1310633 tn?1430224091 He look! Another program for the gov't rape & pillage!!! A note to anyone that invests in this program: Don't expect there to be anything there when you go to take it out. Not saying it's not a good idea IN THEORY, but just as the gov't raided Social-Security, so will they raid "myRA". Make it Constitutionally ILLEGAL for the gov't to "withdraw" funds from the program, and then I might think about getting on board.
Avatar f tn Also, just a more agressive treatment program might be necessary. Aciphex is a proton pump inhibitor. You can talk to your dr about adding an H2 blocker like Pepcid or ranitidine. There are also many natural measures you can take like probiotics, digestive enzymes, not eating food triggers (common ones are acidic foods, spicy, anything with caffeine in it), and raising the head of your bed 6 inches (pillows, foam wedge, or supports under the bed).
652864 tn?1251750596 Hi all, My insurance covers only one. If we are unsuccessful, it looks like we'll be paying out of pocket. I see some women on this board with 6, 7 IVF's...I would easily do this as many times as it took to be successful...but wow...we'd wipe out our savings. Have any of you done the integramed shared risk program? Thoughts? Thanks!!! and keeping my fingers crossed for a frist time success!
Avatar n tn The Vertex Free Medicine Program will provide telaprevir at no cost to people who do not have insurance, are not covered by other benefits programs, and have an annual household income of $100,000 or less. Vertex "launched a comprehensive patient assistance and reimbursement program to support its belief that no patient should have to go without one of its treatments due to cost alone," according to a company announcement. Avatar f tn My husband was originally on Aciphex, but placed on Nexium after our insurance stopped covering aciphex and he was miserable. Aciphex has always worked so much better for him. Finally, after a year of misery he's back on aciphex and so much happier. I hope it works as well for you.
1310633 tn?1430224091 The myRA is touted as a no-cost to employer and no fee investment option for employees who lack an employer sponsored retirement savings plan. However, the exact details of the savings program remained unclear until the Treasury Department’s newly adopted regulations. As such, a quick overview of the new regulations is warranted in order to better understand this new option for Americans looking to save for retirement.
Avatar m tn Which, incidentally, stopped when I stopped taking the aciphex. Shortly after taking the aciphex I started experiencing symptoms of GERD. I still have the GERD to this day - some days its worse than others. I connect a straight line between the taking of aciphex and the development of GERD. Is this a reasonable conclusion? or is there some other more likely explanation?
Avatar f tn pylori bacteria in the digestive tract. The irony is, if you have ulcers and take Aciphex alone, the Aciphex could make the symptoms worse. Clearly something changed after taking the antibiotics, and now your ally in heartburn control has become your enemy. It might be worth getting back to your physician on this one, since antibiotics can often be a "swinging door", killing some bacteria while making it easier for other bacteria to get through that otherwise wouldn't have.
335728 tn?1331414412 While I was in Newfoundland, the response I had been waiting for from the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) arrived. I have been approved for the Canadian Disability Tax Credit and what a program they have going! I will receive the tax credit from 2006 when my disease reared it's ugly head and took a huge bite out of my life! I also found out about a Registered Disability Savings Plan that really is too good to be true.
Avatar n tn Since then I am taking Acid suppressants such as Nexium and Aciphex as prescribed by my doctor. I also underwent Endoscopy and Biopsy, Abdominal Ultrasound, X-Ray and Blood test . All the tests came normal except they found H-Pilory infection and I took antibiotics and subsequent Stool test for H-Pilory showed negative. I am still having all the above discomforts which is going on for 5 months. I normally eat very healthy and I am following a strict diet since this problem started.
Avatar n tn Has anyone tried Zegerid? So far I have tried Prevacid, Aciphex, Prilosec,Protonix, and Nexium. Aciphex gave me bad side effects and Nexium made my reflux symptoms worse. Prilosec did absolutely nothing for me. I was successfully treated for H. Pylori in Nov 07. Since then I have been suffering from Water Brash and now heartburn. I don't know where to turn. My GI now wants me to take Zegerid(isn't this med just like Prilosec with sodium?).
Avatar f tn Stop eating any processed foods in packets for main meals (like instant noodles or packaged meals), try to avoid them as snacks as much as possible (no chrisps!), and try to avoid artificial sugar completely.
198506 tn?1251156915 I was diagnosed with silent reflux on 2/6/08 and prescribed Aciphex. The ENT diagnosed the reflux through an endoscopy I think it's called...he threaded a fiber optic camera through my nostril and down my throat. He said my throat was swollen and red and that I had vocal cord nodules. I had no symptoms of GERD and went to the ENT because I had a near constant feeling of throat contriction. A previous Barrium swallow showed no GERD.
Avatar m tn told no I am not fine, one area no concern, other area metaplasia, was I still taking the Aciphex. I have gone back on the Aciphex but am terrified after reading on websites that I did the wrong thing. Endoscopy only done originally because I had still unexplained/diagnosis following three days of diarrhea, cramping, dehydration. On antibiotiic, H pylori ruled out. History of GERD, hiatal hernia. Control symptoms with diet, OTC Gaviscon.
Avatar f tn Set your clock ahead an hour if it doesn't do it automatically. DAYLIGHT SAVINGS! I just looked at the clock and realized it's 12:13 AM and so I'm off to bed. Pleasant dreams to all!
961574 tn?1520648103 I posed earlier a question about attain ivf refund program, and decided this was actually a better way to ask for the results I am looking for. I am looking for a good refund program for IVF w/ Donor eggs. I am willing to travel to another state close to OH ~as far as 8-10 hrs~ as long as I can do monitoring in OH. Avatar f tn I've taken Aciphex for over 10 years for extreme GERD. Since all the new studues came out about it being so bad long term, I decided to try and get off it. I'm down from 20mg a day to 20mg every 3-4 days. I've weaned over the last 2 months, had horrible rebound and can't get passed this stage. I have bad stomach pains, diarrhea, nausea. I'm supplementing with Tums currently. Any helpful advice is appreciated. I'm ready to give up.

428886 tn?1217682034 Is anyone going through the Roche patient assistance program? All my paperwork is in to them. I was wondering how long it takes them to send out the medication once approved.
