I normally wait until a movie is released on DVD. But this one.....seemed like only big screen would do it justice. I was very dramatic and the special effects were fantastic. I don't believe the premise though. We have the rainbow as a reminder that flood will never destroy humanity again. If I wasn't so sure about the future of the earth this film would have been frightening!

if you see the movie, please do NOT be frightened that you are very likely to end up non-functional like some of those in the movie. Most of us do not. A number of the Lyme patients shown in the movie came to the showing I attended and took questions on the stage afterward. At first I couldn't figure out who they were, because they looked SO healthy compared to the frail and twisted people in the movie. The movie, for dramatic effect, leaves a more alarming impression.

sounds like a great movie but did I miss something about him going thru hep c treatment? all I could look at is clips from the movie. Do you have to buy th DVD to watch it.

I haven't seen the previews, but my mom sent me a list of quotes that come from Taken. Sounds very good so far. Maybe I can ask my peer mentor if she is interested and if she could take me to see it.

on 22 weeks pregnant and I want to pack my bag by 28 weeks, just in case I go into labor early...im very prepared person:) lol. I have a book tho that tells me: you need a few outfits for u(comfortable), a few outfits for baby, things for u to do(notebook to write, camera to take pics, etc) so u don't get bored, shower stuff, diapers, wipes, bottles, and formula(if not breastfeeding.

I have had the same problem with my three year old (and hubby!!!) I'm 20 weeks. I have found that putting a dvd player in his room works wonders. Sometimes he still comes in but I usher him back to bed and pop once a movie. Now 90% of the time he'll stay there and fall asleep watching his movie. He'll even tells me when it's bed time now and happily watch a movie and fall asleep. BUT.....

I have purposely been watching comedies to make sure I don't cry. Then of course my hubby and I decided to watch a sermon on DVD I hadn't seen yet. And it was about a college girl who ended up in a car accident and passing away. I balled.
