Is it safe to take both Allegra-D and Zyrtec. In short, I suffer from allergies. I find that I feel best when I take a single pill of Allegra-D in the morning and a single pill of Zyrtec at night. In part, I have been doing this because I haven't had to go to the doctor (or Canada) to get more Allegra D so I can take it twice a day. I was wondering what the possible side-effects, besides fatigue, are of the regimen I'm taking? I've felt much better since beginning it.
Well I have had Hashimoto for the past 10 years, and I also have had allergy problems and have taken Allegra D for the past 4 years. I don't think allegra had anything to do with my hashimoto/hypothyroid.
Something alarming happened today. I took two allergy pills around 10:00pm. Around 12 pm I had a baowel movement. The stool looked... fluffy. Not diareah (-sp?) like, but spongy. There were two white things floating. When I looked closer I realized they were the allergy pills I took. It was Allegra D. Could this be the reason they haven't been working like they used to? I mean, they hardly looked like the outer coating was gone. Should I go to the doctor? Be alarmed? That was kinda freaky.
My doctor actually told me that allegra was fine to take as long as its the regular kind not allerga D. But I didn't take it all of the time... N my baby is perfectly healthy, benadryl is good to take too.U should ask ur doctor n see what ur comfortable taking Bcus everyone is different.
I'm 14 weeks and my doctor told me I was fine to take regular Claritin as long as it's not Claritin D.
I'd be interested to know what input you get about this. I have been having what seem to be allergy episodes -- nasal congestion, watery eyes, clear mucous -- for a day or 2, then it's gone. I don't use decongestants as I have a history of Afib, pac's & pat. My first episode, I woke up with Afib and ending up needing to be electro-converted. I am abut ready to see an allergist, as I can't identify a trigger. Is the omeprazole a proton pump inhibitor for reflux?
If you can afford to (sort of pricey at $20 for a 2 week supply) I would get Claritin-D or Allegra-D. They have an antihistamine as well as a decongestant. You have to get them from a pharmacist (behind the counter) and show your ID.
I take Claritin-D daily for the same symptoms you have. I get bad headaches at night and my nose gets stuffed, with sneezing and runny eyes. Since starting Claritin-D, I no longer have that problem unless it wears off before I go to bed.
Its got me all freaked out as I have been having alot of vertigo, head zaps and other weird problems lately then noticed my pills are dissolving on me D:
Does it mean they been fake all along or bad batch all this time? I been on Valium for YEARS MANY YEARS and this NEVER happened to me. I store it properly as well i am so confused.
Again anyone have any idea why this could be happening?
I have a 6 year old website mix that has had struvite stones twice a year if not more since she wasn't even a year old. We have been extremely successful in dissolving the stones with s/d and antibiotics. Only problem is they come back. We tried c/d for over a year and were unsuccessful. Tried giving antibiotics every 6 weeks for a week and they still returned. She drinks distilled water.

Wal-itin D........contacted my Dr. and he also stated the same as you 'I would suggest not taking pseudoephedrine with metoprolol. It could elevate her heart rate. Loratadine by itself would be fine.
Question is what do you think can be done and what I can do about stopping Allegra D; if I do I will have a sinus infection within one week or less. I have been on Allegra D all year round for about 4-5 years. Also just in the past 7 months I have been experiencing an awful metallic/chemical smell in my sinus, once in awhile, some days I do not smell it.
I would talk to your doctor or midwife before taking anything. But the doctor gave me a list of oks to take while sick/allergies/constipation/nauseous and everything else and it says you can take
A. Benadryl
B. Claritin
C. Zyrtec
D. Allegra
But like I said. Ask your doctor before taking anything.
I recently developed a cough that contains a bright green mucous. I was diagnosed with a sinus infectiona couple weeks ago and prescribed doxycyline and a z pack. I started feeling better so I stopped taking the antibiotic. I then began to develop fluid in my ears and a stuffy nose. I took a decongestant and stopped taking my daily allegra. I seemed to feel better for a few.days. I've never had a fever or headache with any of this.

I am sorry about the trouble your hubby is having. I took two antihistamines during treatment. Benedryl and Allegra D. The "D" part is important because it is a decongestant. It is available as an over-the-counter drug in most states. However, it will also keep some people awake especially when they first start taking it. I took it for a long time prior to treatment and it doesn't bother me anymore but still. Your hubby should ask for help with getting some sleep.

Hi, I have let a few days go by without taking the Claritin D or the Allegra D, both of which I have tried to little or no effect. My symptons are no worse without the meds. I think it may be a mold allergy. I cleaned the entire house, under the fridge, etc. No mold. In the basement I sometimes get a little mildew smell in the heat of summer but it's gone now. I bought the best furnace filter I could find and also placed filters in each vent throughout the house.
I have bad allergies which is causing the coughing and they said I can use Claritin, Zyrtec or Allegra. Claritin does absolutely nothing for me, so I asked what about Claritin D and it has been linked to birth defects--- so thats a no... I tried zyrtec and still no relief... my body is intolerant to Allegra... so I just have to suffer until baby is out and I can go back on my allergy shots (which will be after I stop BF'ing)--- the worst part about it...
The doctors discovered it was allergies and I have been using Allegra-D which definitely reduced the problems. However, I still have this itch in my throat that won't go all the way away. I stopped taking the allegra and started using benedryll despite the drowsiness. I had been living in the area a full year and never had any allergy problems prior to the sexual encounter. I can't help but think that the sexual experience is what triggered these allergies.
They should dissolve not fall out.
I was not really sure where to post this but as it relates to my circumcision I thought perhaps I should ask it here. I had a circumcision 6 weeks ago, the wound has healed and I did not have any problems with infection but I am left with 2 problems.
I still have some swelling just behind the glands, it is sort of a ring of swelling, with one side being more swollen then the other. It is not painful but it is fairly hard and feels weird.
I do not know the size or the amount of gallstones as of yet. I am not really in pain, but I did have bouts of nausea, heat flashes, aches, my lymph nodes were even swollen, slight stiff neck with the slight headache. One day I had pain on my right side and under the rib cage. Doctors were baffled for a week but I kept pushing. What I do know is I was not eating and drinking the right things for my body and that is most likely why I feel like this.
