actonel mouth sores

I am 3 years post breast cancer i had lumpectomy chemo rads i have taken tamoxofen for 2,5 years now on aromasil i had a bone density scan and was told i had low calcuim levels, now on calcuim sandox and actonel asked if i had osetoprosis and was told no have read around actonel and have not taken it yet as of the side effects please can you advice thanks.

I take once monthly Actonel. While I was pushing the pill through the foil blister, it broke. I did not take that pill for fear that it could cause stomach problems. My question is would it have been safe to take? Also, if I contact Proctor & Gamble, do you think they might replace the pill. If it was a daily pill, I wouldn't worry about, but I just lost a whole month of medicine due to a faulty package design.

The doctor who recently checked him out does not think this is thrush, because he could not see anything white in his mouth. I am not so sure about that. Since these sores, and he says they are not terribly painful, but very much bother him are a big deal, I am wondering what may help him, and also what this could be if not thrush. at the moment he refuses to eat anything but drinks only milkshakes and really cold milk. Any advice?

I have had mouth sores for 14 days .I went to my dentist 4 days ago and he did a mouth exam and looked at my mouth neck jaw under my tongue and the roof of my mouth and when he was done said mouth sores, canker sores but why are they so slow healing I have used salt water and anything you can think of. PS help what should I do I have also been to two doctors and they said the same thing.

The mouth sores are very common sx. The best preventive measures are: 1) drink water constantly, take glass or bottle with you everywhere you go and drink at least a gallon per day. 2) use Biotene mouthwash regularly and Biotene chewing gum to help sooth the sores. The chemistry of your mouth is changed by these meds and the Biotene supplements the normal enzymes of the saliva and the gum helps stimulate more saliva.

Well today April 3rd they seem to have cleared up mostly and then i ate a chocolate rabit and more of them appeared??? Is this mouth herpes, canker sores, allergic reaction? I am kinda freaked out about it.

Luckily, I had no mouth sores, just raw mouth, throat. I also used nystantin oral susp. for that, helped a lot. Yogurt also. Think that Magic mouth wash is the best for the sores (as Bobby said) Sorry your having a bad day/time. Feel better ...

Also the area below my gums, the crevice between the gum and cheek, in the 4 areas below my molars the skin is very irritated with sores and the skin over top of the sores is white and peels away. I also have sores on the side of my tongue, where it attaches to the back of my throat is red, irritated and white skin forms over it, but it peels away easily (like the crevices).

I used Biotene mouth rinse a couple times a day when I felt sores coming on. I think it helps keep your mouth moist so bacteria doesn't build up. When I got the sores in the corners of my lips, I used Vagisil. Sounds gross, I know-but it really helped. Yay for you on getting through this far!!!!

Sorry for not explaining better. I have zovarix for cold sores. I am talking about the sores inside the mouth. I get those bumps on my tongue and I have an ulcer type sore on the inside of my tongue toward the back that makes it very hard to talk.

I've seen posts from others who get sores/ulcers in the mouth. I've been getting them rather badly. Sometimes, if I rinse my mouth with listerine a couple times/day, they will go away in a day or two, but now I've got one that isn't leaving. I do have a denture and I thought at first that's what was causing the sore, but I think not. It's getting harder every day to eat anything but soft food -- well, that would be good for the weight, but not very healthy.

I also take Seraquel. Recently I have been having a terrible problem with sores in my mouth and inside my ears itch. I have never had mouth sores before but recently I can't get rid of them. They get better and worse but never leave entirely. Also my throat has a chronic mild sore feeling. The throat problem is nothing really bad but its there and never changes for the better or worse.

ve had fever blisters on both sides of my mouth, sores in both nostrils and my tongue is raw and burning, I can hardly eat or drink anything. I go to see my dr. this Friday, but has anyone else had these problems and what did you do to treat it? Thanks to everyone in this community. I've found lots of helpful posts.

m doing pretty well except mouth sores ( on both sides of my tongue most of them). Anyone has good suggestions how to minimums the pain when eating.

I am in week 5 of triple TX with INCIVEK, Riba and Peg, yesterday I starting having sores inside my mouth and in the corners of my lips. Today I noticed a few sores on the side of my tongue. Has this happened to anyone else??? If so what did you do to treat it??

About 3-4 weeks ago dentist pulled a jaw tooth it got a dry socket then infection also had teeth cleaned , and new fillings on 2 teeth , for the last week my whole mouth is very sore to the point of pain have sores all inside mouth raw feeling and some blisters in mornings mouth is swollen and I have very excessive saliva , mouth so painful can hardly eat -drink

i currnetly am taking actonel for my bones the past 3 years and klonopin i per night and take alot of vitamins such as B compex etc. no alcohol consumption but i do smoke half a pack of cigarettes per day no other medical conditions known 6 months ago all my blood workups were normal . My first time ever giving oral to a guy, whom I know very well. And a few days later I recieved a cankersore in my mouth. The next day my mouth was so swollen and sore I couldn't talk. The next day it was still swollen as ever and a little movement in my mouth would cause bleeding. There was so much pain I would cry all day. I went to the hospital and he said it was just a cankersore outbreak. Could it be anything else? I'm very nervous.

re concerned, I would see a dermatologist for sores outside of the mouth - the ones in your mouth, are probably canker sores - if your dentist said they were caused by stress. Good luck!

Hello, In my opinion these are canker sores. Canker sores are small shallow ulcers that appear in the mouth and often make eating and talking uncomfortable.

Well that is if you are referring mouth ulcers to cold sores? And are they on the lips or inside the mouth? If they are on the lips they are cold sores and It has always been my experience to developed them when I am under a lot of stress, they never go away, I found that picking out 30 minutes of your day to meditate and relaxe helps. But if they they are inside the mouth they are canker sores and swishing with warm salt water, and eating yogurt helps with that.

I am developing a few mouth sores! They really hurt more than one might imagine. Any suggestions for relief??? I'm on day 11 of tx and I'm not sure why mouth sores are a sx.... I am drinking much more than the required minimum H2O, so it is not dehydration. Any ideas out there?

can inside mouth sores be related to Crohn's flares? do gastro illness in general cause these?
