zofran

1293887 tn?1332702847 Nausea pukey and heartburn from h-e-ll! I take rx for my ulcer which helps the heartburn. I puked on Thurs and was annoyed bc i thought 4 months of morning sickness was "paying my dues" but apparently not :P but I get nausea more often than I toss my cookies but when I do its an impressive gold metal performance as it launches great distances :/ and with the heartburn I get the acid that creeps up into my throat too. Luckily only a few more months!
Avatar f tn I'm 14 weeks now, and I don't know how to feel about everything I have taken. I've tried to stay medicine free but it's too intense sometimes. I take tums almost every night for horrible heartburn. I've been having to take Benadryl lately for really bad allergies. I had to take zofran pretty much my entire first trimester. (Yes, I've read the crazy "birth defects" articles about Zofran, my doc settled that and it's fine to take).
4250731 tn?1359154323 I had zantac first and it didn't help and so I got zofran and now that's not helping it ***** because my chest feels like its on fire
4601190 tn?1357338863 s the way the baby is laying. I experience it sometimes, and I am on heartburn meds and zofran as well. I know its suggested you lay on your left side, but you can lay on your right side as well, if it helps. Also, sometimes I get nauseous when I have constipation, if thats the problem maybe talk to a doctor about it, they can help. If you enjoy yogurt, activia is the bomb to help regulate your digestve tract.
Avatar f tn ve tried ginger nothing, and I was prescribed Zofran and given it through the IV twice no help, I feel guilty when I feel like I don't want to be pregnant anymore
Avatar f tn Try tums for heartburn they are safe during pregnancy and zofran is a b class drug and is considered somewhat safe during pregnancy but there also has been birth defects but if you can't keep anything down then I would take the chance. Try gingerale and crackers first before putting your baby in any possible harm but if you can't keep anything down I think it would be worth taking zofran to stop the vomiting.
Avatar f tn Well I'm 22 weeks and i still get morning sickness and i take Zofran.

10844008 tn?1414461825 All ive Drinkin today is water and cant stop vomiting 7x within the last 3 hrs, and it burnsss, ive already taken the tums and zofran no luck. I called my dr she told me to take another zofran and if i still continue vomiting then i need to go to the hospital for iv fluids. I know you shouldn't eat or drink anything while vomiting but i jus drank a glass of milk because im gonna puke anyway rather it be that then pure stomach acid. I seriously wish this on nobody. Thank you so much ladies!!
Avatar n tn It sounds like what you need is some phenergan or zofran. Great meds, and they KNOCK out the nausea. Can't say they help with heartburn.. But they should keep you out of the ER for dehydration. Talk to your doctor and ask them about those meds. They are PERFECTLY SAFE during pregnancy.
Avatar f tn For me fun helped me a lot. After I eat I chew gum and that helped me. I used to get heartburn even just drinking water!
Avatar m tn I've been on Seasonique for about 2 years now, and I've been fine up until this summer when I started having severe pressure in my upper abdomen right under my ribcage. At first, it didn't matter WHAT I ate. That was in July. I JUST got diagnosed with GERD a couple weeks ago after my second upper endoscopy. It's been a HECK of a year...well, my symptoms are AWFUL. Thanksgiving, I had plain stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie.
Avatar n tn Do try taking zofran, it really helps. I took it when i had a stomach bug, i was throw-up every half hour and had diarhhea (lost 3lbs in water in one morning) i couldn't keep anything down. Then i took the zofran, and i could eat bland food and rehydrate and i was fine. They alomst send me for IV fluids too.
Avatar f tn well I havemt yet but the sick feeling lasted all day all night and the next 3 days then I finally called my doctor! And they gave me Zofran and Reglan. 10909590 tn?1416437106 They dnt well zofran in my country for some reason...
Avatar f tn I drink every other day (vodka) have been for the last 6 months. I've always had heartburn and am constantly eating tums or taking Prilosec. This past week I've been vomiting everyday after drinking and have been vomiting acid. Last night was the worst. I woke up st 4am violently vomiting acid my throat and nose still hurts today. I did vomit what looked like blood, it also burned very basket when it came up.. also went through my nose. I took zofran an anti nausea pill to calm it down.
Avatar n tn I'm on the same boat once I hit 33 weeks my heartburn got really bad and nothing would help it go away I'm 37 weeks and it's about calmed down, hope u find something that does help.
7722569 tn?1409707842 its no fun but get a script for Zofran and Pepcid. Zofran is for morning sickness and is a life saver!! and Pepcid helps alot when its with Zofran bc it stops and prevents Heartburn. i dont think i would have my sanity if it werent for these two meds.
Avatar n tn For the past week or a little longer, my morning sickness has changed from being in the morning, to being at bedtime. It never fails, I am laying down in bed, and just get somewhat comfortable, and I literally have to jump up and run to the bathroom, barely making it in time. I don't know what I am doing wrong, or if there is something I need to be doing differently in my pre-bed time routine.
Avatar f tn Unfortunately, I experienced this my entire last pregnancy along with hyperemesis and I've done an entire repeat of acid reflux, heartburn and hyperemesis all over again (7days to go). I've been given every med on the market that is allowed in pregnancy and nothing has worked, so, I definitely feel for you. However, if you go to L&D depending on the doctor they may allow you to get a small little cup of liquid that kills the acid completely(dont recall the name).
12103503 tn?1423448886 If you are wanting any other ideas for medicine let me know. My paper also gives pain, allergies, supplements, yeast, heartburn, diarrhea, cold/flu, and a spot that just says other. Haha.
Avatar f tn Im 28 weeks 29 tommorow and i still wake up sick some days
Avatar f tn I had same problem with my first born what seemed to help for a while was go for a walk, take a long bath.for heartburn milk and custard(vanila) or milkshake.don't wait to eat till you get hungry.eat a lil bit.hunger makes it even worse.u almost there.
Avatar f tn Ginger root helps sometimes (they have capsules) but causes heartburn sometimes too. I took Zofran and I was great. No where near as much nausea and it doesn't make you drowsy like Phenergan does.
