Also sometimes I have a rash on my face around my right eye. The skin gets red, dry and itchy. I've always looked very young for my age, and I'm afraid this condition is beginning to age me quickly ! Please help ! Any suggestions would be appreciated..
Avoid using any lotions and creams over the face for the meantime. Wash your face with a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Pat your face dry. Then apply a good hypoallergenic moisturizer over the area and see if this improves. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid. Also take an antihistaminic like Benadryl. If the irritation persists then please get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

For a long time now I have had burning and flaking on my skin on my face. It looks like white spores and flaking with slightly raised bumps. And very dry wrinkled skin. I taste soap all the time from tears from my eyes my eyes are gooey and my nose is too it's like shampoo is staying on my skin no matter how much I rinse. When I use a dark cloth to wipe my face the cloth has white film on it. What is this? What can I do.
I believe I scarred the top layer of my face. Its shiny, wrinkled, tightened, and damaged. I have scar lines that appear towards mouth when i push lips out.I clearly didn't intend to do this and have been pushing off seeking professional help since it happened because I have been trying to take care of it myself.. I tried using bio oil for a couple months, creams, some exfoliation scrubs. I ordered a popular exfolia microderm. Cloth off amazon. Now on day two of mederma.
around day 4 I noticed that the skin under my eyes had become tender, red and slightly swollen. Then appeared wrinkled and puffy. I am 47 so although I do have some wrinkles .... this looks different ...droopy sort of and puffy at the same time. Slightly itchy as well. Do you think this is from the antibiotic? I have been finished with it for 2 days now. My eye sight is fine.
Then the finger pad on my left ring finger because VERY sensitive and tingly, then the skin wrinkled up. Sometimes it looks like tiny blisters and the skin peels off. This has been going on for about a year. It seems to get better, then it's back again. I'm getting really freaked out about this. I am 31 with no kids.
' 'Sometimes referred to as “photoaging,” premature aging is the result of unprotected UV exposure. It takes the form of leathery, wrinkled skin, and dark spots.' You could read more about this at - http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/tanning/risks.html It would be advisable to consult your doctor if you have any of these symptoms. ' 'Sometimes referred to as “photoaging,” premature aging is the result of unprotected UV exposure. It takes the form of leathery, wrinkled skin, and dark spots.' 'There are two main types of skin cancer:Melanoma, Non-melanoma' 'Actinic or solar keratoses, is a concern because it can progress into cancer. A couple of things I am yet to find on here though, are to do with my hands, feet and face. Like many I experienced itching of the palms for quite a while and although that has gone, one thing that hasn't,t is how old both my hands and feet look. It is as if they both have lost a lot of fluid or something and have so became very wrinkled and loose. I am only 29 and this only became noticeable after I realised how quickly my fingertips would wrinkle in the shower, like I was an 80 year old man.
My face and eyes become unbearably itchy. I cannot bear to have a strand of hair touching my face and must slick it back off my face every day and night. At its very worst (which it gradually builds up to) my vision becomes blurred and double vision and cannot read or see details. The skin around my eyes has become extremely wrinkled - like a little old ladies with dark circles around them (I look like I'm on drugs).
My skin looks way older. My face is covered in a network of super fine lines which make my skin resemble brushed metal. Also, more pronounced wrinkles became deeper and harsher. Has anyone ever come across a case like mine? Nothing I've tried has helped regain elasticity or plumpness of any level. Please help. Do you travel a lot as even pollution on the road can cause skin problem, as the dust penetrates in to the pores of the skin, thus making it dry and wrinkled resulting in scratching.
Im 27 and I have suffered from acne for 14 years, which I still get, over the past 7 years my skin has transformed to an orange peel skin texture over my whole face as well as my skin always being red like im sunburned with scars, large brown spots and my skin has literary thickened up which looks scaly, wrinkley and lined and makes my face feel so tight I cant open my mouth properly. Any creams just sit on top of my skin and dont do anything.
The skin has a wrinkled appearance with fine scales. Pityriasis versicolor is a fungal disease caused by a type of yeast that naturally lives on your skin. When the yeast grows out of control, the skin disease, which appears as a rash, is the result. The spots may disappear during cool weather and get worse during warm and humid weather and appears as light or dark patches on face or chest which do not tan with exposure to sun.
4 years have passed, and I have notices that the sking under my eyes is very weak and red, is wrinkled and where the eye ends is ripped (more than what it normally should be). I would like to know if there is anything in dermatology that can help me!!?? I have tried creams and other natural products but nothing works.. WHAT CAN I DO!
I took that for about 2 weeks and noticed my face was heavily bloated again but this time my face looked sort of stretched in a way or flabby like there's excess skin or something. I did more face exercises almost every day for a couple months after but now unfortunately I'm still stuck with this "slightly wrinkled, flabby, hanging face" look along with still being toned out. My sister said it looks like I'm older or something.
I am so worried that I've caused lasting damage to my skin. Will this heal? Is there anything I can do to speed up the process? How long before my skin returns to normal?
(Restylane, Juvederm, collagen, botox, or Retin- A creams?) The reason I ask is because I've noticed that the skin on my face is getting thin and wrinkled, especially around my stretchy eyes. ( due to EDS) I know it sounds vain, but I'm just been tired of feeling like an old lady my whole life...I don't want to look like one too. :( I'm only in my twenties and avoid sun exposure and use SPF daily. is there any treatment that works to preserve our skin or are we out of luck?
for about a year now once in a while, even though i don't change any of my skin care patterns, i get severe wrinkled skin under my eyes and on top of me eye lids. It becomes unbarebly sore and dry also. It is worse then most wrinkles I have seen on older women! My skin on top of my eye lips; at the same time; droups down so it looks very saggy and is hard to keep my eyes open.
The hyaluronic acid in Restylane is called non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA) because it is not derived from animal sources. When Restylane is injected into wrinkled skin it adds fullness and reduces the prominence of the wrinkles in the previously wrinkled area. Hyaluronic acid also attracts and binds water, and this also helps maintain fullness in the area of injection. The benefit of hyaluronic acid may last for six months or longer.
It has been 4 days and the seborrheic dermatitis seems to have gone however my skin has become very fragile and peels all over my forehead. If I have a shower and dry my face and rub my finger across my forehead skin just starts to peel all over, I read that peeling skin is a severe side effect of 'Nizoral'. What do I do, should I just stop using it or do I need to go to the Doctor?
I understand that thinning skin is part of the aging process, but I suddenly noticed that the skin on my face has thinned dramatically and I'm shocked. I'm 35 and my mother who is 60 has firmer cheeks now than me. I have always had a firm face and I'm shocked to feel how it's suddenly softened (probably just in the last 6 months). Does anybody know what would cause this? I also have been experiencing temperature changes when I'm on my period.
I have developed a skin condition that will not go away. I have something wrong with my eyelids; they stay puffed, red, extra wrinkled, dryed out, flaky etc. I have a couple of spots size of a dime that are red and flare up and down but never go away. A lady a work yesterday said it looks like ringworm. I think she may be right. I have felt for a long time that I am covered in staph infections. My mom suggested antibacterial soap as opposed to dove that doesn't have it.
If the weather is dry and you are washing your face in the shower, in the morning, at night, stop. Completely. Wait about a month or two when your skin has healed, and then only wash your face, DO NOT GO OVER YOUR EYELIDS WHEN YOUR EYES ARE CLOSED! I went to several dermatologists had skin samples taken, took all sorts of prescription meds, none worked. And then I realized it was my hygiene causing the problem and I stopped. Never had this problem since, not once. No vaseline, no medicines.
