I just saw The Changling last night for the first time. That was so good but so sad! It's still worth watching, though, if you all haven't seen it yet. And I know, I'm probably slow here! But, hey, I do usually wait till things are out on DVD. It's just too dang expensive to go to the theater anymore and this way we can watch in our jammies with our own popcorn! So, what have you all seen and recommend?

Where I live the AYSO and a couple of the private schools have a deal with the local movie theater. You can by ticket vouchers all year long from their fundraiser dept for about $3.00 off the normal ticket price. There is no limit and no expiration date you just have to pay cash. I buy 4 at the start of each month and put them away. If we want to make a trip to the movies it is already in the budget. They are also great to have on hand as gifts to slip inside birthday or thank you cards.

They made the movie here in NM where i live right outside of town so we saw alot of them while making the movie..Very nice ppl..So now u see the **** hole i live in..

s Fire, Pretty in Pink and About Last Night. Loved the Brat Pack...haha. Any dancing movie like Flashdance, Dirty Dancing, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Salsa. I can go on and on.

Have any of you guys seen that movie devils due?( about the lady pregnant with the devil baby or whatever ) lol I refuse to watch it while pregnant scares me so bad! Last scary movie i watched was "It" and i have been scared of clowns every since. Couldnt imagine this movie!!! I saw the previews and thought oh He!! no!!!!!

I normally wait until a movie is released on DVD. But this one.....seemed like only big screen would do it justice. I was very dramatic and the special effects were fantastic. I don't believe the premise though. We have the rainbow as a reminder that flood will never destroy humanity again. If I wasn't so sure about the future of the earth this film would have been frightening!

Took my daughters to see the Brad Pitt movie Benjamin Buttons...They were not impressed but I thought it was good not great but good......Talk about a guy who overcomes obsticles..I was curious what others might have thought?

s last night and she had rented this movied with heath ledger...one of his last...she does not know about my problem but it was a great movie and di me some good..they enjoyed it as well (not addicts)..If you want to see a good flick...watch it..

Love ya too crazy girl. I love Survivor. It's the only reality show I've watched since inception. I was glad to see Bob win given the choices. Susie got on my last nerve. When she won the last immunity and started running that mouth and I wanted to smack her. It's like shut up fool, you're not only one on the show!!! Sugar was a class act and very crafty but way too emotional. The comment Corrine made about Sugar's Dad and the AD's was ugly.

It's been out for awhile on DVD (through I've never seen it in stores) and shown on some PBS stations, as well.

I have had the same problem with my three year old (and hubby!!!) I'm 20 weeks. I have found that putting a dvd player in his room works wonders. Sometimes he still comes in but I usher him back to bed and pop once a movie. Now 90% of the time he'll stay there and fall asleep watching his movie. He'll even tells me when it's bed time now and happily watch a movie and fall asleep. BUT.....

I love "Silent Night" and "Hark the Herald Angels Sing". But, then I also love "Frosty" and "Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer." At 46, I still have to watch Rudolph and Frosty every year at Christmas. I have the DVDs so I can watch them whenever I want - including "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." The other DVD I have to watch every year is "It's a Wonderlife Life." I cry every year when I watch that. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

After firmly deciding NOT to go see "Marley & Me" in the theater, I was forced to see it just to get out of the house for a couple of hours. I was prepared with tissues thanks to my husband, but didn't think I'd need them. Shoot. Once you've gone through the real thing, a movie can't be any worse. Right? Yeah? Nope. The screenplay stripped too much from the excellent book in my opinion.
