Is it safe to take both Allegra-D and Zyrtec. In short, I suffer from allergies. I find that I feel best when I take a single pill of Allegra-D in the morning and a single pill of Zyrtec at night. In part, I have been doing this because I haven't had to go to the doctor (or Canada) to get more Allegra D so I can take it twice a day. I was wondering what the possible side-effects, besides fatigue, are of the regimen I'm taking? I've felt much better since beginning it.

Well I have had Hashimoto for the past 10 years, and I also have had allergy problems and have taken Allegra D for the past 4 years. I don't think allegra had anything to do with my hashimoto/hypothyroid.

I mean, they hardly looked like the outer coating was gone. Should I go to the doctor? Be alarmed? That was kinda freaky.

My doctor actually told me that allegra was fine to take as long as its the regular kind not allerga D. But I didn't take it all of the time... N my baby is perfectly healthy, benadryl is good to take too.U should ask ur doctor n see what ur comfortable taking Bcus everyone is different.

I was OK to take Allegra. Ask your Dr. But I know Allegra is safe as well as benadril. And claritain. When in doubt ask a Dr.

If you can afford to (sort of pricey at $20 for a 2 week supply) I would get Claritin-D or Allegra-D. They have an antihistamine as well as a decongestant. You have to get them from a pharmacist (behind the counter) and show your ID. I take Claritin-D daily for the same symptoms you have. I get bad headaches at night and my nose gets stuffed, with sneezing and runny eyes. Since starting Claritin-D, I no longer have that problem unless it wears off before I go to bed.

I'd be interested to know what input you get about this. I have been having what seem to be allergy episodes -- nasal congestion, watery eyes, clear mucous -- for a day or 2, then it's gone. I don't use decongestants as I have a history of Afib, pac's & pat. My first episode, I woke up with Afib and ending up needing to be electro-converted. I am abut ready to see an allergist, as I can't identify a trigger. Is the omeprazole a proton pump inhibitor for reflux?

You might consider switching to allegra or zyrtec. Both are safe during pregnancy. Sleeping with a humidifier and drinking warm tea also helps me.

The blister packs are to optimize the freshness, as the shelf life has been purposely reduced by half. That is also why you are required to refrigerate the blister packs. Sunythetic T4 hormones in the US have not changed their shelf life, so the blister packs and refrigeration are not as much of an issue. t know anything about that drug and I just want you to be safe when you get off of it. You see drugs like Methadone have a long shelf life in your system and take time to ween off. Drugs like my DOC, Vicodin doesn't have a long shelf life and is usually out of the body within 48-72 hours. I just don't know what category the drug your taking falls into. That's why you need more info. Can you get off this drug and have a clean life... ABSOLUTELY!!!

Worried is quite right about the quality of the test - maybe your clinic is using up a supply of older ones or they just don't want to spend the bucks for top shelf tests - anyway the hydro doesnt stay in your body like pot does - no matter how long you have been taking them historically........

Question is what do you think can be done and what I can do about stopping Allegra D; if I do I will have a sinus infection within one week or less. Hi, I am sorry about the trouble your hubby is having. I took two antihistamines during treatment. Benedryl and Allegra D. The "D" part is important because it is a decongestant. It is available as an over-the-counter drug in most states. However, it will also keep some people awake especially when they first start taking it. I took it for a long time prior to treatment and it doesn't bother me anymore but still. Your hubby should ask for help with getting some sleep.

Those of you that were told you had a miscarriage and the dr suggested a d&c (but was completely wrong) can you share your stories. What made you not go through with the d&c? At how many weekd did you hear a heartbeat?

Try Allegra I have acid reflux also but I have really had that problem but try Allegra its a non drowsy allergy pill you can get it a Walmart, Walgreens or wherever.

I have bad allergies which is causing the coughing and they said I can use Claritin, Zyrtec or Allegra. Claritin does absolutely nothing for me, so I asked what about Claritin D and it has been linked to birth defects--- so thats a no... I tried zyrtec and still no relief... my body is intolerant to Allegra... so I just have to suffer until baby is out and I can go back on my allergy shots (which will be after I stop BF'ing)--- the worst part about it...
