She has always had problems with behavior, but most recently it has grown worse than ever. When the children get in trouble they are supposed to go to timeout for how ever many minutes they are old. I try to put this certain child in timeout and she refuses.
Avatar f tn Somehow, you need to find a way to get rid of the stress - exercise (I know, all the responsibilities at home make this difficult), meditation, a stress management class, yelling outside, a punching bag, something, anything to reduce the stress. It also sounds like marriage counseling would be a huge help if your husband is willing. If things don't change, eventually you'll either go crazy or leave the house. Try getting help before things become unmanageable.

Avatar f tn Stress can hurt the baby but it takes a lot to. Me and my boyfriend fight so bad all the time now bc I'm so hormonal! I get cramps afterwards sometimes but other then that everything is okay with the baby. Its normal to get crazy every now and then especially being pregnant now!

Avatar f tn My 4 year kid has been suffering from asthma and every year we end up in the hospital with something that has been complicated by asthma.We have attended the asthma clinic and learned ways to prevent attacks, what triggers attacks etc. I thought I was on top of the asthma until our emergency visit and then I started thinking there was probably a lot more to learn than I knew.This is such a terrible thing for anyone to have, especially children.

Avatar f tn t have to go with your first reaction or handle it the way you always have. Talk to counselor about approaches stress management. You have control over your reaction only--not the people in your life. So focus on yourself and practice how you will respond to family. It really works. I deal with family bickering/drama a lot.

Avatar m tn In March they did a bone scan, which showed that I still had a stress fracture in my cuboid bone and he had me wear a walking shoe for a few months. In May I was told that it was healing properly and that I didn't have to wear anymore. About a month ago my foot started hurting so badly that I could not walk at all, so I put the shoe back on. It still continues to hurt badly and I am unable to stand for more than an hour, running is out of the question, and I am barely am to walk.
Avatar n tn Avoidance of triggers as mentioned above is one important management of migraine, both in adults and children. Both preventive and abortive medications may also help provide relief. Cyclic vomiting syndrome are usually associated with migraine in children. Discuss this with her attending physician for proper management. Take care and do keep us posted.
Avatar f tn No stress at home. Competitve gymnast in great physical shape. 4 weeks later, 9 year old started wtih same problem. Doctors can't figure it out. No asthma for her and 100% on the oxygen saturation. EKG and all x-rays normal on both. Does not occur when sleeping. Definitely worse when working out. 9 year old now has to yawn a lot, espcially when working out! Asthma testing shows 9 yr old only allergic to mold. 11 year old allergic to everything but mold.
