So, I know one of the symptoms for panic attacks is the tingling or numbness in the hands. I have had that tingling and then numbness to not only hands but it goes to face and other areas of my body. My joints in my hands lock up and my speech is slurred. My question is; is this a panic attack or a symptom of something else?
my inability to use my hands effectively is giving me some grave concern. I take Cymbalta, vyvanse,Lipitor, chantix and use androgel. If memory serves me I am pretty sure that most of these medications I started taking post symptoms.

Medicines don't seem to work very well, most effective are Lexapro and vyvanse. Theories of what it ultimately may be have been Generalized Anxiety Disorder, PTSD, and Aspergers Syndrome. Let me know if you have experienced a similar mix of ingredients. I'd be interested to know and can maybe even help if I'm a little deeper in the issue. Thanks.

I am wondering if anybody could give me a suggestion of a combination of ADD and anxiety medications that will be safe to use. and one last thing, i was thinking that the disscooration and numbness in my knees could be caused by the combination of my smoking habit ( around half a pack a day), and the efeects that ADD meds have on constricting your blood vessels.
I mean, I've always been heavy, but I've been losing weight because of the vyvanse and certainly nothing has gotten better. My blood sugars are perfect, so Insulin resistance is out. I had a vaginal ultrasound to look for cysts before my PCOS blood work, and I'm betting they would've seen a tumor on there. Possibly. Mistakes do happen, but for the sake of argument, lets just say they didn't make one. So, in your list of what it could be, Cushings seems to be the only thing left.

I was prescribed Topamax along with an appetite suppressant (Adipex) for weight loss a bit over a year ago and stopped taking them after two and a half months. I did not lose all of the weight I had wanted to, but most of it. I had gained 55 pounds while on Paxil over the course of two and a half years. By taking a combination of the two medicines, I lost 22 pounds the first month, 10 pounds the second month, and 8 pounds the first half of the third month.
96. I went and had more blood work done monday and still have not received a call from my doctor. I am just nervous and feel bad. I was just talking with guys at work and they never heard of men having thyroid problems, and then I check on line and it is rare. I was just wondering if anyone here knows of any men who have thyroid problems? and if my 16.96 TSH is something to be concerned about. THANKS!
I would go to your doctor and make sure you're still on the right dose of vyvanse. As you grow and get older your body and brain changes. You may be metabolizing it differently now. Also, make sure you're eating enough. You may be starting to grow and need more food. Especially since you exercise a lot, make sure you're getting enough calories. Just try adding some food for a couple days. See if it makes a difference. But I would definitely check on the vyvanse dosage.
Over the last couple of weeks, I have started having frequent sharp stabbing pains in my hands and feet and in the last week an increase in the numbness. Now I have some numbness extending down my fingers and in my toes. A couple of nights I have been awakened with pain in my feet and several nights I have had to sleep with my feet off the bed and uncovered because of burning. As far as the HCV is concerned, I have been in a sustained remission, but I am having some symptoms of relapse.
The precursors that go into the methylation cycle for SAMe, neurotransmitters, dopamine, serotonin are methionine, folate, B12, B6, TMG (trimethylglycine) and zinc, and maybe calcium and magnesium. This isn't a lot of info online about norepinephrine but Nutritional Healing has this on dopamine deficiency...
Anybody else suffering from this and had problems having doctors listen to all your symptoms, and just tell you to live with it? Any ideas? I'm extremely desperate, it is ruining my life. If you would like to hear more of my story, it won't fit on here, PM me and maybe we can share. PLEASE and THANKS!!
this process, in part, has led to more depression in knowing that indeed something is wrong with me but not having more information, a more legitimate explanation of what might really be wrong with me. both marijuana and vyvanse have helped to alleviate my anxiety in different ways. with either/both, i am able to better focus my attention, a higher level of self-esteem, and much broader acceptance of myself and my surroundings.
very lethargic, ear pain , a tiny bit of sinus pressure, but main issues were severe tongue pain and numbness, occasional spitting up of blood from mouth not lower, white covering entire top of tongue, large (not sure of measurement but average female pinky tip red under skin bumps on lower inside gum (3-4) with visible what to a non professional look like tendrils or veins connecting to other lumps under skin, also was having a metallic/sweet taste under tongue near saliva glands and a feeling
Saw your post to Ryann and you may hit on something. If you read all of Ryann's posts - it turned out he was hypoglycemic. Here are the symptoms for that.
(please bare with me as I have a long story and list of symptoms. I will list symptoms at the end so if you really want to skip everything else just scroll down (: ) I am 20 years old and have been ill in some way for as long as I can remember. When i was around 7 years old i had my first panic attack. I also began losing a lot of energy i had always had, difficulty swallowing, even things that now seem like tics such as scrunching my nose over and over all day every day.
I left the med clinic confident and quite frankly hopeful that my 7 hour a night sleep would be restored and my anxiety would be lessened. It was. I began sleeping well, and all of my daily problems and anxiety- both big and small- I tackled with ease. My family moved a year and a half ago to a different location, and I do have had several different private doctors, and began seeing a Psychiatrist for a recent diagnoses of adult ADAD. All my current Doctors have prescribed me Klonopin.
I get numbness in my face and head, ear ache and burning ears...muscle spasms, Sharp pains in my kidney area, a weird pain.in back of head and my neck and head feels like its on fire during the flare ups..
The pain, numbness and tingling started in my fingers hands over 15 years ago. Spread to upper back, neck, 6 years ago outer thighs and hips, a few months ago it spread to my lower back. That was the last straw for me, about 80% of my body was in daily and constant pain. One specialist after another, one test after another and suddenly I find out I have hep c.
He also ordered a NCV on the right side which showed carpal tunnel, this is nothing new I've suffered with it since the 10th grade. As usual all my symptoms continued and the week of Thanksgiving I started having numbness & tingling in both my legs that started at my calves and by the end of the week moved up to right above my knees. I feel this all the time and I have had a change in the feeling of my legs.
My neurologist just wants to see how I'm doing in a few months unless the numbness and tingling worsens. It comes and goes and seems to be a little worse towards the evening. - So does EBV or CFS create neuropathies?

Dizzy spells, vertigo, drowsiness, fainting, near fainting, slurred speech, facial numbness, confusional episodes and of course headaches, nausea, vomiting and cold and hot flashes and sweating and weakness. Most of the time I just get the last 5 or 6 symptoms. It is horrible enough that I usually can't get out of bed. I am trying a new regimen of Vitamen B2. My doctor told me to try 400 mg. Studies show it may help reduce the frequency of migraines.
Vitamin B-12, which can cause the most horrendous fatigue you've ever imagined, plus if the deficiency is left untreated, it can cause tingling, numbness, burning in hands, feet and legs, ultimately causing permanent nerve damage, which is what I have and I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Vitamin D is necessary for the proper synthesis of thyroid hormones. Ferritin is an iron storage hormone and is also necessary for the synthesis of thyroid hormones.
The nausea finally was gone and Savella helps with several of my symptoms like the numbness and tingling and facial nerve pains. However, I have to take other medicines for my other symptoms. I thought it was not helping my pain until I tapered down and went off of it for four days and the pain came back big time. So I went back on it. Oh by the way, it also caused heart palpitations but my doctor said it was ok unless I was having chest pains to go to the ER.
