335728 tn?1331414412 Might I suggest adding as treatments for sleeplessness such as Amitriptyline and Zopiclone as well as some of the other prescription sleep aides that some people may take. I want to keep track of how often I require these aids to help me sleep so that I can report it to my physician. Thank you!
Avatar m tn i then turned to the internet and in between my repeat prescriptions id buy alot of zopiclone off the internet untill i was taking about 9 to 10 a night (im so ashamed to say all this) no one in my family knows or has any idea at all. about 3 weeks ago i was running short and hadnt ordered them yet and i was going to run out very soon. i panicked and ordered 200 more as soon as i could. now with the christmas period they still havent arrived so i havent had anything at all for almost 12 days.
Avatar n tn (I am not recommending that btw). Have you tried sleepytime tea,hot baths before bed, no TV in your room, no late afternoon sunlight, getting early morning sunlight to reset your body clock? Do you get plenty of exercise in the daytime?
Avatar m tn My doctor has said I can come off cipro and prescribed me with zopiclone to help me sleep but I feel like that didn't do anything last night either
Avatar m tn From March, 2010, I started to take zopiclone at the same time, the maxinum I had taken was 16pills/day and now I was taken 8-10pills/day. I found that I got weight loss, weakness, non stable mental all the days. I want to quit all of them but it seems very difficult because everyday I had to work for money. Could anyone tell me some good ideas to quit them? It would be very appriciate. thank you.

Avatar m tn t enough for you, it might be an idea to looking into prescription sleep aids as a safety net. I took Zopiclone for the same reasons as you-- I was sleepy most nights, but not getting the REM or quality sleep I needed. Zopiclone is best used once every week or two, when you're really behind in good quality, deep sleep. It helped set my body into a good routine; not waking up frequently, and reaching those REM levels that we all need to feel rested.
5093508 tn?1390543931 ll be out of before the end of the holidays, Zoloft, my anti-depressant, and zopiclone, a sleep med, which I had been using to help with my withdrawals from Tramadol and having less valium. The withdrawals are bad enough, without having to suddenly have none of those other 2 meds. I'm wanting to wean off all, but not this way.
Avatar n tn I've done this the past few days in various doses. I am prescribed Zopiclone to sleep, although the other night I required 3 x 7.5mg before I slept, which was on top of 2 (100mg) of the Sedating anti depressant Trazodone as well as having taken two Tramadol to help bring on some drowsyness and wind down that night.
Avatar f tn Do you have a prescription for these? I would suggest talking to your doctor before quitting these cold turkey. I'm sorry you're not feeling well and I think it's great your ready to stop taking these! Hopefully others will be on with more knowledge and can offer better insight. You're in the right place, though!
Avatar m tn my GP put me on zopiclone almost two weeks ago after involuntary methadone withdrawal (75mg to zero in 8 weeks). It does get me to sleep but am now concerned with the possible addictiveness of it. Am struggling horribly with withdrawal for the 1st time in 46yrs & been on methadone 18 years & used opiates the previous 7 years. Opiates addicts since 17. if anyone can help me I'd be so grateful.
Avatar f tn I have depression and post traumatic Stress disorder and am currently on Mirtrazipine, Venoflaxine, Quitiepine and Zopiclone I have been treated for this since my mid twenties, last year I had three small focal seizures which no pathology found. I am now about to start on Sodium Valproate increasing dosage initially to 250mg in morning and 500mg at night this is being prescribed primarily as a mood stabiliser but is thought to help stop the seizures.
Avatar f tn I am glad you are doing so well and no, you should not get withdrawals from zopiclone. Your liver should be checked with appropriate tests and followed for a while to see how it is doing. Otherwise, good job!
Avatar f tn However, this is disputed by one study of low dose zopiclone taken for only 7 nights. It found that discontinuation of zopiclone caused significant rebound insomnia. Furthermore when midazolam taken for 7 nights was discontinued no rebound insomnia occurred suggesting that zopiclone may have even more significant problems of tolerance and dependence than the benzodiazepines. After 3 weeks of use mild to moderate rebound withdrawal symptoms appear upon discontinuation of zopiclone.
Avatar f tn With the stresses of school, have increases my use of zopiclone. Was on 3.75mg, then 7.5mg and up and down when possible to cut back or needed because of stress. Finished my RX Dec 26 and have been without it for about 7 days now. No tapering. Symptoms have included rebound insomnia, intense anxiety that runs through my body and stresses me out when night time approaches. Nausea. No appetite. Depressed. Anxious.

Avatar m tn 30 pm and can’t go back to sleep unless I take an additional Trazadone and Gabapentin. Do you see any harm in that…….. or should I consider another sleep prescription? Thank you for your help.
Avatar m tn Right now I'm on apo-escitalopram and apo-trazadone but I like zopiclone over the other one and I have some left over from a past prescription. Is it dangerous to make the switch?
1634491 tn?1302410573 hi and welcome, i am not that familiar with zopiclone, but i do believe it can be addictive, and that it shouldnt be used with methadone, at least not without expert medical advice, someone with more experience will most likely be able to advise you, are you on a methadone program?
Avatar n tn I have taken zopiclone 7.5mg, remeron 15mg since late 2004. One year ago, I began sensing heaviness and vibration in my internal organ. Earlier this year, I had body check, but the dr said my renal, liver functioned well, except that my cholestral level is a bit high. When I stand up and walk, the heaviness, vibration feeling vanish. But when I lie down, the heavy feel reappear. Is there a solution? Is the heavy feel related to psyche drugs?
