Avatar f tn My 5 year old stepdaughter has to use a booster seat by law here, my 3 year old is in a toddler car seat and now with the little one due any time we have to figure how to squeeze the base and infant seat into there too. We have a 4-door Hyundai sonata. Short of taking off a door I'm pretty stuck on what the heck to do here. lol. Anybody else found to trick to make it all fit safely???
Avatar f tn m worried that not having a 4 door vehicle will be a hassle with the car seat and getting the baby in and out. Any thoughts or ideas about what kind of car you have and what you think is best??
Avatar m tn I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function. The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
Avatar n tn We've gone almost two years without a car and now, with less than three months before my daughter gets here, I finally have a place to put her car seat (: Sooo blessed.
Avatar m tn Benzos are a bad remedy for insomnia, as they interfere with the brain's ability to learn how to adapt to stress and interfere with REM sleep, and of course are addictive with quite a withdrawal kick. Although you only used it for a short time, people are different in how they respond to quitting -- it should be done gradually even after short term use if that use was continuous as opposed to as-needed occasional use.
Avatar m tn ve been having back pain and insomnia since my surgery 4 months and was prescribed Percocet. My surgeon told me to see a PCP for more Rx and I did. I went to a family practice with 3 doctors and 1 FNP. Two weeks ago, the FNP prescribe me indocin, benadryl, and retin-a(other). None of these medications helped with my back pain and thurday 12/23 I saw the PCP again.
Avatar n tn I agree about talking to the doc. You might consider melatonin, though. It's OTC, safe, and works well for some people. I've been using that off-and-on throughout treatment. Go with the lowest OTC dose, though. It's a natural compound and if the body gets too much it just ignores the signal. Also, talk to your doc about Ambien (lasts roughly 8 hours) vs. Sonata (lasts about 2 hours).

Avatar m tn There are a couple of "brand" names for the magnetic navigation systems, the one I am most familiar with is Niobe Stereotaxis and I believe the research suggests this system might have a slight advantage over the other one I know about, which is called Carto Mapping. Using this equipment does not avoid all radiation exposure with EPS, but it does appear to lessen patient radiation exposure in most cases (as well as exposure for the staff!

Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob.

102999 tn?1326855784 The problem with magnetic steerable catheters is the physician has no tactile feedback. With manual catheters, the EP can feel when he touches the heart wall with the tip of the catheter. With just a joystick, the catheter goes wherever the joystick is leading it. According to my EP, there have been incidences of the catheter puncturing the heart wall. In the year+ that I've been on here, I don't know of anyone whose had the magnetic stereoaxis technique.

Avatar m tn I am currently working on my thesis in navigation at sea, and a major part of my discussion relies on our ability to perceive objects at sea. I am desperate (as the due date is approaching rapidly) to know how long it takes for your eyes to adapt from fixing on an object up close (closer than 0.5m) to then switch to looking for something further away, anywhere from 200-2000m.
1831849 tn?1383228392 Bike MS 2015 East End RIde is in the books! With the help of some "creative" navigation Linda and I (and many other riders) managed to turn 25 miles into 30, but we are none the worse for wear :-) With the help of some amazingly supportive, and generous, friends we were able to raise over $15,000 for the Natl. MS Society!
Avatar f tn He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine. When I get to this point it is like the color goes out of the world. I watch people going about their lives and I feel like everyone is passing me by and I have this big thing hanging over my head. I want to be the person I was before.
Avatar f tn FYI -- this is bad for navigation and the layout stinks. Hopefully they will change it back.
