-1 sheds about 3-5% of days a year. Oral HSV-1 sheds more. When talking about transmission some people go years before having transmission to their partner. For example we had a regular poster here who said it took 5 years of a very active oral sex life for her BF to transmit his oral herpes to her genitals.

In the first place Zyrtec tends to make you drowsy and Allegra tends to perk you up. It would be pretty weird to take them together. I take Zyrtec daily and when my allergies act up I take a single dose of Benadryl which is short-acting. that works well for me.
s when I decided to try the Allegra for the Paxil, problem. Just to let you know, I ended up taking 1/2 of an Allegra and the symptoms went away again. I woke up this morning feeling fine. The zaps usually start late in the day and are not bad.
Just to reassure everyone....I have a doctor appointment Monday morning at 9am!!! I will not, however, take another Paxil! Thanks for all you help and input..
Finally about 4 years ago(after a divorce) , a civilian doctor tested me for Hashimotos and it came back positive. My doctor put me on Allegra TWICE a day and it was working so well I was able to go down to once a day about 6 months ago. A few weeks ago I began having hives from head to toe again, and went back to twice a day with no results. I look horrible although they have stayed away from my face and kept to my body and limbs only.
Is it safe to take both Allegra-D and Zyrtec. In short, I suffer from allergies. I find that I feel best when I take a single pill of Allegra-D in the morning and a single pill of Zyrtec at night. In part, I have been doing this because I haven't had to go to the doctor (or Canada) to get more Allegra D so I can take it twice a day. I was wondering what the possible side-effects, besides fatigue, are of the regimen I'm taking? I've felt much better since beginning it.

I am a 17 year old girl. Recently, I've started to become very itchy, mostly like right around my breasts, stomach, and around like my pelvis and vagina. My scalp has also been pretty itchy. I'm not sure what's causing this. There is no rashes, just a little red from itching. The itching will last for a maybe 10-20 minutes at a time and then I'm okay, but it is the most annoying thing! Usually it starts when I'm sitting down or laying down, not really when I'm standing.
