Hi.....I am so nervous and anxious for my stress test tomorrow. I'm getting some anxiety sensations because I'm scared to feel weak and chest pain while doing the stress test. My doctor had ordered out this stress test to figure out the fact that I had about 2-3 episodes of Supraventricular Tachycardia in less than 6 mos. to a year. My doctor at first thought it was because of low potassium levels, but was able to rule that out after the 3rd episode.
Only took 6 business days to get my results back but it depends which test you took... It was an awful week of stress and waiting but so relieved once we finally got results. Try not to get stressed out, stay busy to keep your mind occupied, and remember that there is nothing you can do about it right now so just relax and ignore all those "what if..." questions.
I had a stress test last week and today they told me these are the results: EF 69%, Test was abnormal - moderate sized, moderate intensity, reversible perfusion defect involving inferolateral wall. Moderate sized, moderate intensity fixed perfusion defect involving inferoseptal wall. They plan to do a cath, but there is a two week waiting list. How dangerous is this and should I wait the two weeks or go elsewhere?
Thanks Grace. I will, its probably stress. I have an IUD so Im sure Im not pregnant. I thought the infection may gum up my "works" so to speak.
I was looking at pics of STDs online ( btw I recommend this every time someone casually hooks up, its a mood killer ) and the discharge from the BV pics looks exactly like what I had, but I also have gonorrhea. The discharge is 99% better, but now I don't know if the absence of discharge is a good indication that the gonorrhea is gone.
I would just call doc and maybe yr doc will do a stress test just to give u peace of mind. I was experiencing less movement and my doc now has me now doing stress test every week. I am 34 weeks. I haven't had any serious problems with this pregnancy but about 2 weeks ago I notice he was a lot more quiet in there than usual. So I call doc and he set me up with a stress test. Good luck. 99 percent of the time the baby's r fine.
Wow... your period is very irregular. I'm surprised the doctor didn't give you some kind of medication for that. Should you consult another doctor? I suggest to continue using the OPK tests or monitor like I do. In my experience, they're accurate. I always get a positive and then my temp will go up a couple days later, so I trust them. You should use a basal thermometer, I got one from early pregnant test website. The mercury-free cost about $15. I have no trouble using it.
Can someone please help me understand my recent Stress test findings: Images show mild intensity small-sized defect, located in the distal anterior and apical wall. Rest images show no change of the defect compared to the stress images. This defect suggests infarction vs. artifact in the wall. Gated SPECT imaging demonstates abnormal septal motion of the distal anterior and apical wall. The left ventricular ejection fraction was calculated to be 56%.

29 y/o male. Overall pretty healthy, though I could probably eat a few more veggies and exercise a bit more. Which I've been doing.
I've been having random PVC's for the past 18 months. Sometimes once or twice and they're gone for a few weeks / months, or sometimes bad enough where I've had to go into Emergency.
I've had two EKGs in emerg, all "normal". I've had a 24 hour holter monitor, which came back with one PVC, otherwise "normal.

Here's the story me and my husband basically raises my sisters three kids they wldnt have had an Easter or birthdays I love them with everything I got but now that I'm expecting me and my husband elder like some piece and quite to.enjoy the growth of our little junior! Age's.
s to be sure so he ordered a nuclear Med stress test. I have looked it up online and found out that the medicine/dye they put into to you to better see the heart is somewhat radioactive. Supposedely safe (about only 40% of the safe amount for a human being or basically the same as many xrays) but I'm a bit aprehensive about putting ANYTHING radioactive in my blood stream. I am having thoughts about just telling them to give me the holter monitor and cancel the stress test.
They do have open meetings were you can take the kids. For most of us here it is VERY inportant to go to the meetings and get a sponsor. It is recovery so we learn how do deal with life on life terms. And the big thing is for me I had to stay away from my looong time friends because they use. I have a new set of friends in recovery and they have dances, pot lucks and such. It becomes a new Life and a New way of living...CLEAN/SOBER.
I went to colorado technical university online....it was soooooo convenient.
My ekg was abnormal ( was not told in what way, they did not seem too worried about it at the hospital), and my echocardiogram was also normal, including an ejection fraction of 65-75%. However, this week when I went in for my execise stress test I had to stop early because I was so fatigued ( I only made it about 5 minutes - was not surprised) and my bp dropped (a great deal down to 80/ can't remember diastolic from around 140/90, I believe).
