I am 3 years post breast cancer i had lumpectomy chemo rads i have taken tamoxofen for 2,5 years now on aromasil i had a bone density scan and was told i had low calcuim levels, now on calcuim sandox and actonel asked if i had osetoprosis and was told no have read around actonel and have not taken it yet as of the side effects please can you advice thanks.

He actually called not long afterward to tell me I have a small stone and a lesion on my left kidney (probably the only place on me I have no symptoms). He does not think this is causing my abdominal issues but I think he is ordering an MRI and referring me to a urologist, or maybe the urologist will order the MRI. Actually, I've had a burning pain on the right side of my back, over my rib area, but think it is a nerve issue. Now, I'm worried. Should I be?

I take once monthly Actonel. While I was pushing the pill through the foil blister, it broke. I did not take that pill for fear that it could cause stomach problems. My question is would it have been safe to take? Also, if I contact Proctor & Gamble, do you think they might replace the pill. If it was a daily pill, I wouldn't worry about, but I just lost a whole month of medicine due to a faulty package design.

i currnetly am taking actonel for my bones the past 3 years and klonopin i per night and take alot of vitamins such as B compex etc. no alcohol consumption but i do smoke half a pack of cigarettes per day no other medical conditions known 6 months ago all my blood workups were normal . They found a 9mm illdefined Hypodense lesion Within the left kidney With Hounsfield units up to 109? Solid lesion is not excluded? Also no obstructing 2mm Left renal calculus. Abdominal Multiphase MRI recommended. My GI doctor does not seem concerned but has ordered the MRI and referred me to a urologist. I would encourage both of you to talk with his endocrinologist about looking into possible changes that can bring his a1c levels well down below 7. That truly is his best protection not only against kidney disease, but against other complications. If sugar levels are maintained at near normal levels, damage cannot happen.

She originally got sick a few weeks ago with pacreatitis, and when she recovered her lab work showed the kidney problems. We have been giving her fluids every other night as well as the epakitin powder with her food. Her blood report was better this last time.
