Other medications are metformin 500mg twice daily, Lisinopril 40mg(morning), Trazodone 50. Recently I take tadalafil 10mg and my blood sugar goes very low. t know where to post this question, someone knows if pde5 inhibitors and specifically tadalafil (cialis) are reversible enzyme inhibitors? and can you explain why from a chemical and pharmacological point of view? So, is the inhibition reversible or irreversible and why? I know it is not an easy question but I can't find on the internet this answer.
I have now have tried all the usual tablets (Viagra, Levitra, Tadalafil although not Spedra - yet). Tadalafil seems to work best although even that doesn't facilitate an erection sufficient for intercourse. So, looking for alternatives, I discovered alprostadil.
I, too have a bump under my tongue. It is right on the skin that connects my tongue to my lower jaw, so when i move my tongue, it hurts. It started recently, and has been recurring on and off. However, this morning it was at its fullest and largest size. It appears to be clear, with some sort of transparent fluid inside. It hurts when I eat, for it involved tongue movement. I do not smoke, chew tobacco, or anything of the sort, nor have I ever. Looking at it, it has gotten MUCH bigger over time.
A small flap of skin under my tongue seems to be clogged(with fluid and puss) and enlarged. Perhaps this is a secretion gland? Is this something serious?
I believe it is puss because I did manage to squeeze a white substance out of it. i also tried to puncture it to drain the fluid, but it did not drain.
I am just getting over a cold and during the cold I noticed an ulcer or cold sore ontop of my tongue for a few days. Now when I look under my tongue I have what looks like a peice of shin hanging down it is sore and hangs down about 1/8 of an inch. My friends son has developed a lump under his tongue which is painful and has put him off his food hence weight loss. She lives in Indonesia where medical care is costly and does not appear to be up to the standards you would expect. He has been prescribed a steroid ointment (for topical use only ?????) which has reduced the size of the lump but it then returns when the ointment is not used. I have suggested she ask her GP to undertake blood tests fbc ue b12 folate but after that I am at a loss.
Putting a Xanax tab under your tongue will help get it into your system a bit faster, but it still takes awhile for it to dissolve.
I have found that chewing the tablet, (which takes nerves of steel because of the taste) into a fine powder, mixing it with your saliva then put that under your tongue for a few seconds, then swallow it.
Please be aware that even this method will not stop an anxiety or panic attack already in progress, but it will bring some relief a little faster.
Hi....I have a small pea sized lump under my tongue on the right side. It's located in the valley of my mouth between the floor of the tongue and the gum line. It is below the tissue. It is painless and has there for 2 years or so. It has not gotten larger. I asked my dentist about it a year and a half ago...but she said it was likely nothing. Is this something I should be more concerned about? Does anyone know what this could be?

Hello it is possible you could have somehow pulled a muscle in your tongue. The tongue has a lot of different muscles in it. I did some research and a few people had similar problems, some happened when yawning, some when screaming etc.
There was very little offered in ways of relieving the pain unfortunately, but one person said when she would lean her head back and pushed her chin upward and forward it helped relieve her pain.
but not fully resolved ... noticed inflammed, swollen/irritated papillae under tongue (both sides of tongue and also under front of tongue also). Salivary glands swollen. All week Ive had a sore under my tongue...Its really small and when i brush it become like a tiny crator. It hurts really bad when i eat anything. But especially when i eat Anything with salt. Ive been brushing it, rinsing with Hydrogen Peroxide and Listerine. After rinsing the pain goes down but it flares back up in an hour or so. I cant even fully rest my tongue in my mouth cuz when it touches my teeth or anything in my mouth it stings. How do I get rid of it?
i still have under tongue pain that seems to radiate under my chin. I stopped taking tagament and it went away for a while but now it is back, i thought from taking pepcid so i stopped it but with no luck. The only thing im taking now is librax and gaviscon which i have took for a year now would these meds affect saliva glands or tongue. i went to my dr and she put me on magic mouth wash with no success. Any body else ever experianced this or have suggestions?

I sincerely feel that you should consult a urologist for the same if the oral medications are not able to treat the ED. I hope you have tadalafil also apart from sildenafil. The next step is usually papaverine injection but needs to be given by an expert only. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
