I'm not sure if their is anything wrong with me and I'm just scared because my sister died, or if I'm developing heart problems. I can't keep going to the cardiologist every 2-3 years. I have chest pains weather I take the Adderall or not and had them long before I started taking it.
At the time that it started I had been occasionally using adderall recreationally. I am also a heavy drinker, but have never had any sort of chronic head pain. The headaches that I've had never felt quite like this.
At the time that it started, I could hear a "click" in my neck when I turn it.
I am getting more and more worried that it is serious, and that is not helping at all. I am wondering if this has anything to do with the sinus infection or possibly a neck problem.
Hello! I've recently started taking 10mg a day of Adderall. My doc thought I had bi-polar but now seems to think it's ADHD. I'm 30 years old.
My question is: Have any of you experienced extreme muscle tension? Jaw, neck, upper back, etc... It's only happened once (I took it about 5 hours after I normally take it) and also felt really neurotic and a bit crazy. Do you think this is a sign I've been misdiagnosed?
I am really sensitive to medications. Adderall was like what I imagine taking crystal methamphetamine feels like. At least I felt like how those people looked.
I have been on Vyvanse for a while now. And was worried when they doctor said it was very similar to Adderall XR. But he promised me that the issues I was having with feeling ill, insomnia, and no appitite would lessen on Vyvanse. And that the nasty, gross stimulant feeling I got from Adderall would go away.

Carpal tunnel then 4 months later tmj surgery(my disks in both sides of jaw were deterioted). Then a frozen shoulder 8 mos later. Then the other tmj on other jaw had to be fixed. Horrible pain. Before new disks were put in I had severe ear pain along with no control when eating, talking or anything .Grinded my teeth so much am having to lateron try to fix them .Most enamel is worn off. I am currently in medical school and have been taking adderall for some time now and notice that when I am taking in caffeine along with adderall I experience muscle twitching within my arms, legs, and fingers. Previously to my arrival at school, I was checked out by a neurologist who performed a NVC/EMG and said everything was fine.
Vyvanse is metabolized differently, so could last longer in your system. It was done so you could not snort it like you can with Adderall. Adderall gives a stronger first "hit". V is smoother and takes longer to take effect so may not be as noticeable. Also the Dose of V should be 30mg compared to 10mgs of adderall XR to be somewhat equal.
ve had every test possible and I do see a psychiatrist who ruled out psychological cause and prescribes me Adderall for fatigue. (He's also prescribed me a few things to help me sleep, but sleep aids seem to cause me to wake up feeling even more exhausted).
I recently had a sleep study and the results didn't point to anything. Based on a pre-study survey my Epworth sleepiness score was 15. The report showed total AHI of 5.2, which I realize is barely above the threshold.
I don't put a lot of stuff in my coffee though, so I'm curious why coffee would make me shaky but Adderall wouldn't. I know they work differently, but I just assumed that Adderall was stronger and would have more negative side effects.
I also take adderall for add and xanax for anxiety. The reason that you are experiencing anxiety like symptoms from the adderall is because adderall is a stimulant. It is a mix of amphetamine and dextoamphetamine salts. It is a schedule II drug. Schedule I drugs are the worst classification and it goes down to schedule V. This is not uncommon, I have this problem as well. The question is can you live with the extra anxiety if the adderall is really helping you?
My college aged daughter has been on Adderall 3 days a week since Nov 2007. I noticed over spring break a small amount of acne (she had been acne free for years). Then when she came home in May the acne started getting worse. She upped her adderall because of training/games and a new job. So she was basically taking it almost every day. Her face broke out horribly. Worse it has ever been. I took her to two dermatologists. Nothing was helping. It was steadily getting worse.
I used to use caffine to pick me up when the adderall was wearing off but I notice this always ended up in a downward spiral until I stop the caffine for about a week and felt good again. Instead of using caffine to pick me up once the adderall wears off I just take more adderall now but not enough to get that PEP feeling. If you take enough adderall to get the pepped up feeling every day your tolerance will increase quickly.
Now my question is how does a 16 year old (or others of any age) abuse adderall? How exactly do they abuse adderall? How is it done? Im asking because I have high position that my daighter is not only "trying" to abuse her vyvanse but I think she also doing adderall and getting it off the streets (from friends she may know or known drug dealers). I can just see a big difference in her behavior.
I am a 48 yr old female diagnosed with recurring severe depression. When I am not taking my meds, I am tired, can sleep all day, am completely unmotivated to do anything and do not want to socialize with anyone. I have tried several different meds and am currently taking Celexa and Adderall XR. My psy says that adding the Adderall will "kick in the Celexa" and make it work better. I have a love/hate realationship with the Adderall.
There definately is a difference between Ritalin and Adderall. Adderall is stronger. For instance, if a person is on 30mg of Adderall and wants to switch to Ritalin,..you will need aprox. 50 to 60mg of Ritalin to be equivelant to the 30mg of Adderall. I am on 60mg of Adderall daily. I wanted to try Ritalin again just for the heck of it. I have shown proof from reliable sources, to my Doc that he needs to give me MORE than 60mg Ritalin for it to be effective as 60mg Adderrall.
My Doctor is working with me and helping me in any way he can. I have ADHA and use to take Adderall daily. I asked my doc if I could get back on it while taking Suboxone and he said yes and perscribed it to me again. My question is if I should be taking these two meds together or not? I know my doc perscribed them to me but I can't help but question if it's ok. Does anyone have any takes on this? I am taking 8mg Sub 2x daily and 30mg Adderall 2x daily right now.
It's basically the same as a Red Bull and all energy drinks. NOT a relevant solution or replacement for Adderall. Generic IR Adderall isn't expensive at all and is called mixed amphetamine salts or amphetamine, dextroamphetamine mixed salts. Something like less than a dollar per pill.
My son has been on Adderall for about 1 year. 20 mg am and 10mg after noon. He just started getting headaches and an upset stomach. Could this be from the Adderall?
i do quite alot,sometimes it is in my head,it sounds like someone playing drums up there it is so strange and frightening,i dont take any meds,i have had all tests done and everything is fine,so it is just me ,my heart also feels like it misses a beat and then dances around my chest.
