Avatar n tn Hi, i have a varicose vein in my left testicle. It is a bump with a little mini nodule on it. My doctor said it was ok and would go away over time, but i have had it for several months and its still there. Are there any things i can do at home to help it go away? like ice or something?
Avatar f tn I have had sonograms and they never said anything about varicose veins.
Avatar m tn t functioning quite as well this condition occurs. Varicoceles are dilated blood vessels (varicose veins) in the scrotum. Blood from the testicle drains into a collection of tiny veins. A minimally invasive radiological procedure called embolization can, in most cases, correct the problem. Correcting varicose veins in scrotum boosts sperm count, motility. Avatar n tn By mid-Tuesday morning I was starting to experience a dull pain in my right testicle, towards the back of the testicle. By Tuesday night the pain was stronger - not too strong, but noticeable. However, I could touch and move around my testicle without any pain. There were and still are no other symptoms - no other pain, no issues with my penis, no discharge, no issues urinating (actually, urinating feels great). The testicle seems to be raising itself a little.
Avatar m tn I have had large varicose veins pop up simultaneously in my right hand, left wrist, both feet (larger on the right foot). They are all painful. If I let a limb dangle, blood pools inside and I feel like the limb is dead almost. My skin constantly feels the veins tugging. What would cause varicose veins to destroy my life like this? They just keep popping up everywhere...
Avatar f tn Hello dear experts , im male 34 years old and i obese 125kg 174cm height , i have swollen varicoses swollen in my legs also in the middle of my knee what should i do pls help
155701 tn?1230047101 Medical Insurance plans cover this. I only mention this because I have spider veins (mostly in my right thigh) but they are just ugly, not painful, so the treatment to get rid of them is not covered by insurance. In any case, I would say it's a circulation issue and that it could be a more severe version of varicose veins. I would see a doctor if I were in pain with mine. Take care!
Avatar m tn What i am going to do with this varicose veins in my hands? how to erase it?
229857 tn?1319029907 I had varicose veins pop up with my second pregnancy. I hated them, even tho they didn't really hurt, they bothered me MUCH more than the stretch marks! lol There isn't much you can do at this point, maybe have surgery after baby comes, but mine did got a lot better after he was born. Unfortunately this time around I am getting them worse than ever-- I will hate even wearing shorts this summer = (.
Avatar m tn Varicose veins usually result from failures in valves in veins connecting the superficial veins to the deep system in your legs. This is a mechanical problem. No medicine can restore this function. Horse chestnut extracts have been studied and appear to decrease the swelling due to venous insufficiency but the appearance is unchanged.
Avatar n tn I am varicose vein's I had my veins stripped when I was 20 years old I'm now 68
1138687 tn?1548643978 Hi, I am wondering why there isn't a varicose veins forum!? Where else might I post my varicose veins concerns? I posted in the Deep Vein Thrombosis forum but noticed it is rarely used. I'm not certain but isn't DVT a result of varicose veins? And if varicose veins are more common, with DVT being a side affect, then Why not change that forum to Varicose Veins? Regardless shouldn't there be a forum for varicose veins?
Avatar f tn The reason I ask this, is that I had these issues and ED, my urologist prescribed a penile injection, but said varacocelles was because my age, 56 and the testicle pain he looked at them for 30 seconds and said they were normal.
Avatar n tn http://www.patient.co.uk/showdoc/23068876/ “Normally, you cannot see or feel the veins in the spermatic cord that carry the blood from the testes. If you have a varicocele, the veins become bigger (they enlarge or dilate) and this makes them more prominent. It is similar to varicose veins of the legs. The size of a varicocele can vary. A large varicocele is sometimes said to look and feel like 'a bag of worms' in the scrotum.” I would suggest you see a surgeon at the earliest.
Avatar n tn If you already have varicose veins you may have some doubts about taking birth control pills. If your varicose veins are mild and are not a symptom of a more serious condition, your doctor may agree to prescribe a low-dose estrogen pill. In this case it's up to you to decide what your priorities are. You may feel that the advantages of taking the pill outweigh the risk of varicose veins. That said I doubt if taking the pill would stop the problem! Ask the doctor for his/her opinion.
Avatar m tn I recently woke up from a dead sleep with a sharp pain as if a burn in both of my testicles. This pain was as if i had to urinate extremely bad or needed to poop really bad. The burn/pain went threw my entire penis and at certain points created an erection. This pain lasted about a half hour. I have noticed that one of the veins going to the left testicle is extremely visible and a darker purple color.
Avatar m tn Lately i have been having a sharp pain in my left testicle, inner thigh, and sometimes even my foot after exercising. I do not notice any lumps or abnormal things with my testicles. What could this be?
Avatar n tn I also have varicose veins on my scrotum. They are all on just the left side of my scrotum. Is this unusual? What would cause them to pop up on the scrotum? They do bleed occasionally and it is embarrassing to have blood stains on the crotch of your pants. Is there anything I can do to help prevention of the bleeding? Plus is there any way of hiding them? It is kinda embarassing when at the gym in the showers and you have these purple bumps all over one side of your scrotum.
Avatar m tn I went today and the uroligists he refered me to didnt even examin me, ( which is stupid). His assisitant doctor said i have varicose vein on my left testicle as well. Which is at stage 1 he says. He didnt mention anything about my penis or testicle size. I didnt mention it because i was embarrased to ask. To date, i get testicular aching feelings at random times throughout the day.
Avatar n tn Hi, Needless to remind you that you need to talk to your doctor, a cardiologist. If the varicose vein is in the legs, I understand that laser treatment is possible. Please google for ' laser treatment for varicose veins ' for more details.

1580703 tn?1651904887 There is a simple solution for varicose veins. But you can not get immediate cure as taking medication.Because its a serum we have to apply on varicose veins twice a day for 2weeks.Then you can find the very best result.By using venorid serum the result will be permanent.
2020005 tn?1628125976 Hey there, i just want to say dnp47 that was a wonderful post! thank you! I agree, I would show it to the doctor. At least just so they are updated on whats going on with your body. I also have heard, if it doesn't go away after the baby, that apple cider vinegar (with the mother in it) can be applied to the area to help varicose veins. I haven't had any to see if it works yet on myself but if you are curious to try its an idea to look up and try.
Avatar f tn org/health/diseases/22877-bulging-veins It may actually still be varicose veins which is common in 1 in 3 adults. For most people, a bulging vein is truly harmless. Unsightly, perhaps. But won't hurt you. But for a rare few, blood clots would be the concern. The article gives situations in which these are more common. Being overweight, smoking, recent pregnancy or hormonal changes, intense exercise, dieting or simply getting older are all listed as triggering to this occurring.
Avatar f tn Varicose veins are gnarled, enlarged veins. Any vein may become varicose, but the veins most commonly affected are those in your legs and feet. That's because standing and walking upright increases the pressure in the veins of your lower body. Sometimes varicose veins lead to more-serious problems. Varicose veins may also signal a higher risk of other circulatory problems. Treatment may involve self-care measures or procedures by your doctor to close or remove veins.
