I been taking all three meds suboxone 1 day, vyvanse 1 day, and klonapin 2 day, I been abusing illigal drugs for past few years. coke and heroi in exessive amouts. I have stoppet 6 months agoo. igot married and have baby on the way. I am so sick of these meds. To me the same thing only problem is I work 80 hours a week and there is no way taking two weeks off. I been depressed past month becauss e work but most of it because meds I am taking.

Last June I had a breakdown and I was out of state a a physician I went to put me on seroquel, lexapro, and vyvanse....along with my klonopin. This seemed to be working, then he added Adderall and I was amazed at this. I felt "normal" for the first time in 30 years. I could think straight, and as time has gone by the depression has gone. I take 30 mg of this a day. Recently, since the insurance said they would not pay for Vyvanse and Adderall the Dr.

Try taking your blood pressure a few times on the Vyvanse and off the Vyvanse, at similar times of day and under similar circumstances. Depending on the results, you may need to talk to the doctor that is prescribing the Vyvanse to see if there is something else that can help your ADHD. I do agree with Yvette BG's other comments, above.

I take 1.5 mg Klonopin + 50 mgs of Vyvanse. I have ADD but the Vyvanse is also prescribed for depression as I cannot take absolutely any antidepressant without incredible agitation. Hello, yes I have been taking this combination of Vyvanse (70mg per day in the am) and Clonidine (0.2mg in the afternoon and 0.2mg at night). I highly prefer Vyvanse over adderall because I do not suffer from side effects w/Vyvanse as with the adderall. The Vyvanse is much smoother than most all other adhd drugs. I have never experienced shortness of breath while taking Vyvanse, however, I am 25 years old and 180lbs. I am also a Registered Nurse.

Ok, take a deep breath and lets deal with one thing at a time. Yes, I would go down to just one pill and see if that makes a difference. I would look at the label on the bottle and see if that is the dosage the doc prescribed. You might even ask your pharmacist what the normal recommended dose is (these guys are usually more in the know then the docs), and if he says something different have him call the docs office to make sure a mistake was not made.

YES! I'm a 22 year old male taking 50 mg vyvanse daily. I'm in recovery for alcohol and cocaine abuse. Been sober now for 10 months, and yes it has been difficult not to abuse vyvanse. Addicts think different than most people. We find something we like and all we can think is more more more. What I do is get a friend to hold my vyvanse and give it me as needed. I don't recommend holding on to them yourself!!! Bad idea!!

I have been on Vyvanse 70mg for years and I just noticed this morning after taking my medication it did not help me at all. So I decide to check my medication and sure enough it was half full, so I took another one and it worked fine. 13 out of 30 were less than half full, so what am I suppose to do the rest of the month.

No dose seemed to fit for me. But, I lost the weight I was needing to lose (20 lbs) and if I go off Vyvanse, will it come back on with a vengance? I have heard hunger just is out of control when stopping this drug. So I am afraid to stay on it and I am afraid to go off it.

Eating LOTS of grapefruit could increase the effectiveness of your medication, grapefruit effects the bodies metabolism (as do some other foods). If you are taking Vyvanse you should really be avoiding sugery foods any way.

My son has been takiing this med Vyvanse for adhd, so I decided to take it to see if it would help me with my depression and anxiety, and it worked great, I didn't have any side effect to it. I am taking Vyvanse and Prozac, and I'm having trouble getting myself to eat. I am still in a healthy weight range, so I'm not worried about that. After taking just the 300mg Wellbutrin, 5mg Valium, and aspirin, and 70mg Vyvanse, my pressure gradually started climbing; when it got to 149/89, I took 50mg Atenenol; over a relatively short period of time, it was back down to 129/79, but that's still too high, IMO. I'll survive without the Vyvanse; I'm going to see if I can't get my blood pressure down to a normal level with weight loss (215 now, should be 190 max) and exercise. Thank you.

I have been taking 0.5mg Klonopin every night to help me sleep with my anxiety and it's really helped but just recently my doctor has put me on 10mg of Prozac to take every morning , well now I'm having troubles sleeping again even while taking the klonopin , could the two medication's be working against each other ?? Adderol is like Special Forces who goes in to accomplish a specialized mission, and then leaves.. On the other hand, Vyvanse is the army, does all the heavy lifting and 95% of everything else. I am not addressing drug addiction — just what my doctor says is a common prescribing practice with Vyvanse.

Why are you taking 3 Vyvanse pills of 70mg = 210mg?? Stop taking that much. I have been on Vyvanse for a legit condition for 7 years and have only recently had to have a small mg tablet add-on of adderall XR to take at the end of the day if my Vyvanse feels like its wearing off. You are asking for serious health problems if you continue taking that medicine irresponsibly. Not to be mean, but given the shear seriousness of your post, where is your common sense??

Hi! I've been slowly upping my Vyvanse dose & am currently taking 50mg every morning. I've noticed I can easily take a nap any time of day (similar to before Vyvanse) does this mean my dose is still to low?

I started to try different doses of Vyvanse and Adderall, starting at 10mg Vyvanse and going up to 50mg, and starting at 5mg Adderall (IR) and increasing to 10, at most, 4x a day. All of these medications seemed to increase my depressive symptoms, and since I wasn't really retaining much or cognizant of how I was doing, I ended up going three weeks without touching my homework, going to class or talking to my friends.

If you have ADHD and a prescription - no worries even if it does show up. If you don't ....then this search showed that, "Vyvanse is detectable in urine up to 3 days after ingesting Vyvanse. Vyvanse is detectable in hair samples for months after ingestion. Though Vyvanse itself only stays in your system four hours post-ingestion, the active drug d-amphetamine stays in your system for 40 hours.
