After a mud run this past weekend in Ormond Beach FL, I noticed a weird rash that almost looks like ant bites. Thought maybe stinging nettles or something, but the bites don't look like welts. They are irritating and uncomfortable, but I can't say they really itch or burn-more just they are tender. Benadryl and Zyrtec seem to do nothing. I'm allergic to dust so I usually take the Zyrtec anyway, used Benadryl spray. Nothing seems to help and they just look more inflamed.
i thought it was some kinda allergy but it wasn i went to they doc she said it can be ant bites or bed bugs.gradualy the thing started to shrink and instead left black ugly marks which are somehow fadin with the passage of time...but not fully vanished...
then like a month ago while i was sleepin an ant bit on the back of my leg and i saw it was a brown ant. next day my whole body was covered with the same rashes doc gav me a cream to put and somethin med to eat..
Could be what we call fire Ants in the US I have had them they are really painful,and you can go into shock from the bites,, sounds like she may be on the mend now, if the bites have dried up she will start to feel better ,and will get cooler soon.If she is still feeling hot it maybe a fever so it would be best for her to see a Doctor again, Good luck let us know how she is doing.
I was visiting my father over the weekend and now I have bites on my ankles and thighs, all the area where I had clothing (Shoes, socks and shorts). The bites are red with a white dot in the center. From pictures they look the most like the fire ant bit but I know if I got bitten as many times that I have by a fire ant I would have known. I did see once outside a small black bug, more like a flea but not sure what it is. I did bring my own sheets with me so I think I can eliminate bedbugs.
Hello, eight days ago i dropped a pyrex dish on the tile floor. i cleaned it very well. i have a 3 yr old grandaughter and a 15 month old grandson. today saturday i get a call from my daughter saying that the kids have "glass slivers" in their feet, the feet in areas are red, also painful. now, approximately 9 days ago i called my daughter at work and told her the playroom was full of ants, small ants. i even saw one on my grandson.
So about 3-4 days ago I started getting these bites on my ankles that itched and burned to the point where I would scratch them and they would start bleeding. I thought they were ant bites at first due to the fact I live in Florida and they are everywhere I step in them on a day to day basis. But now it has spread to both my legs just covered up and down in these itchy bumps then soon moved onto my lower back and upper and lower right arm. The bumps are pretty big about the size of a dime.
i have tiny itchy itchy bumps on my hands most of them look like ant bites a few look more like just red itchy bumps on my pinky there is maybe two or three red bumps together they almost look like mosquito bites. have some around my elbow and have some in the under arm close to the armpits. but i do have alot of these ant and mosquito looking bites on my fingers and palms.
I have tried to go without Zyrtec for 24 hours and my legs started to itch in white little patches (like mosquito bites) and thats when I know I still have it. Iam going to see the Specialist next week for the 2nd time to see my blood results, so will let you know how that goes and hopefully have a cure.
I may be blowing this out of proportion, but I have gotten these red marks all over my stomach and right side with just a few in my mid section. They look like a lot of mosquito bites or ant bites, just some kind of bites. That is the only thing wrong with me, nothing else visible and not even a change in how I feel. It still worries me though. The "bites" don't itch at all. it seems to be some type of rash but I dont have a clue. Anyone have any ideas what this may be?
My daughter brought her two little shitzu dogs to visit for a few days and had not treated them with the flea preventative that she usually uses, because the weather had been cold and she didn't think there would be a problem. Well, we had some warm days and the dogs brought fleas into the house. Both she and I have a bad allergic reaction to the bites and my husband does not. I flea bombed the house and am still feeling bites. I itch all over and develop bad rash.
It started as itching and then a few weeks later it was red dots then after about a month it looks like hives or little ant bites she will get in different areas at different times. She has been to 3 different doctors and has been told it was scabies, dry skin, dermatitis, hives, infection has gotten into the blood stream, by different doctors on different visits. On the last visit she had a biopsy and skin scrape and the dermatologist told her it was dermatitis, but it has not gotten better.
There's 2 bites on my legs that are perfectly 1 inch apart, I rarely go outside and I don't know where these bites are coming from. At first I thought they're ant bites but there's no way that's possible. My sister has 2 bite marks on her lower back that are also 1 inch apart. She also have 3 bite marks on her right shoulder that are 1 inch apart from each other in a curved line which scares me a lot. Her bite marks are more red than mine, mine is just a little bit pink.
