Suboxone and kratom

Common Questions and Answers about Suboxone and kratom

Hello all. What kind of kratom would i need and how much to kick a 1mg suboxone habit a day? I see that they have all types of kratom and from what i hear it works wonders. So what type of kratom does anyone recommend? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I have a friend from Thailand and I asked her a few monthes ago about kratom she said it was VERY addicting and to stay far away from it. Just thought I would pass that along. The fear of wds a lot of us find is worse then then actual, best of luck to you .
I have been on suboxone for three yaers and need to know if any one knows is you can take suboxone with kratom with out it blocking the effects
both are opiates.. just say no Tracy.. Temgesic is only available in Europe its there version of suboxone. and kratom is a herb from a plant that is illegal in most countries.. It is not illegal here but I read a few articles about customs stopping it from entering the country,..
I took krataom for 3 months after suboxone and all it did was PROLONG IT, make it WORSE, once you stop kratom the suboxone withdrawals espeacially mentally will creep up, then you have to go through 2 withdrawals, the kratom and suboxone, believe me you do NOT want to stay on kratom or try it, it has bad withdrawls and they will last long..
So i cold turked suboxone and took kratom for about 90 days and still felt uncomftableness and withdrawls and unhappyness and when i wake up cant go back to sleep. any way i got real frustrated and going through headache pain on top of it and relapsed to a heavy opiate for about 15 days. i feel brain zaps when i stand up and very unstable. i am taking kratom to ease the withdrawl of opiates... im on my day 4 clean...
Oh, and I also tried kratom, after reading some posts about it a few days ago. So my questions are can you use the kratom with the suboxone and can I still take the vitamins with the suboxone. I know i can't use the xanax with the suboxone but I am so desperate. I think my marriage is going down the tubes because of this. My husband has this horrible addicton too but he can't handle worrying about the both of us.
Problem is, I did run out 2 weeks early every month (was getting prescription for back pain-legit), and had to supplement with kratom and poppy seed tea-and the occasional purchase of pills off the street. Now if I'd been prescribed twice as many- then I wouldn't have had any problems. Oh well.
make a tea from using a ratio of 1gm of crushed kratom to 1 oz of water and boil the hell out of it for 30 min strain it add sugar and chill in the fridg ... about 8 to 10 oz of tea will give you about 7 to 15 mg of kratom... that is a mediun dose doses higher than 20 grams will make you feel very sleepy.... lower doses will give you a stimulation effect...
i realize this today because in the last week or so there has been a question or two about alternative substances, and yes i researched kratom when i was first deciding to seek true freedom from opiates, but like has been said it has its own set of problems, the thinking that leads to wonder about kratom being the answer is in itself the very problem. addiction is unsustainable.....recovery from addiction is freedom!
i plan to go to Miami for 19 days then go to Fort Myers FL for 11 more days basicly a 30 day trip i plan to take less kratom and less kratom when i get there due to the weather being better then where im at. im sick of walking around stiff and my bones get frozen i guess i picked the worse time of the year in MI to get through this...i wish some one had some kratom expierence on here that could maybe explain a few things i need to know about it...
We are all entitled to our strong opinions about what works and what does not and that is great you did not need Sub or kratom. I hope all continues to go well. S...
Sure- the first 36 hours weren't awesome, but they weren't even 1/8th as bad as when I got off the kratom with nothing. The Phenibut and L-Tyrosine will elevate your mood and you won't even care about kratom. This really does work.
I was speaking with a gentleman today who told me how he was able to taper off of suboxone. He would take kratom in place of the suboxone dosage he would be taking. So if he was on 12 mg and he was trying to get to 10mg he would take up to 10mg and when the craving would come in he would use kratom and he said he was able to get all the way to . 50 and he said he was on .50 for a long time and he said that for the first three weeks he did have anxiety and some slight discomfort.
Have been getting alot of suggestion about using an herb, kratom, to help ease the withdrawal symptoms. Apparantly, it acts on the same/some similiar brain receptors that opiods (pain meds) do. I have heard very few negative stories, but most of the stories I read from users are (and I say this cautiously) extremely positive. Down to only taking 1/2 of a 7.5mg hydro this morning around 8:30am. Feel fine so far...just worried and anxious that it will get worse...harder times are coming.
now how many days do you guys think i should be ok not to get suboxone withdrawls....even with suboxone i get hot and cold and sweaty in my sleep from the opiate withdrawls and im basicly stuck i know how bad the withdrawls of suboxone can be but i had no choice but to take it do to the heavy opiate with drawl how many days of a window do i have to take suboxone not to feel withdrawls from it..
He basically said you’re done now, no more prescriptions and we’re starting you on suboxone. I’m terrified and mentally not quit prepared! I also have a 2800 mile road trip starting in 3 days and have no idea what to do about the WD symptoms. I explained all this to him and he said you’re starting now and that the suboxone will stop the WD symptoms. Does this really work that well, will I not have symptoms on my road trip?
I came to the conclusion that i am finished, but had 2 suboxone strips 2mg each and thats it. I have not taken subs since january as I had to detox cold turkey from them and it took a looo g time. i went all of wednesday with nothing at all and w/d very hard. Thursday i made it to about 8pm before i took the other 2mg strip. My question is will i have to w/d for more than a week since i took such a small amount ?
The pain and suffering of withdrawal will be avoided at all costs. Going back to opioids and particularly the unregulated and shady world of kratom seems like classic manipulation to me. Why not get advice from his own doctors or addiction specialists?
I am an ex-heroin addict, turned pill head and spent my life savings on kratom only to wind up single and on parole again. Now it is day 5 off subs after 14 mos. and I am WIDE AWAKE! I slept on day 1, 3, but hardly on two. I am really glad to be feeling better already but know more is to come. I have a script for naltrexone in my pocket which I will fill soon, but NEVER suboxone for so long again. (God Willing) This is much easier than heroin, but much slower.
Whats crazy is when I was overseas I was weaned down enough to where kratom is all I needed (and adderall), and even withdrawing from that sucked when I ran out. However I would love to be back in that position now.
So now im lookin at a serious amount of jailtime which sux period. suboxone has been my crutch on and off for years and honestly its nothing but heroin light. Its just as bad in my opinion as heroin or oc or percs or whatever. Ive been researching cheap ways to get through the w/d easily. Heres what ive come up with buy 500grams of premium kratom leaf and brew about 5 gallons of tea with it.
Now I've been takin basic vitamins and kratom only once a day in the mornings to get me going. Planned to use kratom for only the 1st 2weeks of wds but now I'm starting to think don't need it. kratom helps to spark up the same mu receptors. But it's not an opioid and btw I'm using Bali kratom the weakest there is. My question is am I 1 of the lucky ones to escape subs with ZERO WDS? Or is it a matter of needing more time? Or is this kratom gonna screw me, as soon as I stop takin it?
Do the opiates stay in your body or just get flushed out since they can't stick to your receptors? Can you go ahead and take suboxone the next day and keep on with your maintenance or do you have to wait until withdrawal to start sub again even though you never felt the opiates and they were never able to bind to your receptors?
For energy, L-Tyrosine, L-Carnitine, B-12, and Red Bull. The problem is that I live with my girlfriend and she has never had to fight an addiction like this, so she doesn't understand what I'm (WE'RE) going through. My back is killing me all the time, my legs feel like they have weights tied to them. These chills won't go away, and these NY winters do NOT help lol. The best part of all of this, is that I have the support of my family. THIS IS KEY!
I felt a big snake biting me and it took one day to feel that pain and afterwards I knew I can do this and get off suboxone. I was on suboxone 2mgs for 6 months and tried to taper down... Can anyone tell me how long suboxone withdrawals last???? im so anxious to know because I really can't wait to feel back to normal. Thank you and God Bless all of you.
Finally I stopped the kratom and I can tell kratom WDS VS suboxone WDS is like 1 to 50 . So I think kratom should be use for suboxone WDs u just need to know how to use it and for how long. I started to like it :):) but hey I want to be drug free and no more any ****!!! I feel happy and free now !!! thank you all and will be in touch .
Natural alkaloid contained in the resin of the opium poppy, primarily morphine, codeine, and thebaine. kratom and Salvia can also be considered natural opiates because of their action on various receptors. kratom on the mu and delta receptors, and Salvia is a kappa-opioid agonist.
suboxone and Methadone are the only opiates I'm aware of that the state (in the US) has sanctioned as being ok to be addicted to for no other reason than that one is already addicted to opiates. As far as I can tell, a good case could be made for standardizing on a "better" state-sanctioned opiate. Nevertheless, those are the two that are available if you're going to do replacement therapy.
