So for about a month now i've have had these bad stomach pains that really kicked up 2 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago I went to my GP about my stomach aches and gas and he prescribed me Nexium because he figured that I had an ulcer, and lots of acid. So the next morning i took the Nexium and carried out through my day. I felt OK until about lunch time which is when i started to get dizzy and nauseous. Went home did my normal thing thinking it was the medicine's side effects.
I think your anxiety is playing with you, because an anxious stomach causes loose stools and cramps. Relax and don't worry. You didn't eat any! and even if you did, not everyone gets it. For example, I have a huge fear of vomiting, and when the stomach flu comes around my area, I freak out, thinking I have it. I have nausea, diarrhea, etc, but I've never thrown up. I think a lot of times the anxiety can really cause your body this stress. and the IBS?
my appointment this past Wednesday, the gastro gave me the NEW medicine Zelnorm, that just came out.Two hours after the very first dose the gas broke up,and my bloated stomach went down.. I do not know if it is related with this at all, but i have severe stomach pains and pains in the abdomen. I have nausea all day and alot of gas coming from the stomach to the throat, especially after eating.
Almost two years ago we took him to the ER because he was having severe stomach pains and diarrhea. They were afraid it was his appendix so they did a CT scan. It turned out to be nothing. It was almost as if he just had bad gas that caused his stomach pains because shortly after the scan he started to pass gas and said he felt better. Since then he has continued to have stomach problems that vary. They used to occur once every few months, and now they seem to be occuring a few times a month.
I would get stomach cramps that would be gas. When you have gas you do need to go #2. if you are constipated do eat Papaya & Prunes. These fruits will help you go to the restroom. If you dont like Papaya rule it out and eat prunes. Another thing that you should concider is a monthly cleansing. Also clean your intestine by eating the fruit Tuna with the seads. Tuna is red and round comes from a cactus.
If your burps or gas smell like roten eggs (sulphur), try to avoid sulphur-containing foods, which are basically all animal foods except fish. Some vegetables and especially many sauces and salad dressings contain sulphur. I went to sleep and slept well enough through the night. Thursday morning I awoke to find I still had the pain. I took some seltzer fizz tablets to try to help alleviate the pain. By thursday evening the pain was till there, so I chewed some pepto tablets. The pain never subsided.
It started suddenly, I have no nausea, and the diarrhea is not acidic and burning like when you have a stomach bug. I eat a very healthy diet. For the past week I have been taking probiotics and simethicone (gas-X), but there is no improvement. I have not lost any weight, but am really tired, perhaps because I am not absorbing my food properly? in the past I have had routine colonoscopies due to colon cancer in my family, so I know my colon is normal.
I'm 20w and I all of a sudden started getting those diarrhea stomach pains (and really bad too, almost in tears) but I have not been able to pass anything because I've been severly constipated. I sat on the toilet and only passed gas but the pains have stopped for now. All I have in my house is children's pepto tablets... can I take them? What else can I do? What have you done?

i am not sure but as we get older we lose the ability to keep producing enzymes to digest our foods properly like when we were younger ,,,,, u are still young if u are drinking 2 pints of milk a day without diarrhea and without getting gas pains maybe it has to do with the cereals ,,, u could for a week or so give them both a break and see if this improves ,,,,or try a different cereals like oats....
I had 2 weeks of diarrhea issues, and was given Metronidzole. After that mediaction was finished, it's been three days, and after two normal days, I got attacked by it again. I'm confused if I'm recovering with attacks, or if it's getting worse. I now also am having stomach pains.

I have had one person tell me it is the gallbladder but I don't have a gallbladder it was removed last year with stones in it and a chrinc infection.
Everything has been great and I have no regrets having the surgery, however for the past few months I have developed a stomach pain and I have an appointment next week. I seem to have heartburn, gas, and pains so bad that I want to cry. I am at a point right now that food is what seems to trigger the attacks, so I am not eating. I hope to know more by next week, but so far I am concerned because from the posts, it seems as though doctors cannot explain these pains.....
I have eight days left (which is how early my first came) and since last Saturday I've dropped. First off i never have gas, maybe a little toot in bed but never gassy. All the sudden tonight I'm going off left and right and they are disgusting plus two bowel movements. I'm wondering if this means my body is getting anything extra out right before i go into labor. What do you all think??
I do have a problem with unusual diarrhea. I can feel when I am starting to go. There is rumbling in my soon as I stand up to go to the comes out. I cannot control it what-so-ever. I have searched and read things about this problem in children. I have no bleeding or unusual sharp pains (unless I am in a position to have to try and wait to use the bathroom) then I get terrible cramps and actually I never end up making it to the bathroom.
I am 31 and for years have had sudden onset of severe stomach pains and diarrhea, but not to the severity that you are experiencing. I also engaged in a battery of tests which always came back negative. I finally came across an acupuncturist that specialized in gastrointestinal problems. She suggested that I get a complete stool analysis from Great Smokies Diagnostic Lab. They are extremeley reputable and thorough.
Risk factors such as foreign travel exposure to others with diarrhea, antibiotic use, will influence the timing and extent of the evaluation. initially, stool cultures are done. A flexible sigmoidoscopy is sometimes done if the diarrhea persists and the cultures are negative.
