what is the difference in Pepcid complete and Pepcid AC. Our vet recommended Pepcid AC for my dogs stomach. I have Pepcid complete, will that work as well.

I'm 18 weeks and I threw up last night because of my stupid acid. It hit at around 12 weeks and has only gotten worse. It started as heartburn and tums were magical. Then it got worse and worse. I got it so bad every night I couldn't sleep. I had to take Pepcid AC before bed just to hope to sleep. To add to it, I get Acid Reflux, too. The acid burnt feeling not only sits in my stomach and chest and goes through my intestines with a diarreah feeling, but also comes up my throat.

first I thought I am having acidity or gas and start treating myself with pepcid ac and gas ex. but it did not work.although when i take pepcid ac it gives me little relief for an hour or so and pain comes back when I eat something. Is this related to acidity pain or something else... so confused....

Try mylanta and drink lots milk. You can also try taking a pepcid AC about an hour before you eat. Pepcid AC and mylanta are both safe to take during pregnancy.

Pepcid ac (maximum strength) I tried everything else and it did nothing. Took pepcid 1 time and havent had it all day.

We have taken her to the vet who says she thinks it is nausea and acid reflux. We gave her 1 tab Pepcid AC in morning (as directed) for a week and she was non-symptomatic and then after stopping 4 days later became symptomatic again. So asper the vet's instructions we gave her 2 Pepcid tabs 1 in the morning and 1 at night for 2 weeks...again non-symptomatic. We stopped it on Tuesday and she is now symptomatic again on Friday...

My dr let me take 10 mg Pepcid AC and it helped WAY more than the Maalox, Tums and Rolaids. Hope you feel better and ask your dr about the Pepcid.

I was desperate to find a solution. Well I started doing research, the Pepcid AC I was told to take from many doctors, just was not working. Found out many people have this same condition. (I also was taking Pepcid AC for the 2 years I was having sulfur burps & waking up choking on acid reflex at night.) was reading in a comment one day to watch Dr. Eric Berg on YouTube. In his video he mentioned about acid in our stomach/sulfur burps & to take POTASSIUM CHLORIDE.

The pain isn’t excruciating but it’s just there enough to be all I think about. The gas and bloating is infuriating. I went to my doc and she started me on Pepcid ac. It seemed to help for about a week then stopped helping. I was switched to pantoprazole and that seemed to work for about 3 weeks but now I’m back to feeling bloating and crampy again. I am not sure what to do at this point.

So I've had absolutely horrid acid reflux. I'm just shy of 19 weeks. I've been taking Pepcid AC along with diet changes, tums and all the other things people recommend. It's only gotten WORSE. Come to find out today at my appointment, I have GERD. Sort of nice to know I'm not crazy or a whiny baby lol. The dr prescribed a new medicine I start tomorrow, but for now? I'm at a friend's house playing silly card games.

t sleep at night, he told me to take the 40mg Pantoprazole twice a day (morning and night) with the Pepcid AC and I take a third Pepcid AC during the middle of the day per his direction. He said it takes a while for the stomach inflammation to go back down.

Yup, acid reflux. Try Pepcid AC. It was a life saver for me and pregnancy safe! For me it eventually got worse and even with it I was vomiting acid multiple times a week, so bring it up with your dr next appointment. I ended up having GERD and am on a new medicine for it that is like a MIRACLE. Tums for me stopped working at 13 weeks and the Pepcid stopped at like 16 weeks. I spent the last 3 weeks crying lol so yeah. If it doesn't improve or get worse definitely tell your dr.

I brought her home and she still refuses to eat. I have given her follow up Pepcid AC at home and Cerenia tablet (pulverized in water and syringe) but she still will not eat. I syringe fed her 2 ml of baby food ham. I made her bacon and she won't touch it. I cannot get her to stop shivering (indication of pain). I don't know what to do. Going out now for Pedilyte and Ensure. Not sure if I should run her to the ER or wait it out until morning when the vet reopens. Any advice?
