Tramadol side effects cats

Common Questions and Answers about Tramadol side effects cats

ultracet

Ultram should not be taken for nerves, hot flashes or depression. It is very addictive and at the dosage you are taking you can expect some withdrawal after a month or two. I would taper it off slowly and hope for the best. Ultram withdrawal can be bad and can last for quite some time.
He's also extremely hungry and thirsty. I've read that all of these are possible phenobarbital side effects. How long do these usually last before the dog gets used to the medication? I'm hoping that these are not signs that something else is wrong, though I am aware of the possibilities.
yes they ALL have side effects on us and cats as well....the safest with the least side effects for pain are the following(for cats). please never use NSAID's. -bupronorphine(buprenex) -butorphanel(torbutrol) -and lastly tramadol(ultram) good luck to you and kitty, I hope you can find him some relief...at this late stage of his life and with so many health problems you need to give him the best quality for his time remaining...
Our 12 yr old Akita has mild to moderate arthritis in her back and back legs. She was taking Medacam, Ubavet and Omega Three. The Medacam has side effects so she has to be tested every few mths. Then the vet suggested Adequan - which is a series of injections which can be given at home. According to the vet, Adequan can stop arthritis from escalating and in some cases, even reverse it.
Maybe it's the whole fat cell turn over of toxins? Who knows? But yeah, in my experience with tramadol I am seeing this as quite true. Part of this is of course that the car accident I just had on 8-9-08? was probably rated as severe. So, another severe car accident. I thought I was doing ok all week at work UNTIL the weekend or maybe Friday night. Then it felt like someone had taken a bat to my upper back. My arms literally felt as if they would fall out of their sockets.
Not my fault that I had to snicker at the last line there because every time I talked to my Doctors (plural) about medications and side effects they told me that Tramadol was NOT the problem. Then there was usually another drug put on top of that Tramadol. And they told me to take more. I always thought it was the other drug, not the Tramadol. Yeah. I was wrong. It makes me very angry that these Doctors know and aren't telling people. I don't believe that they are ignorant.
So apparently HP needs me to rest, and not work and whatever the effects of that; I am still clean! I am still NOT on Tramadol! I said it before. Nothing is more important to me than being clean of this ****. I am weak like a kitten. I am drinking water and distracting myself and soon, when I get energy I need to find the inhaler that I use in the middle of the night. I have everything I need. VICKS. Steamers, liquid Vicks. Z-Pac. This morning I woke up and could barely speak.
