Another thing is a possible bacterial infection. This can cause itching and discharge and it can also be passed back and forth between partners. If it is a bacterial infection you will need antibiotics to clear it up.

Any changes in the vaginal odor, discharge and presence of other symptoms may suggest infection and warrants gynecological evaluation. Vaginal yeast infection may present with abnormal vaginal discharge which ca be slightly watery, white discharge to a thick, white, chunky discharge; pain with intercourse; painful urination; redness and swelling of the vulva; vaginal and labial itching and burning. If it persists, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper diagnosis.

That does not sound like a yeast infection. Your OB will be able to help you find what is causing your discharge and discomfort and prescribe appropriate treatment. I always recommend that you bring any concerns to your OB's attention and not try to treat things at home. There are many medications that you should avoid during pregnancy your doctor is the best person to help you find treatment that is safe for you and your baby.

I have unprotected sex with my boyfriend and the past yesterday and today we had sex and it hurt, and the feeling it was like is when you've done exercise and the next day you're feeling a bit sore. Do you have any idea as to what it might be? Thanks.
Following my period, which ended almost two weeks ago, I have been having a really watery discharge. Literally, the discharge is JUST like water... it also has a pinkish tint to it and has a bad odor. I have to wear a mini pad all day. I have tried yeast medicine... didn't work. It followed my period but also started after I had sexual contact with someone. We didnt have sex but our genitals touched.
calf myscle aches, shooting pain in thighs during menstral cycle and after vaginal burning around vulva, itchy anus, itchy clit... Some white residue where clit and lips meet. Given topical cream for yeast infection, but irritation persisted. Itchiness never fully subsided. November: itchiness returned after sex, tons of stress and same burning symptoms as above which have been going on either 2 or 4 weeks (not sure if October episode really subsided)...

I'm pretty sure it is a yeast infection. The liquid part of my cm is watery and there are pits of solid pieces that look like ricotta cheese. No yeast smell tho and no obvious itching or anything. Last cycle at first I just ignored it thinking it was just a change in my cm.. at the time it was still white and creamy but had the pieces mix in it.. then it got worse.. more like it is right now.. watery with ricotta clumps... sorry TMI..
I also have sore lymph nodes in my groin and some dizziness. My discharge is milky with a watery, cottage cheese consistency and really smells like yeast. Thanks for your help in advance.
2 days later, I started getting a white discharge that had a sour smell, which was both clumpy and slightly watery, and dried yellow. The discharge would appear daily, mainly in the late afternoon or evening, at which point I'd experience burning and itching. In the beginning the irritation was mild but began to increase as I got closer to my periods, which started 4 days ago.
The sores have not gone away, but i have noticed a change in their size over the past 8 months. They do not hurt but are itchy at times. I also get a white, watery discharge too. Besides that I do not feel ill. I haven't felt flu like symptoms or anything, just discomfort in my vagina. I am planning on going to the doctors since it has been 8 months, but since i do not have coverage anymore I was hoping to get some advice first.
itching, burning, redness, swelling and clear/watery discharge. I had so much discharge it would run down my legs. I had to sleep with a towel between my legs at night to keep my sheets dry it was so bad. I tried over the counter monistat with no luck. I went to the doctor and had a test for yeast. The results didn't really show yeast but the doctor gave me the standard treatment of diflucan because of my symptoms. The problem cleared up a bit but before long it was back. I went back in.
Hi, I'm 22 and have been experiencing a LOT of discharge. It's very watery and it feels as if I have pee'd myself. My underwear is soaked. I've noticed my genital area has a more pungent smell of late, but not fishy or bad. Just like genitals... if that makes sense. The discharge changes from a bright yellow color to a reddish colour. I even had some blood when I wiped. I am taking the contraceptive pill. When I smell the discharge it is very sweet and citric.
Its like at certain times of day I'm really itchy and then I'll go a few days with nothing. My discharge is kind of watery, not thick at all. I'm worried about BV. I go for my first appointment on March 30th so I know I'll be checked then but, I read online that BV can cause a miscarriage...does anyone have any suggestions or has this happened to you? Thanks!!!

I'm 30 weeks and I had exact same problem and I mentioned it to my midwife and said I was concerned my waters were leaking so she sent me the hospital and I then felt quite silly cause although the discharge was quite watery it was thrush.
Okay, so I read through everything you had to say about discharge and how it is normal, and I have to think that I don't have a yeast infection because I don't itch and nothing is inflamed or anything. The thing is that I have a ridiculous amount of discharge (for me) and it is yellow and doesn't smell very good. Should I see the doc? I haven't had my period in about 2 and a half months due to the stressful life of basic training either, could that have something to do with it?
Bacterial Vaginosis usually has a discoloured and fishy smelling discharge. Watery discharge could be that your body is lubricating itself. This is normal when you feel "turned on". Best thing is to go and see your doctor and get a swab taken to identify if there is a fungal or bacterial infection. That way you will be treated with the appropriate medication/cream.
The symptoms are fishy or smelly odor, and a milky discharge. It is usually detected by doing a swab and testing for the bacteria. This is caused by many things, but if you are having unprotected sex, it could be caused by your partner. The vagina is lubricated with a base liquid, and the male's ejaculation is acidic. When the two mix, this can cause the infection. There is no over the counter medicine to treat the condition.
Well it was a yeast infection. But got some meds and it should go away! :) at least it'll stop itching,.
