suboxone and kratom

Hello all. What kind of kratom would i need and how much to kick a 1mg Suboxone habit a day? I see that they have all types of Kratom and from what i hear it works wonders. So what type of Kratom does anyone recommend? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

t a true opiate, but does it work on the same receptors? I am 3 days off a .5 gram heroin habit per day and I used Kratom first for withdrawals (along with Xanax) then started taking small doses of Subutex. If the Kratom will work whilst taking subs, I would like to try that. I can tell you this was probably the best detox I've done (I've done it a fair few times with just Subutex; sometimes with Xanax as well). The Kratom really seemed to make the difference.

i plan to go to Miami for 19 days then go to Fort Myers FL for 11 more days basicly a 30 day trip i plan to take less kratom and less kratom when i get there due to the weather being better then where im at. im sick of walking around stiff and my bones get frozen i guess i picked the worse time of the year in MI to get through this...i wish some one had some kratom expierence on here that could maybe explain a few things i need to know about it...

So i cold turked suboxone and took kratom for about 90 days and still felt uncomftableness and withdrawls and unhappyness and when i wake up cant go back to sleep. any way i got real frustrated and going through headache pain on top of it and relapsed to a heavy opiate for about 15 days. i feel brain zaps when i stand up and very unstable. i am taking kratom to ease the withdrawl of opiates... im on my day 4 clean...

I’m quitting Kratom this week. Not cold turkey and it’s been a long time coming. 2 years. I’ve fought off stimulant and opiod addiction so I understand what I’m getting into. I’ve decided instead of taking Suboxone or MAT like an Opiod I’m going to do it the old fashioned way. One tapered down. I see people posting about St Johns, Valerian Root, Melatonin, and a lot of OTC things I know are safe and effective. What else is there to ease the anxiety ?

I actually just spoke to my drug counselor about this helping with my withdrawals, she says ABSOLUTELY stay away from that, not only is it NOT fda approved, nobody really knows what it's made of... I would tell your friend to stay away from the kratom, and try suboxone or methadone.

I am an EMS Instructor Intern. I'm post-op been taking Kratom since early 2019, then a large break started 2016-2018. OR gave me 10mg. when can I take make the next dose of kratom? Kratom and Suboxone both have a 24-hour half-life with methadone around 48-54 hours. I'm in pain. when can I take my next dose?, Some doctors say to wait 68-72 hours after??? I have Scheuermann's disease in Mid to upper back with Low Backbone spur. please any doctors to answer our questions.

How long will suboxone withdrawal last? I am at 39 days off suboxone and still experiencing mild withdrawal. I was on sub. for around 2 1/2 yrs. and jumped off at 12mg. It is definitely not as bad as the first few weeks but this is lasting forever. I had to withdraw from college this quarter and haven't been back to work for a while. Is anyone going through the same situation?

ve been takin basic vitamins and Kratom only once a day in the mornings to get me going. Planned to use kratom for only the 1st 2weeks of wds but now I'm starting to think don't need it. Kratom helps to spark up the same mu receptors. But it's not an opioid and btw I'm using Bali kratom the weakest there is. My question is am I 1 of the lucky ones to escape subs with ZERO WDS? Or is it a matter of needing more time? Or is this kratom gonna screw me, as soon as I stop takin it?

Never used it for wd or for fun found out about it doing research on ways to help with my cold Turkey and went and bought some I hope it helps has any body no how to use it can I start out drinking it immediatly or should I wait until im wd?

I get it, and he's right. After awhile, the suboxone is just completely numbing and is no longer euphoric, however, don't take it and see what happens! If your goal is to taper until off the subs, then to ensure the best chance of success you need to do it slowly. You will almost guarantee relapse if you do it too quickly b/c he will be sick. Is your husband having to work while trying to taper off this med?

Hi I have been on suboxone off and on for 5 years full time for 3 years I am still on teo 8 mg strips a day when I started I was on 4 strips a day so I have tapered some in the past couple years . I became on suboxone because I was put on pain pills for a long time by a dr and I found after a couple years I had a addiction to them and couldn't function without the pain pills so I put my self in suboxone clinic.

I am an addict no matter what I take, Kratom, Suboxone, oxys, percs, methadone, etc. I want to be done! I recently quit a bad methadone habit last year and that was a walk in the park compared to this Kratom withdrawal. I have been taking Kratom for almost a year now and today is the end of my second day detoxing from it and it hurts!!! -OMG It hurts THERE IS A WITHDRAWAL NO KRATOM SELLERS WILL TELL YOU THAT!!!! BTW I plan on being off of opiates for the rest of my life after this.

However I would not go as far as to say taking drug like suboxone does not help someone who is addicted to pain killers or smack. sometimes its better to be on a drug like suboxone and not be stealing and hurting people and sticking a needle in your veins. I think the person ends up better off in the end verses someone who tries to quit cold turkey like I tried a million times and just ended up going back to it.

I have been caught in a loop bouncing between Oxycodone and Suboxone for about a year. Has anyone tried any natural / non-pharmaceutical product to help with opiate withdrawal ? Thank you!

As far as I know, any drug that works on opioid receptors, be it methadone, suboxone, or Kratom build tolerance and addiction. What else have you tried, besides herbal or pharmaceutical treatments?

I am using Red Vein Bali Kratom I fill 12 double zero 00 capsules with the powder and take 12 twice a day when withdrawals start it really does help and kratom is a natural plant related to the coffee plant in low doses its a stimulant in high doses its a relaxant. I have been on methadone for 11 years (this time) thanks to a lying doctor that assured me hydrocodone was not addictive! After i had been completely clean for 7 years!

I was on suboxone for 2 mths..Started at 4 mg and felt horrible with loss of appetite ..Lost 20 lbs so I knew it was unhealthy to continue on sub...Tapered down to 3/4 of a gram and could get no lower without withdrawal kicking in..Someone recommended kratom which I am on now..It did take away the withdrawal temporarily. When I don't take the kratom it kicks back in...Very frustrating. I am considering going into inpatient detox to get this dealt with.Don't know what else to turn to..

now how many days do you guys think i should be ok not to get suboxone withdrawls....even with suboxone i get hot and cold and sweaty in my sleep from the opiate withdrawls and im basicly stuck i know how bad the withdrawls of suboxone can be but i had no choice but to take it do to the heavy opiate with drawl how many days of a window do i have to take suboxone not to feel withdrawls from it..

I've talked to a few doctors about soboxone and methadone.I guess that's the only way its gonna happen. I was hoping to find another way suboxone so expensive and methadone u have to go into a clinic everyday and about two weeks ago I fell asleep behind the wheel and wrecked my fusion my life's getting out of control.

I took an herb called kratom for back pain and started feeling abdominal pain in my right side and yellowing eyes. After that I quit taking it and did research and found that it has given a few people liver problems like intrahepatic cholestasis. I got a blood test last month and it showed my bilirubin was high and my alkaline phosphatase was low. They sent me to a specialist who did an ultrasound and found nothing and wanted to do more test when I got my insurance.

oh geez. to both statements. 1)I thought if my body acclamated to .125 then it would be an easy jump to zero. Today I took .5mg instead of my usual .7mg, and all is well for now. . we'll see in a few days. and (2) kratom? I took it this am, and that's why I didn't want the sub. Plus, yes, I take valerian, melotonin, and- L-Tyrosine and DLPA. BUT MY Q is, since I am tapering to .1mg and then jumping, as opposed to jumping now from .5mg, it won't be that bad. right?

Any opinion on this method and how you think this might help the tapering until I can get to .25mg, and then to .1275mg, and then to .0675, and then to .0325, and then jump. Every morning is this ritual I just started. Anyone have any thoughts if this is a good move or too much herbs or anything? Right now, I'm just a bit dizzy. oh I forgot. I smoke one bong hit at night to sleep.

What are you detoxing from? I'm curious. 10 days is amazing. I'm on my 3rd day from fentanyl w/d... no fun at all. But I quit cold turkey from Suboxone last fall so I know what true hell is. This is a walk in the park compared to that ****. >_< Congrats though! I hope things continue to get better for you.
