Alright, so on December 22nd, I went to the doctors and got put on Trinessa Birth Control pills, the pill's instructions tell you to start taking them when you are off of your period. I thought my period was over so I started taking them that night at 9:00pm. But the next day I was still on my period, I usually have my period for an extremely long time, close to 2-3 weeks.
Now I am on Nuvaring and I am not bleeding irregularly anymore, but I have had the same problem you have since I started birth control. I have not masturbated without heavy bleeding (very very dark blood) since I started the depo as I recall,and most of the time I bleed throughout and/or after intercourse. I had the same result on my papsmear as well, so there must be a connection.
