Im 22 years old in my forehead and all around in face have lot of marks,acne. I went to a Dermatologist and he recommended to use fashbar soap,dezor shampoo,adapalene & clindamycin phosphate gel and take 1 capsule of minolin 100mg but now my face is burning and get lot of oily also still there is no results to that marks and acnes what can I do now pls answer me?
Im 20 years old. I have acne scars and pimples . I went to a Dermatologist and he recommended me to use adapalene & clindamycin phosphate gel but now my face gets burning sensation and has got shine wherever I used that product. also the pimples which I had is turning into some kind of mark. I discontinued using after 10 days. Will it be proper by itself?
I spoke with a dermatologist about it and i left with a prescription for adapalene. After a month of application on my nose, the problem has not improved. I am having a difficult time understanding how the product could be working. Is there another product that i should be using with the adapalene gel? Is there something else that i could be using? I have noticed over the years that my personal hygene products have caused my hair loss.
i went to the doctor and i was diagnosed with having molluscum. before i was diagnosed i was sure that it was herpes because i felt a tingling burning sensation but by doctor assured me that it was molluscum. has anyone else has a tingling, burning, or itching sensation during their initial outbreak of molluscum.

I have recently been getting to know this guy and realized that he had rubbed my back where there was a molluscum papule. What are the chances of him getting molluscum from touching the papule? Well, I have two small children. Ages 7 and 4. My 7 year old got molluscum approx 2 years ago. The doc said to wait it out it will go away on its own. Fast forward two years later and now he has more and more. So I took him to a Dermatoligst and he treated them with a beetle juice that caused them to blister and go away. They scabbed and and became red. Some went away and some became inflammed and infected. Since we started the treatment, for every one we blisterd two or three new ones appeared.

Hello! So I was just diagnosed with Molluscum. I have tons of them all over on shoulder, arms, legs, trunk. I have within the last 3 months been sexually active with a few different women.
The Molluscum started showing up about a month ago and a few weeks later spread quite rapidly. I am not showing any other symptoms. However, about a week before the Molluscum appeared I did have an upper respiratory tract infection with a fever.
I was having unprotected sex with a previous girlfriend between February and June 09 and this seems to me to be a more likely source bearing in mind the incubation period. I had the original wart and molluscum frozen off. I have had no warts since. The molluscum have reappeared in large numbers in a variety of locations on the penis shaft, but are never more than 1mm in diameter since the original ones (2-3mm) were frozen off).
So I got diagnosed with molluscum a few months ago and have had some frozen off but I think a few keep coming back. My question is...do molluscum have different stages to them? I've been freaking out this whole time thinking I might have herpes too because I've had a few bumps that hung out for a few weeks and then became kind of pus-like (almost like a zit), and then scabbed over before going away. Can molluscum do this without treatment??
It's unfortunate that your provider didn't just send you to the dermatologist from the gitgo. urologists are better at "plumbing problems" than they are rashes. the urologist not thinking this is molluscum though is helpful at ruling it out.

You can squeeze a ball of white stuff out of molluscum. it looks different from what you would squeeze out of a pimple on your face though - typically it's on the firmer side.
Recently i have gotten cyrotherapy for molluscum only about four or five bumps in the genital region. I was wondering if i had to worry about contracting other STDS, such as HIV??
Friend 1 smoked from a bowl with my other friend (who has molluscum contagiosum) the same night. Call the friend with molluscum contagiosum friend 2. I heard that molluscum contagiosum can be transmitted through saliva, but I am not sure. Am I in danger of contracting molluscum contagiosum? The umbilications or depressions are unique characteristics of molluscum. If this is present ,then molluscum is highly probable.
Molluscum does present atypically .They may present as single large nodules or they may develop a stalk.

I had the virus molluscum contagiousum around my genital area about five years ago, and had them burned off. I've just noticed that I have the bumps again. I had molluscum treated about 2 3 months ago..there seems to be no lesions on the genital area...But when I used a cream for hairs..I had noticed that there is a small bump looks like a mosquito bite but not like the ones that I had been treated for molluscum...But still I am worried because I am having sex with my girlfriend and spreading that to her..is there any advice that you can give?

Hey guys. So I've come to the conclusion that those clusters of flesh coloured pimples on my chest are a manifestation of molluscum hence not an hiv related rash as I've past my 7th week now. The only problem is that molluscum is often cited in connection with hiv which concerns me a bit..they say that molluscum is more aggressive in late hiv infection and the like.
Then I consult to a dermatologist he told me that is Molluscum and recommend me to HIV test I am not sexually active .
I was told recently that I did NOT have impetigo, but actually had molluscum. The Dr. took a slice of the growth on my face and it was definitely molluscum. What are the best treatments for this condition? I've read so many things and my Dr. appears to be clueless as to exactly what to do. He's a great guy, but just not sure where to go next.
