My daughter will be 8 in May. about two years ago, she suffered a concussion when she fell on a playground, which knocked her unconcscious. She hit the back of her head on concrete. We went through the scans, and the doctors cleared her, but I started noticing sudden drastic behavior changes.

But i was thinking also, maybe your kid needs mommy daughter time....are you preg? She might be reacting to that. But if a concussion is what you're worried about, don't let her sleep until an hour is up.

My 16 year old son was in a car wreck 5 1/2 days ago where he suffered a grade 2 moderate concussion. He was knocked unconscious for a short period of time & received a scalp laceration to the right side of his head . The CT scan discovered what the neurosurgeon described as a small thread size bleed. Later that day another CT scan was done & all signs of bleeding were gone & the blood had been absorbed. His stay in the hospital was for 3 days.

Is the diagnosis similar between a concussion and intoxication? If so, in what ways? i.e., with the pupils, when doctor shines light in eyes, motor skills, etc. In what ways are they different? What if you have/are both at the same time? Can they be possibly confused or synonymous?
Probably you had a concussion and having Post Concussion effects. You can consult a Neuro-Otologist and Neurologist and see if you have any inner ear issues. Reason for dizziness can be very many. Get an MRI done to be safe.

Observed me in ICU for 3 days and sent me home. I have a mild headache with sudden pain in various parts of my head, my stomach is upset and I am exhausted. I was told it was a mild concussion and symptoms could last for weeks, months. Although I never had a seizure I was put on preventative seizure meds. The bottom line is the brain is extremely fragile and complex. No one knows how long it will take for your's to heal. But, rest and I mean a lot of rest, will help immensely.
No one can say for certain without it being captured on a monitor but it sounds like you may have some sort of ectopics beats. Maybe a run or some sort of pattern of pacs or pvcs. In an otherwise healthy heart they are not a concern. The medical community deems them normal but most people when they get them don't feel them. Friday morning, I was getting ready to take a shower. Due to my clumsy nature, I ran into the door frame on the left side (my left) of my head. Four days ago I hit the right side of my forehead, frontal lobe on corner of hard wood door. It swelled up immediately and iced it for two or so hours then went to bed. Day three I started bruising around outside of my eye and became tired and confused a little. My dr. Tested me and said it was mild concussion and to take it easy. Does anyone know what signs I can look for if I'm to be getting better. I'm still tired, irritable and restless.
As to the concussion being permanent, in most cases, a single concussion should not cause permanent damage.
