Avatar n tn These products may smoothen out skin and also improve fine lines over the eyes and near the mouth. Vitamin E cream may be a good choice when used to moisturize. Also, using sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 during the day or during prolonged exposure to the sun may help reduce wrinkles. Drink plenty of water and use only a mild facial cleanser such as Cetaphil over the face.
Avatar n tn You may use a mild or light vitamin E cream over the affected area to moisturize it. Observe if the skin improves in appearance.
883279 tn?1244102594 Hi, if you would like to use a natural product to help fade acne scarrring or repair sun damaged skin, then look for an oil that has Vitamin E (or even break open a Vitamin E capsule and smear it into the damaged skin). My favourite is Jojoba Oil which is high in Vitamin E and suitable for all skin types.
Avatar n tn Moisturize the hands using a mild and light vitamin E cream to keep it from drying. Drink plenty of water and avoid exposing the hands to chemicals and substances that may cause drying of skin.
Avatar n tn A light vitamin E cream may be applied at night to help nourish and moisturize the skin. Use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Apply generously (at least 1 teaspoon) and evenly over the face and neck. Brush loose powder over the area to give it a matte finish. Importantly, wear wide brimmed hat or use umbrella during prolonged outdoor stay.

3946181 tn?1348719480 Hello, thanks you for taking the time to peruse my question. For the past couple of weeks I have had a small, slightly raised, red patch of skin on the underside of my foreskin near the tip. It doesn't seem to be blistering or peeling as I have been treating it with vitamin e ointment (which i apply to my glands after every shower as to facilitate movement of my glands in my foreskin and lesson the development of wrinkles as the glands grow and shrink through the day).
Avatar m tn Thank you for your response. I have been using gold bond powder on it after bating which is quite soothing, i have also set up another doctors apointment to get revaluated, just to be sure it is not infectious or worsening. I have also been semi-experimenting with things such as vitamin E oil and A&D cream to see if they help at all, so hopefully they will show some improvement over the next week or so. The calamine lotion also seems like a good idea. Thanks doc!
Avatar n tn Hello, The advertised creams have not proved in efficacy to tackle under eye wrinkles. For undereye wrinkles, botox shots and collagen fillers have proven to be very effective and hence I suggest you to consult a dermatologist and discuss it in detail. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps.
Avatar f tn Its never too early to start. Though stretch marks are near impossible to prevent, the elasticity of your skin will determine how severe of stretch marks you get. Remember to stay hydrated! Drinking water is the most important thing you can do... i also recommend taking vitamin e supplement during the second trimester to work from the inside out - this could also help prevent ripping during labor.

Avatar m tn But there is plenty of scar meds for sale over the counter. Have you tried vitamin E cream or oil? Are you also taking vitamin E?
Avatar n tn While there are gentler formulas with retinol that may be used as eye cream available now to diminish wrinkles, it is recommended that you talk to your doctor or dermatologist first for proper management. There are many available eye creams available in the market today and the specific cream indicated usually depends on the initial evaluation of a doctor. Take care and do keep us posted.
Avatar f tn As the hands are vulnerable, it is wise to use hand creams that contain sunscreens and moisturizers like vitamin E. Use only a mild and bland cleanser like Cetaphil to wash the hands. You may increase absorption of the moisturizer by putting on moisture gloves that may be available in some stores. And yes, drink plenty of water, eat well, get enough sleep and avoid prolonged washing of the hands. Here is a url which contains a list of products that you may opt to use : http://lesstoxicguide.
Avatar f tn I use vitamin E everyday after i shower
Avatar n tn im 8 weeks pregnant, is it ok to take vitamin e to help prevent stretchmarks? if so, how many mgs is safe?
Avatar f tn Ive been using st ives vitamin e lotion. I use it on my whole body. Its perfect for the dry winter too.
Avatar f tn Try vitamin E cream. Also, neem soap works well, but may be a little drying if you have dry skin. Maybe if you put the vitamin E cream on after washing with the neem soap, it will be moisturizing enough.
Avatar f tn I had a TT 9/25/08 and have been using just neosporine with Vitamin E oil daily. My scar is still raised and my ENT suggested using something silicone based (such as scar-guard) but it is so expensive I haven't picked any up yet. Good luck!
Avatar f tn I was using bio oil but that just dried my skin out. Right now I'm using sorbaline vitamin E and my skin has never felt softer! It's also very cheap. There isn't much you can do to stop stretch marks but keeping you skin well moisturised is good.
Avatar f tn I started out using cocoa butter with vitamin E, then Vitamin E oil...this scar is still tight and sore. I will try the aloe vera gel. ~10 weeks post op. Thank you for this post. Feeling kind of alone in this so I was searching for some answers.
Avatar n tn I suggest that you drink plenty of water. Take at least 8 glasses of water each day. Apply light vitamin E cream over the hands frequently and avoid prolonged exposure to water as this will cause the skin to dry and irritate the skin. The skin of the hands is usually thinner and more sensitive. It is also frequently exposed to irritants such as cleansers, detergents etc. Is this true in your case? Is there any underlying thyroid or hormone problem?
Avatar f tn Apply sunscreen with at least an SPF 15 generously over the face when staying outdoors. A Vitamin E cream may help soften and smoothen the skin. Whitening creams my be abrasive.Just continue to observe the skin. If this does not improve ,then other forms of therapy like microdermabrasion and even Laser therapy may be able to help.
